Hardware Compatibility / Problem with scroll-wheel on Asus GX800 gaming mouse

My cat recently chewed up my old Logitech MX518 so I broke out my spare gaming mouse which I got for free with my laptop.

Everything works fine with the XIM3 except the scroll-wheel.

Macro Magnata / This program will not work with my joypad.

Hey, I recently downloaded this to use for super combos in SFIV, and I can't get my PS2 gamepad to work.

I have an EMS PS2 to USB adapter, and it shows up as a 4 axis 16 button joystick under windows settings. Also, XIM2 software works fine with it.

Configurations and Requests / Mass Effect Config

Hey, I really wanted to get a config for this game. So I decided to make one for my self.

This is my first config, and I'm still having problems with zig-zagging. But I'll post it here, and update it as I figure it out. Any help would be.. Rather helpful.

I started out from the Gears of War config, seeing as it was on the same engine. (But it turns out the control is totally different).

I was wondering if it would be possible to record my keystrokes + mouse movements to create a macro that does the last level of Gears of War 2 over and over again so I can get 100,000 kills for the Seriously 2.0 achievement?

Is there some kind of program I can use to record everything I do?

I finally got around to finishing it. (It's just in Movie maker, nothing special).

The gameplay video is old, and it used a config with a very bad deadzone. I would have posted my +45 K/D I got in BTS today (Lots of great sniping), but I go to recent videos and only 3 recent one's are there... It's like it just vanished.

Anyways, I love my XIM360! Thank you XIM360 Team!

Xbox / Why the Halo 3 ranking system sucks.

Today good sirs, I shall tell you a story of epic fails on behalf of the Halo 3 ranking system.

Exactly five minutes ago was the day I lost my 20 win streak in Team SWAT. At the end of the game, with the last few kills remaining, my dad started streaming Stargate Atlantis off of some Chinese pirate site, and I died.. Resulting in a 49 to 50... The sad thing is I went +13 against these boosting bad kids, and I ranked down... Yes, after a 20 win streak, going positive K/D EVERY game, I loose one game while still going +13 (With an extermination and like 5 triple kills), and I STILL RANK DOWN.

I'm going to go cry in the corner now.. I really want my 50 in Team SWAT, but the ranking system is so unfair.

Maybe I'll nag tweak and ChrisG to play with me... I really need a team that knows the mlg callouts and is dead on with a BR... Things of which I am.

Feedback / Mouse Acceleration

Have an option to turn off mouse acceleration on or off during the install process of the XIM software, and have it as a toggleable option while on the XIM software interface.

So for new users, they would know what to do the first time they install it. And then people could turn it on and off while they're tweaking in the XIM program.

I think that would fix some confusion.

At first I thought something silly like "only play two games in the playlist", or "only get a highest skill of 2". Then I thought it might have to do with couples like "only play games with a female player as your teammate", or "only get kills while dual wielding weapons" but I didn't know if that was possible for bungie to track.

Right now I'm thinking the most reasonable answer. It's whoever "who has the most double kills."

I hate how bungie gives recon away to a bunch of random fucknuts, leaving the fans to speculate on what the @#$% they're supposed to be doing.

Your thoughts?

I've been thinking about getting a G5 for awhile. All my gamer friends say it's the best, what do XIMers choose?

I'm thinking about the new model with the two extra buttons and 2000DPI support.

It says

I just checked with the estimate shipping thing next to the checkout... It said $0.00 to ship to Alaska, ZIP CODE: 99705.

Technical Support / Any ideas on how much will the XIM2 will cost?

I am VERY excited hearing about the XIM2 (I've never had anything like it), and will 100% be getting it. It's not that I'm a crappy player, I've been playing video games for 8+ years. I just think I could get out my full potential with my accustomed mouse and keyboard arrangement, and I would have a lot more fun playing my games.

I'm just wondering how much of my birthday money it will eat up. :p Any estimates?
