Hardware Compatbility / 4k Polling Rate

Is 4k-8k polling rate compatible with xim apex?  I have a G Wolves htx 4k and a razer 4k mouse but neither work when switching to 4k polling.  Mouse still works but seems like the sensitivity and mouse stability drops by a lot.

Technical Support / Xim4 Flash Tool Crashes When Restoring Configs

There's an issue when you back up 2 different versions of Translators, everytime you restore, the app crashes at downloading games from database xim4.com If you happen to have 2 different versions of STs on the same back up once the old one gets removed/updated the back up config will crash or not work.  Is there any way to recover or work around this with out searching for game database on restore? I have tried uninstalling xim4 manager and deleting all the files in my computer, but nothing worked.  Only reason why I ask is because some of us prefer older versions of translators or will like to restore same old backup just incase xim4 ever gets corrupted.

Been Getting A lot of request from people I normally use 2 sets of macro for my mouse 1 for heavy, the other for going to orbit.  Since I play on a sony nav I don't have a lot of buttons to work with, but for those who are been asking here's some macros.

I don't recommend using same exact sensitivity with my curves. This is just a blueprint/template whatever you want to call it to help you find a decent setup for your own playstyle or class.

As far as the macros goes I don't recommend using the cheesy ones but whatever you want to do is up to you. If controllers can have titan ones and cronus max why cant we spice things up too. Anyways Enjoy hope this help!

Since new Destiny i felt the xy ratio felt better anywhere under 1.15 so adjust yours as you feel.
Also noticed that my sprint profile was jerking my aim while activating so i took it off

Is there a ratio or the difference between xbox 1 and ps4 sensitivity?  I tried matching curves or sensitivity like my ps4 but cant seem to get it right.  Itll be nice if there was a sensitivity converter or a way to match settings..

Also different mouses or DPI settings require sensitivity adjustments to your play style
I recommend always setting your sensitivity a little higher than normal and make small changes as you go

Game Support / Anyway to set different ADS

i want to creat a sub class for my normal ADS then i want to create another sub class but have my left mouse click as my activation so when im firing my gun it has a a faster ADS while the key is activated..i dont want to toggle i want it to have 1 speed for ads another when i fire while in ads or hip....if anyone knows how or if its even possible any help will be appreciated..

Technical Support / [RESOLVED] well My xim 4 has died completely

i was playing some crucible in destiny for 20 minutes when my xim started blinking then turn off my character started walking on his own i thought it was usb cable so i tried new cable. nothing no lights or power. i tried restoring firmware or getting it to work on computer nothing theres no power at all.  i dont know if i want to spend another $130 or just go back to playing with a controller

XIM 4 Discussions / Problem with Sony Nav ADS & Xim

i just recently go back to playing battlefield i have play numeous games with aim assist on and off and both have worked fine for me.

the problem im having is shotting targets while ADSn with sony nav trigger
ive tested the problem with AA on and off
I tested on games like BF4, Hardline, Halo, And cod games
when i ADS i can move at the sensitivity i have on with no problem and everything is smooth
now when i fire any gun even the most accurate gun the aim speed drops down tremendously
i have used standard, a lot of curves tried many other options and still same effect plus all my settings are correct


when i used my orbweaver and i ADS & shoot with mouse i do not have this problem sometimes but hardly ever
even when i pick up the xbox 1 or ps4 controller to move with the left side when i shoot it stays at the same speed as ADS. the problem is only when i use a sony nav to aim with. yesterday i bought 2 new sony navs and downgrade xim to v1 firmware and there problem was there im not much of a keyboard player i really hate having to tap keys constantly.  theres definitely a bug with the sony nav on the xim ive done a lot of test and the results are the same. any help with this will be greatly appreciated it whoever has a nav go test it out sing your aim left and right a couple of times then do it while shooting you will notice the sensitivity will drop and feel different

just got the news 5g laser sensor up to 16,000 dpi and adjustable clicks sounds like a beast, 2 options wired and wireless. a little pricey but might be worth it and if its slightly smaller than the death adder it will be worth buying

a lot of people been asking me for my setup or asking me to help them find a good setup well here's a little quick guide that you can use and put your own sensitivity numbers in place of mines...
this setup will help you conquer aim assist or improve your aim from 50% to 90%

ok this is how i set my AR/Sub class for precise aim






Standard Smart Translator for the smoothest 1.1 for HIP & ADS
i use Roads method i set my ADS to what i like then i times the ADS number by 2.4 and set that number as my hip.  its up to you if you dont want to deal with ADS Delay..

Now set your sensitivity to whatever feels comfortable and snappy

Step 2 make a sub config no hotkey needed just and Activation Key for that config so click right arrow on ADS give your sub config a name and activate with Fire button i assume its your left click on mouse



set your sensitivity slightly slower or a little higher if you use my curve

now if your wondering whats the point of all this well i like to ADS pretty fast and when you set you ADS high you end up missing shots from long range or your shot is all over the place. so by doing a sub config you can have it to where when you snap on a target usually aim assist does most of the work..once you lock on when you FIRE your gun the ballistic/secondary config will kick in allowing you to slow and work your shot a long with the aim assist.. its also a good way to steady your long range shots with AR or Sub so give that a try now if you want more aim assist or you want to lock on try something like this make another config deactivate the previous one and set it something like this

^notice how i use boost plus a slightly higher xy to help aim down while double jumping and widen the aim assist dead zone.. i also used a higher sensitivity than my actual ads because the curve really slows down when you shoot at a target so basically you want a higher sensitivity and some boost to compliment the curve

again you will have to set your own numbers and whatever you think feels good

For the people who hate aim assist or have hard time keeping up with target or once they get targets in their crossairs but cant finish the kill because the sensitivy is to high or the aim assist is to heavy this will help you battle aim assist a little better

for med-high sensitivity players

Follow the same procedure as my other setup for the sub config


you can set it up 2 ways 1 is making your initial ads slower than your sub config then when you shoot it speeds it up to enable to you to stay with target as they dash/sprint or strafe. or 2 you can have your ads fast to snipe or snap on targets quick then slow it down maybe use some boost to help with aim assist

a lot of people have used Tuff's curve some say its not steady or it jitters from long range if thats the case keep the ads with Tuff curve make a third  sub config and slap my curve on there and keep your shots steady at any range with a fast movement from tuff's curve...




last but not least this is all personal preference, im real anall about how i set my profiles you can set yours however and put in your own values or curvesi hope this will help some of the guys who are having problems aiming or maneuvering at a fast pace with good control
