Release Candidates / 707 Virus Fail
« on: 07:01 PM - 07/10/11 »
Not really a bug with the build itself. I haven't come across any problems actually playing a game, the update is great. It was when I fired up the program, Norton stopped it and deleted it.  For me this was no problem.  I knew I could trust it and all I had to do was allow it and undelete it.  This hasn't happened with with any other builds, I was just concerned for some people it may cause a scare, and I also don't know if any other virus scanner would pick it up like that.  Just don't want any other people to not be able to enjoy the upgrade.

Feedback / A Karma system possibility

This is the original thread, please read through it.  There was no "Reply" button, so I guess this would be a good place to put this. If not please move it to where it needs to be.

ANYWAY! I think that a "Thank You" button could be a good solution instead of having a '+' and '-' system.  The actual post itself could say who thanked the person(like directly under it), and maybe under the name and picture you could have a "Thanked XX times"  Just as a little thing so newcomers or something can know how "helpful" this person has actually been.  Also maybe not have Admins or Developers get thank you'd since if Obv were to post something like a new ST for the next CoD or something, the Thank You's under that one post would be a page in itself! Since we all know they have something good to say, I don't think they need it.  ;D

Just a thought.  Feel free to flame it or add to it, rip a apart, like it, whatever you feel like.

Smart Translators / The black dot...
« on: 06:31 PM - 02/27/11 »
I searched for this, I'm sure there is a topic out there on it, but I might just suck at finding how to word this correctly to find what I was looking for.  Anyway, I was wondering is there a way that you could program it for If it breaks the move speed and black dots, it instead just caps it at Max turn speed. So there would be a way you could pick your own sensitivity or pick it so it just caps itself at max turn.  Like black ops I'm perfectly fine with the adjustable sens, I found a sensitivity I really like, but for Halo reach I can't find a good sensitivity.  I would rather just have it set to cap at max turn speed as that would be optimal for me, but for black ops that max would not be the best as it is really fast, so the adjustable is good.  Just a thought, and if there is sweet thread out there somewhere about this just let me know nicely and don't blow me up.

Hardware Compatibility / Wireless Headset
« on: 09:23 AM - 02/23/11 »
So a wireless headset will work regardless correct?  I have a Madcatz controller and it won't let me use my generic Microsoft headset and a friend is willing to sell his wireless headset to me cheap.  Before I tell him I would buy it, I just want to make sure it will work regardless what with my XIM3.  I've never had one one, but it seems it connects more like a wireless controller and "finds" a controller to connect to, not actually connecting to a controller though.

Any insight on this would be great.  ;D

XIM 3 Discussions / As horrible as this may sound!
« on: 07:47 PM - 01/31/11 »
I wouldn't mind one bit if the XIM3 came out at the end of next week.  The ONLY reason is because I've ordered an MX 518 and it won't come until the middle to end of next week! I would rather just start out my XIM experience with an amazing mouse rather than switching from crap to amazing. I did take the advice of the community and bought a new mouse to enhance my experience.  Being a PC FPS gamer since '04, I want the best quality closest to PC gaming as possible with my Xbox.

XIM 3 Discussions / Generic Everything!
« on: 02:29 AM - 01/30/11 »
I'm new to XIM (the product and the site[sorta]) Hello People!  I was snooping around last year at the XIM2 products and thought it was pretty pricey, and I'm a poor college student. Also the fact I heard that some games where a little harder to fine tune than others. I'm pretty sure I'm sold though on the XIM3!! (The price and the mechanics of it). Like I said, being a poor college student I can't get these fancy 20 button mice to blow up the world.  I'm assuming that very generic components will work.  I don't have a keyboard yet (Suggestions please?), and I'm planning on using the Microsoft Mouse X802382.  If those won't work, I'll have to pick a for sure known product from the compatibility list. I'm all for cheap stuff though!  ;D
