I have a Thrustmaster T Flight Hoyas X http://mobile.thrustmaster.com/en_UK/products/tflight-hotas-x?destination=510/1 and also a Logitech 3D Pro Extreme https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/gamepads/extreme-3d-pro-joystick.html. Is it possible to use either of these with the Apex?

I have tried configuring the Console Controller preset. It responds to the buttons and joystick. It does not appear to respond to the other axis. The thrustmaster is able to operate as a PS3 recognized controller but still appears to only recognize the joystick axis.

Anyone ?

XIM Link / Scripts are not Showing Up

I have Auto Hot Key Installed, I am pointing to the "C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey\AutoHotkey.exe" directory in XIM LInk, my script is saved in My Documents\XIM Link\Scripts.  (I have tried pointing to all three exe's)

When I click Edit button, the Script Groups windows is not showing any scripts.  I have started and restarted XIM Link with no change. 

Seems like an Auto Hot Key issue, not sure how to troubleshoot this. I can open an ahk file in auto hotkey such as the WindowSpy.ahk that is part of the auto hotkey program and the AHK GUI opens...

Are there installation instructions for getting Auto Hot Key installed and configured?  Is there anything that needs to be included in each script such as environment configuration or directory location?  I am not finding much information on the forum.

I have watched the video https://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=63878.0 and read the thread https://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=63605.0  and have a few questions.

I have gone to https://autohotkey.com and I don't see version 1.1, the current version is v1.1.30.01 - November 11, 2018, I can't find a 1.1 in the archives.  Does 1.1.30.01 work?

Does it matter where you save the AHK executable?  I have saved it in the XIM Link directory where XIM Link.exe is and pointed XIMLink to AutoHotkeyU32.exe

Should we link to 64 bit or 32 bit AutoHotkeyU64.exe or AutoHotkeyU32.exe?

What should my hotkey file extension be? 

I saved my script as "myTest.ahk" in Documents\XIM Link\Scripts.  I exited XIMLink and reloaded.  When I click Edit button under scripts window, I get the Activate Scripts and Scripts Groups window, but the script does not show up.  What could I be doing wrong?  Here is the code:

I have followed the basic setup for the new Battlefield V config (works great!)  and have been experimenting with DPI.

Is there an advantage of one over the other?  Should you always use max mouse DPI and dial in the APEX sensitivity from there?

XIM Link / Cannot Install XIM Link: Invalid Drive I:\

I have installed the prerequisites; .NET Framework 4.7.1, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017 both 64 and 32 bit, and have attempted to install the XIMLink Software on my Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS.  I immediately get an error: Invalid Drive: I:\.  I don't have an I:\ Drive.  I am launching the installer from my desktop where it was saved.  This also happens with version 1.1 of XIM Link. 

After the error screen I get a second message:
The installer was interrupted before  XIM Link could be installed.  You need to restart the installer to try again.  Click "Close to Exit"

Xim link need to be installed on the harddrive that the os is running off of. Drive I seems like its not the main hd.
I don't get the option to select a drive, this is the first thing that happens after the install starts.  Also, I don't have an I: Drive

XIM Link / Error Installing APEX Link: Invalid Drive I:\

I have installed .net framework 4.7.1 and Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable" both x86 and x64, restarted the system and tried installing the Apex Link 1.2 Setup.  I get the message Invalid Drive I:\ and that the installer has been interrupted and needs to be restarted.  Rebooting and or restarting does not work.

Windows 7

Any ideas?

Hardware Compatbility / USB Switcher for XIM Apex

I found an old post https://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=45457.0 regarding compatible KVM/USB switches but thought I would double check to make sure there is compatibility with APEX

Also, if you go with a 4x2 like this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817399127&cm_re=usb_sharing-_-17-399-127-_-Product, do you only need to hook up one of the USB outs to the APEX or do you need a 4x4 for this reason?

imoanbackwards I wanted to try your config but I get a paste error, looks like it is formatted correctly.  Anyone else able to use it?

I won't pass judgment until the real product, previous betas have looked worse but I do say it is not as pretty as I thought it would be.  enemies are hard to pick out from the background, it is either too dark or washed out.  I am sure they will get it right, and probably a year after release.  I hope that the rent a server program is not as messed up as it was in BF1 that was just awful.  Tanks still suck...bad...

I am using the Razer Death Adder elite and want to know if there is a way to tweak the scroll wheel so that it acts like a button press that you hit once on scroll up or down.  It seems like it registers a press many times when I scroll and my game (Battlefield 1 and 4)  responds with multiple actions.  I scroll up to access a special item and it equips the item, then re equips my gun, which is what happens when you press D-Pad direction twice.  I tried to program the mouse wheel as a button press but the XIM recognizes it as scroll up or down regardless of what I set in the mouse software.  Any ideas?

Thanks for the info.  I was hesitant about changing at first since I am used to it but the iOS support is a big deal to me, and the new firmware is really smooth.  Getting used to it will be easy.  Well done guys!

I just upgraded my XIM4 to the newest firmware from old version 20141114. I saved all of my configs and curves. I found a tool on this forum to convert them and I successfully pasted them into new profiles. Everything looks right compared to old versions and sensitivity settings are identical but it feels slower. After playing with the old settings for so long the new profiles feel really different. Is this expect behavior?

No, it isn't. It requires Apple to source the chip.

It is misleading to tell your customers that you are working on an iOS app if you don't have the chip installed.  From what you are saying it will never be possible.

Locating the information that there is no iOS support for this product is like reading the fine print in a contract.  Oh yes, the information is there.  It's not front and center in any of the marketing material that sold me on this product.  Buyer beware.  I use a Mac not a PC so I am in a bad spot.  You owe it to your customers to make it more obvious that it is android only. >:(
