I play with this combo. I map all my games the same.
NAV:
A or Jump Stick down
B or Cancel Nav bumper
X or Reload/Use Trigger
Directional stays as directional
Other 3, 2 little ones and big PS get mapped to Start, menu and Xbox

Mouse:
RT or Fire/Shoot Left Mouse
LT or ADS Right Mouse
Y or Swap Middle Mouse/Scroll Whl down
Left Stick Down or Sprint Mouse Wheel forward
Right Stick down or Zoom/mealee Mouse Wheel back
L n R bumpers get mapped to 2 side buttons

Secondary mappings
L n R Stick down also get mapped to L n R Mouse Wheel Buttons
2 extra buttons next to left mouse get mapped to L n R D Pad
Third Forward Side button mapped to healing. Up or down DPad depending on game.

Thatís my base setup. If a game only supports hold Left Stick down to sprint the forward mouse wheel wonít work as itís only good for toggle on/off.  I do have to adjust accordingly from time to time. Only gripe I have with G502 is the L n R wheel buttons. You really need to push L or R to get them to click. Seems like  a lot of travel.

As for dial menus. I have same issues everyone else does. Iím getting better a small mouse moves to use them.

Thanks Mist. Thatís what Iím trying to understand. I know it takes hours to train. If thereís only a half hour to do so but it takes 12. Are you saying training mode will need to be played 24 times or maybe even 48? You donít have to answer that. Just curious and appreciate the time you guys put into this stuff to help us.

Iíll just say this. I bought out all the Navs at my local GS so if one broke Iíd have replacements. I find Nav perfect. A click stick ( A), 2 front buttons ( B & X), D pad 2 small buttons for start & menu. Big PS button for Xbox button.

R, L, LB, RB and Y go on mouse.

Would a new smart translator automatically over write the current one?
Training mode only allows player a half hour. Is that enough time?

BioShock Infinite
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection
Killing Floor 2
Mass Effect 3
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2
Styx: Shards of Darkness
Gears of War 4
Darksiders
Crackdown 3
Ark: Survival Evolved

i dont know which are supported but hey thought i should make a list
Anyone try Fortnight. Another Epic/Unreal engine game?

What about a USB number pad? Not a full KB but should be enough keys to get the job done.

My Xim 4 doesn't keep the last Config used as the last one used. Every time I quit playing when I go back the Destiny Config is what's loaded. Is there a default option I'm missing somewhere?. My Xim 3 never did this. Last game played is what was always loaded when it turned on.

Not a big deal but kind of a nuisance.

There's newly introduced bug with the last Destiny patch where frame rates tank when you're in party chat. More peeps the worse it gets. Getting out of party chat and into game/fire team chat is the current work around. Bungie is aware of the issue and working on a fix.

I had the same problem. I was on a hub and a 10' USB extension cord. Had to remove both. A 6' extension cord works fine. I guess I was over extending the USB max cord length by a few feet.

Reading up on some other mic/chat issues. The wireless head unit for the X41s is drawing power from the wall. Since I use it for both X1 and 360 and just swap TOS cables on it.

I've got some ideas to try. Maybe a cable problem as I use a regular 6ft USB extension cable then that short USB Micro that came with the system. I'll have to try some other cables and see.

I'm having the same problem too and I have the beta. Above is a cross post from my orginal problem of controller disconnecting that's been updated.

Ok four hours of play time in. No disconnects but now I have the Dr. Who Delek robotic voice chat going on. I've had to switch my Kinect back on for the mic. That's wonky in it's own right.

Setup:
Official MS X1 Cont.
XIM4
Sony Nav wired
Logi G9X Mouse
Official MS headset adapter
TB EarForce X41 Wireless

When I unplug the headset adapter everything is fine. Once it's plugged into controller the chat goes all "Exterminate! Exterminate!". I swear I hear that. ;)  Even with Kinect set as mic so I can't leave it plugged in. Unplug it and chat instantly goes back to normal. It's all chat (in game and private party).

Now I'm at a cross roads. Roll back firmware for good chat but random disconnects or keep it and use wonky Kinect mic.

I say wonky because two nights ago game chat with the Kinect was fine but nobody could hear me in a private room. Last night was just the opposite. Game chat no one could hear me but private was fine.
