the game has a few bugs it has nothing to do with the performance of the xim.  Hopefully they will fix some of these issues on the next patch

you'll have more success with aim assist on trust me dont handicap yourself on console by going no aim assist.  If you're struggling with it just bump your sensitivity or add some boost.  That is the best advice you can get decent with no aim assist but still its no match for a better control user with aim assist

I doubt it will work you can give it a try. I believe once the ST is updated when you restore configs it tries to download game data back in to the xim4 if it doesnt recognize an outdated version with their database it will cause the app to crash.  I could be wrong but I'm almost sure.

Bowl if your not using small hand movements when you swipe you are always going to hit the speed cap.  I personally turn off those notify settings. its fine if you hit the speed cap as long as your not swiping ridiculously fast you're fine.

Potatox i agree i like the original version of fornite st especially for close combat.

Most of the time yes its best to set max sensitivity in all the games for the best performance.  For fortnite you dont really need to you can get away with a lower sensitivity. Dont worry about hitting the speed limit most of us do anyways as long as you're not swiping your mouse extremely fast then its fine. You dont have to try the settings its just a suggestion if you are struggling give it a try you might stumble on something better.

I honestly think the steady aim feature adds more aim assist than break the aim assist depending on the firmware if you're on a beta SA or official release. If you are a low sensitivity player i would recommend playing at max sensitivity in the game. If you want aim assist and a smoother aim i would lower your game sensitivity anywhere from 6-6 to 8-8.  If it feels sluggish all you have to do is turn your sensitivity on your xim4 up and you will get that smooth fast aim.  To me i feel like 10 sensitivity on fornite has a little acceleration forcing me to play at a lower sensitivity on the xim causing my hip aiming a little wacky. Normally I would recommend max game sensitivity, but for fornite anything over 5-5 xy is decent in my opinion. If you're having issues with light aim assist at 10-10 try 6-6 with around 36 for hip xy .85 and around 45-50 on ADS with 1.00 xy.

he was talking about Nettitan's settings they are very low but like i mention he probably plays on a slick mouse pad or he feels very comfortable with that sensitivity.

share pic of ur stats

Why, don't you believe him?

Pro's one of the best gamers around here and has played with guys like Dr Lupo. The dude has no reason to tell porkies.

Does your pc recognize the xim4 plug in in your usb directory? Make sure if you havent,  hold the button on the back of the xim as you plug it in.  You should see blue lights when its plug in. If that's not it try a different firmware usually if the xim4 is bricked or showing white lights you should be able to reset to factory default.  If all that fails try a different pc like OBsiV mention.

no curves, just higher sensitivity. i move just as fast as pc players but the aim assist slows me down a lot and gets in my way sometimes.  See, everyone is different they have their own settings i could never play on Nettitan settings because im a higher sens player. His settings may be low but he might play on a hard mouse pad which makes a huge difference. It all depends honestly fornite is a game that you really dont have to max out the game sensitivity you can do 6-6, 7-7 or even 8-8 on the top two controller sensitivity and have a higher sensitivity on the xim. I appreciate guys that share their settings i think everyone should test it out and see what works for them and tune it up till they find their comfortable settings

by the way Nettitan how come you play on 125 polling rate? just curious i have never tried it
