I have heard things that it adds some input delay. I would like to know him this so Iím not running my XIM and mouse at 500hz but itís actually running something like 250hz. This could lead to aiming problems if running two different hz ratios

I also noticed this. When connecting to XIM link  from apex (500hz) My sensitivity seemed to have doubled. Any explanations?

DONT LISTEN TO ANYTHING I AM SAYING RIGHT NOW LOL

I keep going back and forth between my old settings and Mikes new settings I am sorry I need a day to figure out which I like better, they are both very good though TBH
Where are these setting everyone is talking about?

I only messed around in the training ground with mikkis but with denieds settings you can literally just snap onto people and then aim assist doesnít let you miss itís wild the spitfire becomes even more op with these settings :D

I just played around with those denied settings you posted and that @#$% was no joke.. i was slaying teams by myself in hot drops with any gun didnt matter. AA worked in your favor and seemed way more consistent/ snappy well done fellas. Will try occulus settings later tn

Was hesitant on using SAB. Are you finding 100 on ads to works well?

Is there a way to map health/ordinance/ping dial menu to the thumb analogue joystick on the razer orbweaver/tartarus so I can use it to move the dial while holding the key down? similar to how controllers work.

6
still cant decide if I like common sync with no SAB, or default sync with ~50 sab. thoughts on this?

I'll pm you.

XIM Link / Re: xim link polling rate delay?
« on: 12:44 PM - 04/24/19 »
1000Hz should be used. With lower polling rates the data is sent multiple times to fill the empty packets. On 500Hz each packet is sent twice and thats why the sensitivity is doubled. Apex does not do this natively. This happens only through Link.
Thank you for the reply! So if I am understanding this correctly. Xim link should not be used at 500 hz; and as a result, I should set my mouse and xim apex to 1000hz?

You're more likely to see jitter with 1000 over 500. Micromovements seem easier as 500 sometimes takes more force which may make you overgo.

I've played at  4k/500 sync off for a month 14k/1000hz for a month and 4k/500 with default sync for a week. What I can tell you is that 14k/1000hz when set up probably will feel almost identical to 4k/500 with default sync. I notice that the 4k/500 with a default sync is more floaty but it feels better. As for the ADS, I was using a 6 sensitivity before and now I am using a 7. 6 worked fine with sync off but with a default sync I find that 7 with SAB are pretty much the same but 7 feels easier to pull to headshots.

SAB is a game changer. Everything else is preference. I can play exactly the same on 14k/1000 as I can with 4k/500 but if you turn off SAB, you'll quickly see the difference in autoaim.
what exactly is SAB? Keep hearing it over and over again but canít find it in the app.

XIM Link / xim link polling rate delay?
« on: 07:38 PM - 04/15/19 »
What polling rate should be used with xim link? I read somewhere that there is a built in delay. So 1000 hz will really be 500hz, and 500 hz will be 250 hz, etc. Is this true?
I have noticed switching from xim apex to xim link speeds up sensitivity substantially with no settings changed. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

XIM Link / XIM link doubling sensitivity
« on: 10:00 AM - 04/13/19 »
Before I started using XIM link, I was using 500 Hz at 12K dpi with a sensitivity of 40.

Moving to XIM link I decided to lower to 4K dpi and just raise the sensitivity x3 to 120 to keep the sensitivity symmetrical to my previous set up due to me lowering the dpi; But now itís around twice as fast..
I found Dividing it by 2 down to 60 sensitivity makes it feel equal to my previous set up I was comfortable with

Any reason the link is doubling sensitivity or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you!

fixed the problem and it works now.
Only thing is that it feels very slow. like low sensitivity. Mouse and apex is at 500hz with 4k dpi. only remapped the keyboard buttons to WASD etc.
Is there something im not doing right or is it supposed to be slow/low sensitivity?
thank you!

I guess that's subjective, it does not feel slow to me - have you watched any of my vids, does it seem to match what you see?

Ill measure my cm 360 next time im on to be sure.

In the meantime id bump it up to whatever feels comfortable for you
I watched your gameplay and you seem to be very responsive and can snap across the screen/ 90/180 quickly. To do this I need to move my mouse across my whole mousepad quiet alot ( maybe 8 inches or so).

XIM Link / xim link with m65 sniper button
« on: 12:15 PM - 03/20/19 »
The sniper button on my m65 mouse cannot be bound to a key since the m65 has no on board memory for key binds. It also wont be recorded on xim manager app when i press it (it just slows down my dpi for "sniping").

If i were to use xim link on my pc, with corsair iCUE open, would I be able to bind the sniper button to a key such as (.) and have it be recorded on apex manager so it can be used in game as a bound mouse button finally?

Thank you!
