Game Support / PUBG controller disconnect

I’m using a controller to work through inventory right now as I am more proficient. I am slowly learning the controls but it will take more then a couple play sessions. More times then not but nothing consistent the controller will disconnect causing me to have to reset the xim. Is there anything I am doing on my end. I will try a different data cable but I am doubtful that is the issue. Any tips would be great, I appreciate it.
