Nevermind, I was downloading the XIM 2 software instead of the XIM 1 software... SOLVED MY OWN PROBLEM =)

Okay I am using Windows XP HOME... I downloaded the latest software in the software section... After I install XIM, it keeps giving me a 401 error saying my keyboard and mouse are not detected.... I have pressed up and select and it seems my Yobo is working becuz it says 62 updates or whatever...  I just can't get it to detect my keyboard and mouse, can't even get past the calibration screen. It just says "LOOKING" and never changes.. What am I doing wrong ? please help...

Hey camel toe I found out what was wrong.. I had my playstation controller on so it was reading my XIM as Controller # 2, So i couldn't do anything lol, im retarded.. By the time I got the menu on socom working last night the BETA WAS CLOSED ! Sucked.. But how were the controls ? Good ? Percise ?

For some reason XIM won't respond to SOCOM CONFRONTATION... Maybe becuz its just a demo ?
I played PURE and it worked with XIM fine...
As did the other games..
Anybody else have this problem ? Is there a way around it ? Ill be pissed if I can use XIM for Socom when it comes out.

Okay i got everything plugged up right and im using the default settings for the XIM 1. The problem is the XMB menu for the ps3 works I can press up and down and it will work accordinlly, but when i try to press up and down or AWSD  in the game it doesnt respond. Why isn't it working ? Do i need to setup a config manually ? Im playing Socom Beta.

Can I not use my keyboard thats built into my laptop for AIM then plug in a USB mouse ?

2.  Im trying to setup Socom beta with the xim , ill load xim up my MENU icons work with ADSW keys but when i try to play socom theres no response.. I can only use my ps3 controller. What am i doing wrong.

I have the yobo adapter.. i pressed up and backspace.. But i dont understaND how to make it work... Do i have to configure it ? i have socom beta and i dunno @#$% im doing.. some pointers on how to setup it up plz thx.
