Just received my XIM APEX today, updated the firmware with no issues.
I have been using XIM4 with no problems if that helps.
When plugging into my xbox XIM goes through its colors and always lands on flashing red lights, tried new cable to my controller even though it works fine on Xim 4 with no change
Tried rebooting Xbox, tried resetting to factory on the XIM with no change.
I'm using manager app on my PC but also tried the mobile app with the same error (Failure writing XIM APEX (6)
Any help or do I RMA?

Trying this setup now,  I was just using my mouse at 4000 DPI because having it set to 12000 DPI was never a good mix for me. having this  low a sensitivity and still being able to make a full turn has me a bit worried but going to try it out, thanks for the post. 

Thanks Antithesis, I will try it again in a bit and post back my results, that turn radios in 3/4 inches is what I'm looking for to be sure.

So I have been playing around with this XIM4 since I got it a few weeks back and trying to get it configured right with Destiny and still having all kinds of issues with mouse movement speed.
It's taking me multiple scrolls across my mouse pad to make a single rotation, anyone have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? I copied and pasted the config from this thread and the figures look the same but obv I'm missing something.
I am using a Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum and G13 for my keyboard, I'm on X1.
any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

I would like to use my G4/G10/G12/G11 keys to move, i have no use for the mini joystick, the remaing keys on the G13 I would like to bind them the same way I have set up for BF3 when I play on PC, I guess I will watch the videos again, everyone makes it sound easy to do, guess I'm just missing something.

So, I'm having the same issues here, have the G13 and can't get any of the buttons to map correctly, there really should be an instructional video on this to make it easier, i read the above posts but they really make no sense to me, is the G13 supposed to configured while connected to the xbox or the PC?

OK, I don't want to start a new thread and did some searching but can't seem to find the answer, I have a Logitech G13 and am trying to set the bindings on it, I have it plugged into the xbox and somehow i managed to bind w/d/s keys to do things like that they are not supposed to but can't seem to get them to bind correctly, what am i doing wrong when it comes to binding keys to do what I want them to? w/G4 should be walk forward, s/G11 should be walk backwards and so on, but I can't seem to get it to do that.

Agreed, both PC's acted the same way and no one else has had this issue so I'm not really sure what made me go this route but it worked, I updated my first post as well so that anyone looking at this and does have the same issue will see it right off, thanks for your help.

***SOLVED*** OK, just got home and decided to give this thing another chance, still did not work right off, I then went to control panel/devices and printers, found XIM Edge as one of the devices, manually clicked on it and selected to have it uninstalled, then plugged the XIM Edge back in and had it find it's drivers again, the device will now enter PC mode and I should be good to go, just thought I would add this in case it comes up again and else looking for the answer.

I did wait for the chime and also did it before the chime, I also tried it using a rear port just as I tried using a different PC with same results, I see this is not getting me any closer to making this thing work, I will just RMA it, waited almost two weeks for this thing to be delivered and have nothing problems with this product, good idea but obv still has issues.

re- to the post above, I only have the XIM Edge and mini to USB cable plugged into the my PC only, nothing else is plugged into it, am i supposed to have my XBOX controller plugged in?

and I am using Edge Manager version 20121026

I can hear the chime right as the XIM goes to solid blue.

Just tried it on a laptop running windows 7, same results, lights go solid blue but not able to launch PC manager since it's not seeing the device as connected.

I will see if I can try a different PC, already tried a different cable.
