General Discussion / Re: cold war fov on ALL PLATFORMS
« on: 09:17 AM - 10/18/20 »
I want 65 field of view so I can actually see people, id rather do more turning around since Im using a mouse and for things to be bigger. No more than whatever black ops 3 had for FOV for me-  I think it was 80 or 75. Idk how people can play FPS on 110 field of view and actually see. You gotta link me your eye doctors cuz they must be giving you something really "special".

And im not joking btw. If there was a slider Id put it all the way down at 65 - the same way black ops 2 was on the 360.

My playstyle is also all about strategy and control so I don't really need a 180 field of view cuz I know where you are exactly anyway. Idk how true this is with MW and this game though since I barely touched MW and haven't played this game yet (but have seen videos and it looks like MW2019 2.0)

General Discussion / Re: A new XIM for next gen?

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Personally I only consider cheating things like wall hacks and aimbots, or anything that tampers with the base code of an application. Sure. you're still altering files but you're not really changing the code of the game, plus when the packets are on your side they are "yours", or at least from my perspective lol

As for the netduma, I've been thinking about tampering my internet strength to almost nothing when it begins searching, and then it finally gives up and is willing to match me with anyone. Then I will just have to figure out how long that takes and change my internet speed back to normal. Only problem is this is too much work first of all, and worst of all, it can be patched (if not already). All it would take if for them to disable the functionally where "it gives up" searching for players of equal skill, and it's game over.

I also just noticed that I'm the only guy in this community who isn't a mod and has a writing above his status

I haven't been on here in a while too. I will first upgrade my GPU to the rtx 3070 or 80 and then buy a new console. As of right now, idk cuz CoD has been really stupid from my POV last year with MW2019 and this year. I hate the new engine, maps, SBMM and basically all the changes. Back in the day I hated them but still played them, now I think they've gotten so bad I didn't even buy MW2019. And CoD is the only thing i use my console for. I also hate the warzone, fortnite and all these other games since the whole aspect of battle royale ain't appealing to me at all.

Not yet, but we plan on announcing before the end of the year.

Anti-skill based matchmaking device / router ? I was thinking the other day about some kind of device that modifies the packets being sent so that it tells the server that some of your kills were actually deaths. Imagine how triggered companies like Activision would be and how many people would buy it LOL

XIM APEX Discussions / Re: AIMING ISSUE
« on: 11:00 PM - 07/28/19 »
Have you looked into ADS delay ? I always have mine set to a 0. If you have high hip fire sensitive and low ADS sensitivity this may be the issue.

LOL im close to tier 500 in the current supply stream I just checked. I am an unstoppable beast. What's even better is I bought the cronus used for 50$ haahaha

Also if you connect the Cronus to the console the XIM in the controller slot of the cronus you can also take advantage of all the cronus mods.

8
I did something else instead. I bought a Cronus Max and now I have a XIM and a Cronus. (XIM for gameplay, Cronus for boosting)

The reason why I wanted this in the first place wasn't for any type of rapid fire etc. mods but simply to boost the tiers in CoD. Now I just have to leave my ps4 on all day, and the cronus max which is connected to my second PC is set to constantly repeat a macro (completely emulating almost normal in-game behavior) until I manually stop it. Every day I get like about 40 cases without doing a thing. I already have all the guns in the game and soon I will have all the loot in the game.

I don't like playing more than 1 hour a day and I also dont like spending 40$ / day (this equivalent of what I get now without doing anything)

With this setup now I actually wish MW has some unfair guns in their supply drops cuz  I will get them all and most other people wont and I will be able to **** on them without even trying, and without them able to do anything other than rage quitting

and this is all happening while xim4 manager is trying to load. I tried putting the xim4 in wired configuration mode, I tried the default mode (where you just let it start) and nothing. It is the same error over and over again.

One of the times when I had it in wired configuration mode (press the P button during the startup sequence), I managed not to get an error from XIM Link but an error from XIM4 Manager saying "USB transfer cable not found" or something like that.

So is my cable not the one I need ? I really don't get it.

Ok managed to get it to work but I get an error. Here is the log:

I got my transfer cable today, it is the Plug-gable Transfer Cable one : https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B005OTPVMY

No matter which USB port I do on both the XIM and PC it's not even detected. When I click Add Device, both the XIM Apex and XIM4 options are grayed out.

I did read the patch notes on the latest version:
Quote
If you have already used Link before, you will have apex as an output device. If it is a fresh install, you have to add either Apex or XIM 4 as an output device manually. XIM 4 will still use XIM 4 Manager, so it must be installed.

As the Link is manipulating and controlling external process (XIM 4 Manager), that I have not coded myself, there could still be a case that causes Link to crash if something happens to the manager. However it should work now much better than with Sandhawc. For example a translator update is detected and the connection will not stall and crash like before.

Also there is currently no proper way to restart XIM 4 Manager from Link. The only 2 ways are either Link restart or removing XIM 4 from output devices and adding it again.

But I have no idea what this means. How do I make Link use the XIM 4 manager ?

The way I have this currently is my XIM4 is connected to the playstation and the tranfer cable is connected to one of the mouse / keyboard ports. Is there something I'm missing or did I pick the wrong cable ?

XIM Link / Re: XIM Link 1.4.2 is out!
« on: 07:53 PM - 07/12/19 »
thank you very much ! I will try it tomorrow.

13
It has all been taken care of now. I called my ISP and they fixed it. I can now change my IP to something completely different whenever I want (as long as I'm connected to the router), while keeping the original IP for all other devices connected directly to the modem.

This is exactly what I wanted and what I had before.

14
I will contact the ISP tomorrow and yes I was banned for multiple reasons. Attacking and trash talking people just for fun, at the time I also had around 50,000 fake followers on that account. I tried to get myself unbanned but it didn't work.

Thx for the info.

Information Technology Specialist here.. what you are describing is private IP vs public IP, private IP addresses for most routers / modems will be 192.168.0.1 or the last two octets may be 1.1 or 2.1 for example. This is standard for MOST routers, and these are your private IP addresses. The reason for this, is if every device in the world had its own public IP addresses, there wouldn’t be enough to go around with the current version of Internet Protocol (IPv4) which is why IPv6 was invented, but that is not fully implemented and it is in hexadecimal format. If you’re banned from Twitter, it is likely an IP ban, changing your private IP address will not fix your problem because Twitter will only see your public IP. A good way to test this is to go to a website like IPChicken.com (this will give you your public  IP address. Write it down, then go to windows, open command prompt and type IPconfig. If your numbers are not the same then you are using a private IP address that is being converted to public.

I would not recommend using a VPN, it sounds like you may have gotten lucky and had a good server close to you, but it will always be slower as your network traffic is being routed elsewhere (along with everyone else who uses the service) processed, then sent to where it needs to go.

If you are banned by MAC address rather than IP, why not just buy a new $20 network card? This is where your MAC is tied to, and it is unique to all cards. All you have to do is unscrew the current one from your PCiE port and pop it out, replace it, new MAC. Or try downloading a MAC address spoofer, but they can be a little tricky.

thx

The IP i'm talking about are public IPs. (taken directly from google)

Changing my public IP through the MAC address clone setting on my bridged router, as well as creating new user account on the computer and starting fresh usually works with almost anything.

Basically it used to let me completely change my public IP on the bridged router (ALL its digits), now only the last 2 sets of digits change and I don't think that's good. Like instead of going from 132.68.7.12 to something like 48.1.16.81, it goes from 132.68.7.12 to 132.68.6.13. I've tried it over and over again.

There are still a few things I need to test to see if they work and I will when I have the time.
