Hardware Compatbility / Best Navigation Controller?
« on: 12:34 PM - 11/02/20 »
Thinking about swapping my keyboard for a Nav controller (nunchuck), wondering if anyone can recommend me one. Iíve been searching the Internet and really only seems like I have a few options, thinking about picking up a PlayStation NAV controller..

Any preference to analog sticks? Currently using a half keyboard, wondering what youíd recommend for joystick? Not sure whatís best compatibility with XIM

acceleration  :)

So coming from PC, I normally play as linear as possible. If I were you use more acceleration would that help with AA?

I literally play better on PC without the AA.. Really need to find decent settings cuz Iím a @#$% potato on console.

Title says it all, just looking for community opinion on which mouse/ DPI gives the best feel and strong AA control. Currently using my FinalMouse Ultralight 2, and they are capped at 3200 DPI. Been thinking about replacing it, just curious to everyone elseís experiences with 16k DPI settings, and which will overall improve in game AA for Apex Legends. Canít seem to get my settings just right, and the community seems to be split when it comes to their setups.
according to what I understood:
the smaller the DPI, the stronger the aim assist will be it is generally recommended to play in 1600-4000 to have the aim assist higher decreases it

I thought this also, but after going from 3200 to 1600, and doubling my XIM settings, my aim still felt a lot slower than before? Ideas on getting the same sense?

Try these settings at dpi 1200, but the aa is too strong at this dpi

Or try marias 3200dpi beat of both worlds imo

send me your config? cuz the video you posted was from before the update I believe

Shared Configs / Apex Legends Settings help?
« on: 06:34 AM - 10/19/20 »
Only been playing a short while, been messing around with the settings but having a difficult time deciding on what kind of sens to use. Currently using a FM Ultralight v2, great mouse, but dpi is capped @3200, and max polling rate is 500hz.

Iíll be honest with you guys Iím quite new to the game, and there seems to be a pretty steep learning curve to it. A lot of different decisions to be made... Been playing with absolute crap settings as theyíre custom, and was really hoping someone could help provide me with superior settings cuz as of now I canít aim for @#$%, and would like to have a strong aim assist cuz I suck lol.

- Ingame Settings
- XimApex Settings
- Curious to what people bind keys to/ is it possible to strafe character while looting?
- FoV ingame

Any helpful tips would be appreciated!

- Also looking for teammates from the west coast who can steer me in the right direction when it comes to play style, game sense, and just general info on becoming better.. Iím currently gold 4, been playing for just under 2 weeks and I feel as if thereís a lot to the game I may be missing..

Before this I havenít played video games in years, and Apex is definitely a different style of Battle Royals than Iím use to.

Thanks in advance!
