Holy crap you're a god! Thank you. Could you run me by a brief tutorial/what it does exactly so I could understand a bit more? And also the specific insulator you use? Thanks again.

Probably would be weird/hard to implement but I support this request 100%

Hey guys, so I bought an elgato HD60s. It's great and I'm an avid user of Apex. However, to record voices through elgato on xbox, you need something called chat link or to change the output of chat to speakers which is not a very good method. With chat link, you simply plug an aux cord into the controller; One wire splits off into a male jack, which plugs into the elgato. The other split turns into a female port for your 3.5 mm headphone jack to plug into so you can hear sound. The controller connected wirelessly works great, but the problem lies within you being required to plug the controller into the apex hub causing an irritating buzz that both you and the party can hear. Now, I've thought of maybe getting the turtle beach 600 wireless headset that connects straight to yuor xbox without needed an extra thing to plug in but I was wondering if any of you wonderful people here on the forums uses elgato with xim apex and wanted to hear your possible work arounds OR what you use to record/stream voices! Thank you!

All of the keys you've mentioned are modifier keys.

Some keyboards don't support binding of Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Cmd etc because they're set to a state where they are awaiting the next keypress instead of passing through Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Cmd etc. The same thing happened on Stinky Board foot pedals.

I suggest checking your configuration in Logitech Gaming Software for the mouse and keyboard. If you're using a gaming profile, reset the kb and mouse to default when using XIM.

Scroll up and down on the mouse can be set to keyboard keys in LGS, though they should register by default with XIM Apex.
They were able to be assigned previously with no issues. I'm gonna try a different keyboard and if that works well... that'll give me an excuse to buy a better keyboard lol

The keypad enter press will need to be resolved for your other keys to work. Try to press and release this key a few times or remove the key and check for whatever may be causing the press. In the past, stuck mouse DPI buttons have also sent keyboard events like this that blocked input when assigning keys.
Which key exactly is the keypad enter? I've never seen that before and for sure will try to fix it. I assume it's one of the enter keys.

It looks like this is a duplicate topic. Let's continue working on this in the topic linked below.

UPDATE I factory reset my Apex and it still is happening.
I just registered an account on this forum so forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this. I have been trying to assign the left ctrl key, left shift (happens with right ctrl and right shift as well), and mouse scroll up and mouse scroll down, and with many attempts, it has not worked. I've updated firmware, tried different profiles but nothing so far. My last resort is factory resetting the apex however, I would like to keep that as my last option. I know I could copy and paste the profiles I have made already but I'd rather find a fix first. Also, sometimes when I click the box to assign a certain button, the words 'KPadEnt' pop up for some reason. I've googled KPadEnt and KPadEnt Xim Apex but nothing popped up. If anyone knows how to fix these issues or knows what's going on it would be greatly appreciated! My keyboard is Logitech G413 Carbon and my mouse is Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum. I play on Xbox with 500hz polling rate. I have messed around with settings on the logitech program on PC for both but I have NOT unassigned these keys or blocked their input in any way. The games I have already assigned ctrl, shift, mouse scroll up, and mouse scroll down function as normal. I just can't assign them again to any profile. I also use the android for my Note 9 apk with the latest firmware. Both the apex and the apk have the same firmware, the latest available.
I ATTACHED A VIDEO LINK SHOWING EVERYTHING I'VE EXPLAINED HERE!
