you need to have a bluetooth dongle or onboard and enable it.
go to device manager and add device and scan for bluetooth devices,
your xim will be detected and added to the list of bluetooth enabled devices.
once pairled, you should be able to connect to the xim and configure it using the manager.
the usb portion only is used for upgrading and restoring to factory settings.
