I actually just revved up my xim3 for the first time in a while, and found that my mouse input was unresponsive altogether after updating to the newest firmware. Restoring factory defaults wipes all my profiles and leaves me at 1.00.20140413, still no mouse. Thoughts? Should I just run an older version?

Update: Downgrading to 1.00.20120824 did not bring back functionality on the g9x.

So if you wanted to set the extra button to down on the d-pad, you'd use the contact point 4th from the left and then for the other either 5th or 6th?

My guess is yes, but can we get a confirmation from someone who's re-flashed already?

As far as I can see, the only changes thus far have been the "Boost Jitter" knob.

Am I correct in this belief? Since I don't currently use boost I wouldn't be terribly rushed to switch up to the new firmware, maybe tomorrow or when I have some extra time.

I think my preference for such a high accel may be due to my heavy controller use over the past.. hah, what 7+ years? Just a theory

This discussion on toggle ADS is interesting. I've only used a toggle once or twice, but I've always been used to hold-to-ADS so it's felt very odd.

Wow, sorry, have to change this. I just started playing with the advanced settings, and now the ADS is PERFECT.

Changes:
smart translator or standard: Smart Advanced
acceleration: .55 / .45
XY ratio: 1.25

don't know why it suddenly felt so natural, but these settings are making it feel great

I think you'll really enjoy the nav, I've been using it in place of my g13 and I find it to be extremely intuitive.

mouse you are using: Logitech g9
DPI: 3200
in-game sensitivity: 10
primary sens: 25.5
secondary sens: 22.75
acceleration: 0 / 0
smart translator or standard: Smart
if smart which ST: BO / BO-ADS
if standard, what settings for Deadzone, XY, etc.: N/A
are you using the BO-ADS beta drop (Y/N): Y
if so, need settings for delay, boost, etc.: Delay 72ms (assault rifle w/SOHP), no boost

This is the best feel I've achieved with the ADS settings. Even so, I can't say that I find it any easier to use than before. Maybe I just got really used to the original smart translations being applied when I aimed down the sight. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same experience - I got fairly frustrated at first, as it took a lot more tinkering than before to get it as I liked.

Are the brightness settings the same on both? Just checking.

It definitely took me a while to get used to the new ADS, although I think I finally have, after playing with the delay and secondary sensitivity for a good while. Maybe I just need a little more time with it, but I don't know if it really feels any more natural than the non-ADS smart translator. Anybody else have a similar experience?

Yea, analog movement is where its at. Definitely recommend the Nav+Mouse combo.

If you're used to a controller, the Nav is the way to go. Using the full setup is so intuitive, that as a controller user of many years, it only took two or three matches until things were fluid enough to outperform my controller performance.

I believe that controller would have to be associated with a different profile while on, and so unless a guest or friend is logged in and in your group/party, nobody will be hearing anything.
