So since Cross Play will work in MW similar to that of Fortnite, Players will be matched with other players across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC that have similar input devices (using controllers). Cross Play will work between PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and if you are using a controller, you will be placed in lobbies with players using controllers.

And, similar to cross play games like Fortnite, in Modern Warfare, if you are on PS4 or Xbox One and team up with a player on PC using a keyboard and mouse, you will then be placed in lobbies with all players — regardless of input devices.

I guess my question is, if youre using a xim on a console, will it be detected and will you be put in a lobby with other mouse players?

XIM 4 Discussions / Help with turning right and left. NOOB here

So I rented Destiny 2 to check it out to see if I like it. I dowloaded Destiny 1 on the XIM app to use. I messed a bit with the sensitivities (and turned the in game look sensitivty all the way to 10) and everything seems find except when I want to turn right or left when I aim. It feels very sluggish and slow to turn.

How do I go about changing that so I get that turn on a dime feel?  SOrry for the Noob question

General Discussion / Elite Controllers vs XIM4?

So I have my XIM4 and, dont get me wrong, I like it. I am playing better with it then I did with my standard ps4 controller but I am just curious how the XIM stands up to an elite controller like a Scuff?

I have always used a mouse playing online and I know basically nothing about these elite controllers. In fact ive never heard of one until yesterday but I read a lot of the pros use them. I just wanted to get peoples thoughts about what they think

Also, there is a lot of heat on people who use the XIM. People call them cheaters.  What about Scuf users?

XIM 4 Discussions / Losing connection

Maybe its a faulty wire but the wire that hooks up the controller to the xim is more and more losing connection. Im in the middle of a game and I will lose all connection out of the blue. I have to then go the app and reconnect. At first it would reconnect no problem but now the wire has to be moved just in the right position in order to connect and to have the controller icon be recognized on the app which shows it is working correctly.

Maybe just an aging wire? idk...getting frustrated.  Do I just need to maybe buy a new wire? its a droid wire?

Hardware Compatibility / ps4 Headset??

So there is no easy way to find out what headsets work with the XIM4.  Ive searched here and there isnt much.

Can anyone recommend a good headset for the PS4 that will work with the XIM4?

$100 is what I got to work with.  I had the Gold headset and it worked but it didnt allow for my own voice feedback which I want

Hardware Compatibility / Noob headset help!

Ok, I know this question has been asked a lot but I am a computer idiot and cant figure out how to use a headset when the XIM4 is setup.  I did a search here for topics that might help but I had difficulty understanding what I need to do in order to have a headset work with the XIM4 for the PS4.

Without checking first, I bought a wireless headset looking to use it for my PS4..with the Xim4...of course it didnt work

If I simply exchange the headset for a wired headset with a USB...will that solve my problem?  Or if I buy the wired headset...do I still need some sort of adapter?  Or should I keep the wireless headset I have now and get some sort of adapter?

I know this question has been asked a lot but the more I read solutions on here the more confused I become

General Discussion / Just got xim. Problem???

Was all excited because my keyboard came in the mail today which means I finally had everything I needed to hook up the xim4

The xim4 was given to me so it's used but I followed the videos on this site on how to hook it up. I turned off all the controllers. I hooked up the ps4 controller to port 3, the mouse to port 1 and the keyboard to port 2.

I then inserted a droid charger I had (person I got xim from didn't have a wire to hook it up directly to ps4. He said I could use any droid charger) into a wall outlet to turn power on.

At this point the xim is blinking yellow.

I then paired up the xim to the app I downloaded. It seemed to synch up fine. The device is still blinking yellow.

I then went to hit the ps button on controller but the controller did nothing. I know the controller had 3 bars of power before I did anything.

The device is still blinking yellow and the mouse or keyboard aren't responding

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Am I supposed to hook this up to a computer first? Im sorta computer Illiterate

Just picked up my xim4 and excited to try it out. Question though....The wire that came with the XIM4 is basically a droid charger. Does that have to be hooked up to the PS4 or can you plug it into an wall outlet?

I realize the price tag that comes with the xim4 but im a computer guy who wants to transition to PS4 for COD etc.

Anyways..is it better to have the mouse with a keyboard or navigational controller?  Im a newbie so im not even sure if im asking the right question.

But I am looking for a low cost option. Im used to keyboard but is a Nav controller better?
