Not a FORTNITE fan but this is FINALLY arriving from MICROSOFT.
I hope this translate in other Games getting M+KB support that I do play.

XB1 seemed to be excuse to deny M+KB support for a good long while.

General Discussion / Console #1 in every Category of Accuracy ( Overwatch )

To me that just blows my mind. . . . .

OVERBUFF shows every single Hitscan + Projectile w/ Console #1 Accuracy w/ only Pharah & Widow TIED w/ PC but PC much higher Crit Rate on Widow.

Not only that but our Direct Hit % on Pharah is better than none. Even myself using XIM4 w/o AimAssist was 29% Direct Hit S10 while Valkia is 20%.

I'm well aware of How precise PC m+kb is which only makes me wonder what I am capable of on PC. . . . If I can Aim that sharp w/ inferior controls. I can't lie. I feel like PC would be much easier since they wouldnt just stack 6/6 counters vs me just cuz they know I'm using M+KB.

Blizzard set all the Profiles to PRIVATE by Default hiding the actual DATA.
Probably because we are making a mockery out of that PC superiority concept.

XIM 4 Discussions / Monitor vs TV

After trying to test gameplay on my 4K TV by turning off Game Mode finding the game literally unplayable. Im now considering buying a Gaming Monitor. Im expecting a drastic difference in responsiveness in controls as being as great as tested vs playing w/o Game Mode:ON

Am I expecting too much or am being realistic? I'll be going from a 20~25ms display lag to 1~5ms if I buy an actual Monitor.

Game Support / Overwatch - Diagonal Aim Unresponsive

Vertical as well as Horizontal are fine yet Diagonal is basically 1/4 the Sensitivity of the other two. I tried using Controller and it's not that. Im assuming it is by design to be less sensitive w/in the ST or w/e. Is there any way to just have it work max sensitivity like the rest? Diagonal swipes are unresponsive in comparison.

Slow & Unresponsive compared to Horizantal & Vertical movement. I checked the Controller. It works totally different.
Im assuming this is by design w/ the ST itself?

Aim Assist slows down mouse control over & around targets. Being the case if you had XIM4 setup to the point where AimAssist is irrelevant. You had full range of control allowing tracking of targets easily w/o the need of such. Would you even bother going w/o AA or still stick w/ AA? Maybe just go w/ like 10~20%? Being set so low would it even really make any difference whatsoever?

Ive had such a discussion else where but Im very curious since yall know better than anyone.

How much of an advantage is XIM4 vs Controller?

Ive heard some claim that since XIM4 is analog that it cannot do anything that a controller cant. Others say it is more a matter of personal preference more than anything. While the majority of ppl claiming XIM4 was far superior were doing such protesting against it's existance demanding it be banned. Personally I think it is alot better than controller and way easier to control aim using such. It's not perfect like real M+KB but it's close enough to actually work. I think everyone should have one. Yall thoughts?

Anyone know of a device that exists allowing Analog movement combined w/ KB? Something along the lines of what the Tac Pro has. Im not sure why Razer never made a new model w/ Analog control but I refuse to buy a Tac Pro especially when I read it works as digital combined w/ XIM4 and NOT as analog movement. Also dont want to use the PS Nav btw. Not enough conveniently placed buttons for my taste. Thx.

I recall reading such being mentioned here many times before but what exactly is this a 1:1 Ratio of? Is it possible for max turn speeds in games to surpass the end Ballistic 100 point? Would a game where the XIM4 does not "blink" swiping the mouse in horizantal motions w/ Ballistics ending set to 100 equal the same insta-turn speeds of PC? If we wanted such PC turn speeds on console at what point should the Ballistics not "blink" if not ending @100?

How much better would Overwatch, in perticular, be if Blizzard stretched out the analog max turn speeds from 46.0 to 100?
That is the Question.

Being that each game possess a different threshold to where max movement speed is reached forcing the XIM4 to blink. If the game possesses a max Ballistics setting threshold of 0.50 let's just say. Having an XIM4 Game Update for such a game should have the Ballistics updated to match the max threshold of mouse speed. Therefor for a game where Ballistics above 0.50 causes the XIM4 to blink excessively, meaning Ballistic settings are too high, and your exceding the max speed causing no extra movement by moving the mouse any faster. Shouldnt such XIM4 Game Updates possess the maximum Ballistic point so that XIM4 users cannot surpass this causing such to happen? Users here have tested posting 0.40 for instance for a game. Which makes no sense that the default Updated setting is at 100.0. This in itself being on a 00.0 to 100.0 angled Ballistics scale when 40.0 is the max cuts off mouse movement quicker than it should reducing mouse control. Being that the scale is angled too steep beyond the threshold max. If the max threshold is 0.50 and Updated 00.0 to 50.0 this will allow the quickest mouse movements possible never forcing the XIM4 to blink nor losing any movement. XIM4 Game Updates should offer the precise cutoff improving mouse control for each game without users having to adjust themselves or being forced to slow down mouse movements. Looking for an XIM representitive response.

Game Support / Overwatch - XIM4 Ballistics Fixed

I wanted to be able to quick turn 180 degrees yet still maintain a more finely accurate aim sniping. After going back and forth continuously tuning my XIM4 settings I came to the conclusion. I cannot do both with the same sensitivity setting. I first tried setting multiple DPI on my mouse and toggling between them. Not so great in my opinion. I tried sticking to 180 degree sensitivity and working through it aiming as best I can. Which works ok I guess but....

I learned to set my XIM4 up w/ 2 sensitivity settings. One 5% and then the other 10%. I set the 10% sensitivity with Y/X Ratio to .10 and the Activation Key to a thumb button on my mouse. So now I can intuitively, without any thought, quickly turn rapidly on a straight line without losing the fine aim I so desperately wanted to possess.
I dont know if this has been discussed or mentioned before or maybe I was just doing everything wrong but I hope this helps some. Im a console gamer who never used a mouse before nor XIM4 so still learning as I go.

UPDATE: I STARTED THIS THREAD AIMING TO OVERCOME THE LACK OF COMMAND THAT THE XIM4 SEEMED TO BE CAPABLE OF GIVING.
- BY PAGE#2 I UNDERSTOOD FULLY THE PROBLEM WAS THE BROKEN BALLISTICS SETTINGS AND REALIZED HOW TO FIX THEM.

Technical Support / [Q/A] XIM4FLASH TOOL

Instructions:

Hold down the 'P' button on the back of your XIM4
Plug your XIM4 into your PC while continuing to hold the 'P' button
Wait for your XIM4's light to display blue and then release the 'P' button
Download and run the XIM4Flash tool
Select Update or Restore Factory Defaults (requires re-pair of your XIM4 to your devices)
Disconnect your XIM4 from your PC after the tool completes

The XIM4FLASH tool downloaded but I cannot find, open nor run it. I've tried redoing the process but it refuses to download the flash tool twice.  My XIM4 works on my PS4 unless I open the Android app on my phone then everything dies. Need help.
