There are some good youtube videos that compare the Tartarus V2 against the Orbweaver.

The main differences are more customization for comfort on the Orbweaver (you can adjust the palm rest, wrist rest and move the thumbstick in or out).  The orbweaver also uses Razer-created mechanical switches vs membrane switches on the Tartarus V2.  Also, the V2 uses v3.0 of the Razer software vs V2.0 for the Orbweaver (doesn't really matter if you're using it strictly for XIM).

That's pretty much it.  One thing to note is the palm rest and wrist rest have a rubber grip that comes off after heavy use (Razer used cheap glue) but can be fixed by super gluing the rubber rests back on (again, lots of youtube videos to fix this).

The rumour is Razer may be releasing a V2 of the Orbweaver which hopefully fixes the rubber palm and wrist rests...but nothing has been confirmed on this.

I had the same issue with the Moto Z2 Play.  It appears to be a phone issue. The issue is resolved with the Oreo update (Android 8.0).  Not sure if the G5S is scheduled to receive the Oreo update though

Try multiplying it by 2 instead.  That should work.

You halved the polling rate so you need to double your sensitivity.

I've extensively tested Off, Common and Default on WW2 and have found Default to be the best.  It offers the best of what Off and Common provide in 1 setting.

I highly recommend trying Default.

Beta / Re: FEEDBACK: CoD and BETA EX1
« on: 06:00 PM - 03/20/18 »
I'll attempt to describe the issues I've been having with EX1 firmware which has caused me to flash back to 0306.  With EX1:

First I'd start with Boost 3, then set my sensitivities to (I use the 2.4 method for CoD WWII):

Hip - 124.80, smoothing 3
ADS - 52, smoothing 3
ADS delay - 0ms (because of 2.4 method)

After experimenting with this setup, I then try out Boost 0, and set my sensitivities to:

Hip - 16.8, smoothing 0
ADS - 7, smoothing 0
ADS delay - 0ms

After playing with this setting, I decide I want to compare it to Boost 3 again, so I switch back to Boost 3 with the above Boost 3 sensitivities.  However, when switching to Boost 3 I find those sensitivities are too fast (inconsistent...first sign of something not being right).  So I adjust Boost 3 to:

Hip - 115.20, smoothing 3
ADS - 48, smoothing 3
ADS delay - 0ms

After playing with Boost 3 for a bit, I decide to try out Boost 1.  I switch to Boost 1 and change sensitivities to:

Hip - 9.6, smoothing 0
ADS - 4, smoothing 0
ADS delay - 0ms

Then I want to switch back to Boost 3 for comparison.  When I do this, this is where things go haywire.  I set Boost 3 to

Hip - 115.20, smoothing 3
ADS - 48, smoothing 3
ADS delay - 0ms

ADS is fine, but my Hip movement is insanely fast at this point.  Any modifications to my Hip sensitivity do nothing.  I unplug and replug the Apex, same thing.  Hip is broken.

If I switch back to any other Boosts, Hip is still broken.  This then forces me to flash my firmware back to 0306.  When I play on 0306, it doesn't feel like Boost 3....feels much better and more consistent.  The sensitivity I dial in stays that was every time and feels silky smooth.

I of course save my settings every time I make a boost and sensitivity change in the app.

I hope this helps.

ObsIV - have you been able to reproduce this issue on your end?

Have you tried using a different sub-Config for your Boost experiments so you can flip back and forth between them without stopping gameplay?

No, I only used 1 config and modified that one config each time.

Even still, if I stick with Boost 3 and modify sensitivity, it's still not consistent.  If I set a specific sensitivity on Boost 3 then power cycle the Apex, that sensitivity feels inconsistent after that reboot.  I don't have that issue with 0306.

After all back to 0306.Got the feeling EX1 messed up everything.

I kind of agree with this.  I find if you mess around too much with this firmware too much, things start becoming unstable.

Can you be more specific? There aren't that many changes between 0306 and EX1 concerning the amount of code that changed.

Can you provide a list of steps you took that caused things to become unstable so that we can track down why you are experiencing this?

I'm hoping ObsIV sees these last few posts to see that EX1 is buggy and has something weird going on when switching between boosts and sensitivities.

Glad I'm not the only one....

Normal: 120
Medium: 60
Low: 30
Off: Immediate

I think this makes the most sense.

To answer the initial question, I have to say Boost 3 with smoothing in the 3-7 range.

Not sure if you saw my other post, but last night I spent about 3 hours with the EX1 firmware going back and forth between boost values.  When I got back to Boost 3, it appeared the Hip sensitivity values were no longer working.  I had to revert back to 0306 as I couldn't correct the issue.

I'll try re-flashing to EX1 to see if things have gone back to normal.

0306 is still the best for cod ww2.  Not sure why.... I'd love to hear headhunter's thoughts.

0306 is identical to Boost level 3.

That is what I understood as well.  But over the past few hours, I've been switching boost levels along with sensitivity.  When I ended up back at boost 3, hip was broken.  The sensitivity I used on hip boost 3 no longer worked....ads was fine...very weird.  I power cycled the Apex...same deal.  I ended up flashing back to 0306,and the hip sensitivity issues went away.

I don't mind replicating the issue and pulling a log for you to see what's happening.

Once I discovered the bug I mentioned in this firmware, I ended up reverting back to 0306 since it EX1 felt broken at any boost level.

I've encountered an issue where when I switch between boost modes then switch back to boost 3,the hip sensitivity is crazy high and I have to reduce my sensitivity on hip A LOT, but ADS is fine.

For example on 0306 firmware, I run hip 144 and ADS 60 on CoD ww2. Right now with boost on 3, hip 144 is unplayable but ADS 60 is fine.

I used to play at 60 and 144 no problems... But for some reason when switching between the different boosts may have broken something when going back to boost 3.
