To me it's HORRIBLE.  I'm going to try to give it a chance, but it's bad.  The lag comp is atrocious, the hit detection is pathetic.  Spawns are horrible also.  To me the game is one big cluster f*ck.  It sort of evens the playing field when it comes to skill.  The majority of skilled players are struggling, and noobs and average players are playing pretty decently because they can take a lot of bullets and still live.  COD Ghosts actually showed the huge skill difference when it came to very good players with good aim, and average to bad players.  That's why most average and bad players camped in that game.  They didn't have a chance against someone with good aim.  This game it doesn't matter how good your aim is because you'll get multiple hit markers, and when you do kill a few people they spawn behind you and drop you.  It's really bad right now

AMEN... If their goal was to tighten the skill gap, mission accomplished. In every other COD I'm near unstoppable. I can't do much in AW. Hopefully some serious patches are coming otherwise I'll be on Halo (and I'm not very keen on Halo...)



Went back to play Ghosts and went 36-5 in my first game with one of the default classes the game gives you.... Something just isn't right with AW

All my friends say this game is the worst COD, and they'are only going to finish SP campaign and then drop it.   

I think I agree. I don't know what it is... maybe it's just lag but I die very quick! I have a few great games but this is ridiculous.

I've noticed I haven't seen the game switch hosts ever. And regardless of appearing on the map there appears to be a drastic benefit to not using a suppressor since guns deal more damage without it (and the lag makes that damage count)

.... it's not looking good for this game.

So after playing all night yesterday, I definitely have not reached above a 2kd...

Couple things
- Settings just don't feel right yet, not TOO used to the exo movement either.
- I get shot in the back all the time, why? Because you can't hear footsteps at all in this game.
- Haven't found a good assault rifle I like. My best gun is the KF5 Submachine gun


I really hope they do something about footsteps in this game.

I use a k110 for XIM still, works GREAT for me. I had a Razer BlackWidow for a while but it would ghost on me... even though it's "anti-ghosting"

My scores are good enough without a mechanical that it doesn't warrant switching... Maybe ask for a monitor or a mouse or headset?

I played with the controller and got around a 1.5kd but I definitely couldn't get the hang of the jetpack boosting so with a keyboard I should have better movement

I sure hope I can get over a 2kd in AW. I just got my XIM4 today so I'll be playing this week.

Blops1: 3.1
blops2: 2.75
ghosts: 2.4kd

and I don't play campy at all.

I'm like you, I'm good with the controller as well, in fact I get a 2.0+ easily with either.
I just prefer to play with XIM because when I find myself dying while playing with the controller I always think, "I could have had him if I was playing with XIM."

Also +1 for wanting a decent steering wheel setup.

I see that the Logitech G110 Keyboard is listed under NOT compatible with the XIM4.

However I have the G110 and used it with the XIM3 and it works flawlessly.  I assume something has changed this?  Should I be in the market for a new keyboard??  Thanks for your time.

I'm in the same boat. Love my G110 and it worked great with the XIM3 but it won't work on XIM4? Strange...

As of now, most of us wouldn't know.

I remember reading that the way USB inputs are read on xim4 are different so it should support almost any mouse+keyboard though. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll admit it took some time before the Ghost ST felt right for me. But now it feels perfect again.
Just keep using it until you're accustomed is all I can say.

if you have a steering wheel try it please... I'll be getting my console tonight.

I've always connected my xim3 to 360 using a steering wheel as the controller... wondering if this will work on xbox one.

It's upsetting that there will likely be a patch for the Edge on the newer consoles and not XIM3.
When I bought the XIM3 I thought I was paying more than the Edge because I had a nifty screen to do my settings and tweaks. (Rational thinking if you ask me.)

Yeah, I'll probably buy a XIM 4 just because I realize my older product will be phased out however it does bother me that XIM Edge owners are going to have this benefit that I do not simply because they purchased the cheaper device.
If a beta will be released, I'd like to see it for both XIM 3 and Edge.... and anyone serious about this device (which I think you have to be to buy it) will upgrade to the XIM 4 to have the new features.

It's really big and got a hard surface which works perfectly with my G500.

Having used $20-50 mouse pads from Razer and other companies I was most impressed with this $6 and some change mouse pad.
