Hi, I just want to share my config. Nothing special, but for me best working. It's a setup for XIM4 like behaviour with direct mouse inputs. (no smoothing, boosting or curves)

1. Mouse setup

Mouse: G703 Lightspeed
DPI: 12.000
Signal rate: 1000 Hz

General Discussion / PS5 Dualsense Controller - decryption via Windows possible?

Hello all,
since April it is possible to update the PS5 Dualsense controller via Windows.

Sony has provided a program for this purpose:

Do you think this program is a chance that the encryption of the PS5 Dualsense controller is cracked?

I don't know anything about programming/hacking - but maybe this information is helpful for someone with more knowledge.

Game Support / Call of Duty: Vanguard ST - Rework?

Will there be a update for Vanguard ST, trained to ADS multiplier 1.0? (as it was in every CoD part before and had always worked well)

At the moment it doesn't feels right and you need plenty settings, to make it playable.

Also there is a "jump" in the back transition from ADS to HIP when using the recommended ADS multiplier.

XIM APEX Discussions / New Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta isn't even working with Remote Play on PS5

The new Call of Duty: Vanguard beta can also no longer be played using the Remote Play trick. If you play the game via Remote Play, you can use all the buttons in the menus - but as soon as you start a game on a map normally, you can no longer use certain buttons:
So far I've noticed it with L1, R1, L2, R2, L3 and R3.

Unfortunately, with Remote Play, it is also no longer possible to play the latest version of Call of Duty in the PS5 version.

It‘s like the devs are reading this forum and react immediately to new work arounds.

XIM Link / XIM Link - Input Lag?

Hello,
does XIM Link add any input lag to my XIM Apex or is the polling rate of 1000 Hz affected?

For my setup XIM Link would be perfect, but I don't want to accept any degradation of performance from my XIM Apex.

Perhaps someone can let me know if they have noticed any downgrades. Or a developer who knows more about how XIM Link works and if it degrades performance.

Hello everyone, there is a new setting in BOCW.

It is called "ADS Sensitivity Transition Timing".
You can set this option to "Instant".

This means that the moment you press the right mouse button the ADS sensitivity ingame will be activated immediately.

The good thing about it: You don't need to set an ADS delay anymore (i.e. set the value to 0) and you have your ADS ST active immediately when you press the right mouse button. This should make aiming easier.

Just for information for the developers and users of XIM Apex, who will get the new game:

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War DOES NOT run on the MW2019 engine. It uses a revamped and upgraded Black Ops 3 engine instead:

First off, Treyarch’s Dan Bunting says that they are not fully using Modern Warfare’s engine for Black Ops Cold War. Infinity Ward debuted a brand new engine with Modern Warfare that was in the works for years, which dramatically transformed Call of Duty’s graphics.

Treyarch says that while the teams share the ‘underlying technology,’ the engine and technology being used in Black Ops Cold War was created back in 2015. Bunting says that the team worked hard to revamp and re-build a lot of their tools starting with Black Ops 3, and Black Ops Cold War showcases the power of what they were able to do. It’s important to focus on making tools and specific functionality versus a whole engine, and that’s where they focused.

So when we start tweaking or training a new ST (especially for beta), we should start to look into the Black Ops 3 ST.

XIM APEX Discussions / XIM 4 Settings for XIM APEX

What are the settings for the XIM Apex to have the same parameters as an XIM 4?

I have now found several statements and videos of OBsIV and Od1n in the forum and on Youtube.

What is the right setting for a XIM 4 feeling on the XIM Apex?

- 125 Hz
- SAB: off

And now the most important question:
Sync "off" or "default"?

It feels not the same with 125 Hz, so the sync matters.

@OBsIV: Please tell me which sync is the right one.

There are so many different statements and speculations in different threads from all sorts of people, that I would appreciate an official answer from you. (or from one of the moderator, e.g. Od1n)

1st - A few have made comments about what settings are most like Xim4. OBsIV has told us in the past that Apex running at 125hz and Default Sync was identical to Xim4. He then told us that 125hz with Off or Default Sync was the equivalent of Xim4. Then he stated Sync Off running at 125hz is the same as Xim4.

Hello,
how long did it take to develop the XIM after the PS4 was released?

I already have a bad feeling this year when the new PS5 comes out. I'm aware that I won't be playing the early days because I can't hit anything with the controller.

I think the development time will be about the same as it was with the PS4.

Can anyone tell me how long it took to get an XIM after the PS4 was released in November 2013?

What values do you use for Steady Aim?
I will try out different numbers.



@Obsiv: Can you tell me the value i have to choose, if I want a same behavior like SteadyAim3 for Xim4?

I'm german with phone language german, so it seems, that the XIM APEX app automatically activated the german language for itself too.

But I like to use the XIM APEX app in english. How can i change the language of the app on IOS?

Deutsch / Adresse XIM APEX

Hallo,
ich wohne in der A*straße, habe das auch als Adresse angegeben, leider konnte die Xim-Seite das "ß" anscheinend nicht richtig verarbeiten, so dass nach der kompletten Bestellung samt Paypal Zahlung jetzt als Rechnungs- und Lieferadresse die "A*straße" aufgeführt ist.

Kommt das Paket per FEDEX trotzdem an, bzw. kann ich die Adresse noch auf ein "A*strasse" ändern?
