If I just connect it to the micro, then my friends hear my shooting, I lowered both the volume and the sensitivity of the microphone and everything is useless, as soon as I start shooting my friends hear everything, but if I connect according to the scheme described above, everything works fine, the only thing is  the ports on the mixempe are busy, that is, my microphone translates the entire shooting into an audio chat

- That makes no sense, definitely something is wrong with your connections.

I just made a connection according to this video, if you connect without a ground loop, then a squeak is heard in your ears, when you connect the ground loop and connect to the mixamp, the microphone works when shooting and everyone hears my shooting, I have already tried cables with two black rings, everything is the same

Thanks, I'll try it and let you know how I figure it out.  And advise a microphone for the Xbox series x, so that you can connect it to the mixamp and not be afraid that it will not work, without a bunch of wires, are there any?

Only ModMic Uni (3.5mm) or Audio Technica ATGM2. Still needs the Y Splitter male TRRS to females headphone out and mic in.

Alan thanks for the advice.  I managed to connect a microphone according to this scheme. 
  You will need two 3.5mm cables with three black lines and one audio splitter.

   First, open the mixamp settings on your computer and go to stream.  Mute game sound, chat sound, and microphone.  Leave the aux all the way up.

   Second, plug your blue yeti into the aux port.

   Thirdly, plug the splitter into the headphone port on the mixer and connect your headphones to the splitter.

   Fourth, connect the audio cable from the streaming port back to the microphone port on the splitter.

   Voila!  This should be all you need to get your Yeti to finally work on Xbox!

That scheme is redundant and you are missing the Stream and aux port. you don't need to go through the MixAmp (AuxPort to Streamport) to feed the mic, just connect the mic directly to the Y splitter and regulate the volume.

Alan, please advise, I have jds atom, change it to ifi zen can?  Or stay on jds atom+mixamp

JDS Atom is a very clean precise amplifier it sounds "open" and detail amp, very transparent it doesn't changes the sound characteristics coming from the headphone.

iFi ZEN CAN is different, is more intimate vocals (midrange - foot steps) sounds closer to us and is more pleasant to hear music (game soundtrack) and more dense sweet bass (low range) which improves explosions and ambience in games.

If your headphones had a very edgy high treble, ZEN CAN could make it more smooth and gentle on that region at the same time if your headphone was open and give you nice wide soundstage, it will be reduce by ZEN CAN.

This is the trailer, you have to watch the movie to see if you like it. 

Again broken record, what improve significantly your sound will be a better DAC, MixAmp is a funnel of quality.

my ears are dt900pro x, so I think it makes sense to buy ifi zen can or stay on jds atom

How to Connect Blue Yeti to Xbox Console

All right, is going to be a mess... 

First, Blue Yeti is a USB mic, which is not compatible with Xbox Series X meaning USB doesn't inputs your microphone signal(your voice) to XBX directly through USB connection as it should.

Most USB mics has a headphone out which pretty much outputs an analog signal with your voice, so you can hear yourself and monitor your voice.

So, what we do is connect Blue Yeti to XB USB just for power, and take that headphone output (your voice) and put it on MixAmp microphone input. Two issues pops out.

1. MixAmp uses a TRRS headset input, meaning headphone and mic use one connector, so you need a Y splitter to separate your headphone output and microphone input.

Connect male plug of the TRRS Y splitter to MixAmp Headset input.
Connect your headphone to the female Y splitter headphone out.
Connect your BlueYeti headphone output to the female Y splitter mic in, here it comes the second issue (2).

2. When we feed a microphone input with a wire coming from an audio output signal... this signal can be too loud, so you require to lower that signal volume significantly, use BlueYeti headphone volumen output, not microphone gain.

All these cables goes from one source to another device, might introduce a buzz, you might need a ground loop isolator to get rid of the buzz. One on Blue Yeti headphone output might be enough.

So yeah, you need Y headphone splitter for the MixAmp headset input.

Sorry it can't be more simple, but this is pretty much the only way you can connect a decent microphone with the Xbox consoles, either MixAmp headset input or your controller headset input.

Sure, which MixAmp are you using, what input and Blue yeti is the silver model?

mixamp pro gen 3, Blue Yeti Blackout , cables used jack 3.5 to jack 3.5 two black rings, the noise did not disappear, I tried jack 3.5 to jack 3.5 three black rings, the same noise does not disappear.

Thanks Alan for your answer.  Mixamp is very convenient in terms of chat, I can always turn my friends or the game louder, but to buy a DAC with a mixamp, I have to part, what is the easiest way to connect the DAC, my headphone amplifier on xbox now?  Or is there a way to connect to leave the mixamp in conjunction with the DAC?
Tell us about Hifiman Sundara headphones, are they better than DT and Sennheiser?

I already did it, on comment above. Sundara is on another league.

DAC can be connected to a console, by using an optical input. To get optical output you need either a HDMI Audio Extractor or a TV with Optical Toslink out.

I don't recommend use Sundara's with MixAmp because is very limited it doesn't gets all the resolution the headphone can deliver.

I use the DELL S2721DGF monitor, I somehow tried to connect it through the extractor, but I didn’t succeed, just you advised me.  Thank you for the answer.  I really like the sound of the dt 900 pro x, I think if you connect a DAC it will sound even better.

Congrats! those are really good reference neutral headphones, solid and defined mid-range performance (footsteps) with detailed highs and quick bass, non-intrusive yet enjoyable. Its stereo imaging and sound-stage is way above any gaming headset, delivers a very nice and detail separation and speed on the bass.

The thing with beyerdynamic even with DT900 Pro X, these are "bright" (high frequencies can be tiresome), even though these aren't as bright and harsh like the DT990 Pro, if you are not getting ear fatigue you should stick with 900 Pro X.

HD560S are also a neutral analytical headphone, different flavor than DT900 Pro X, highs are way more easy to listen for longer time and its soundstage is bit wider than beyer dynamics but not as detail. Sound separation stereo imaging are similar in both.

Midrange, might be one thing that HD560S does a bit different, this frequency range (footsteps) sounds more open, like hearing speakers:
DT900X midrange/foosteps sounds like the source of sound is a 4"/10cm  in front of you.
HD560S sound source is a 1.5 feet / 50 cm in front of you.

These means while on DT900X is easier to hear things very close to you on HD560S gives you better surrounding awareness.

On FPS I will say both are fantastic but, for the nature of the game I think: DT900X are great for CoD due its CQC bias and HD560S have an edge on Battlefield, where the gunfights are more midrange/long.

Comfort is the one thing HD560S does better than DT900X IMO. HD560s are very lightweight and rest on your head without any clamping force, and its ear pads goes around your hear, DT's for large ears tends to go over a little bit.

In short, it won't be an upgrade, more like a sideway. HD560S are great value but its detail IMO is bit back compare with DT900X however...

A big detail funnel that is not allowing to get the most of your DT900X is that Astro MixAmp. If you want to get the most and unleash DT900X potential, an audiophile entry level DAC is a great upgrade.

If you like Beyerdynamic firm and you want a more comfortable headphone(no clamping force), easier to listen for longer time yet in the same detail and soundstage, Tygr 300R is the way to go.

If you want an upgrade then Hifiman Sundara is the answer.

Hello Alan.  I bought DT 900 PRO X headphones, I use them with Xbox series X + mixamp + jds atom, does it make sense to switch to other sennheiser hd 560s ears?  DT I am very satisfied.

Yes, you can but you might need the ADC adapter (Analog 3.5mm to Optical).

All right.

I don't know if MixAmp TR Game/Chat Mix knob works without Optical input. I don't think so.

MixAmp mixes two audio sources, game(Optical) and Chat Voice (USB). New consoles lost this functionality, instead these two audio sources are handled by the XBox side, at the Volume Options.

Only way to get Optical back is by using HDMI Audio Extractor, but there isn't HDM2.1 yet, only 2.0b which doesn't gives you [email protected], VRR, instead: 1440p/[email protected] only.

Because now XB and PS can do Chat/Game Mix on the console, and even offer digital Equalizers... all the MixAmp TR models are now obsolete, Astro haven't acknoweldge that (to sold all leftover units, my guess) they are moving to the controller attached mixamp version.

If you want to keep using your MixAmp, and added a best DAC and Amp, there is a way but MixAmp is pretty much an unnecesary audio funnel.

You will get best sound by connecting your hi-fi DAC directly to the controller by getting an ADC 3.5mm Audio to Optical converter (on this thread, earlier).

Setting everything as follows:
[Controller]-[Y Headphone mic splitter]
[Y Mic in]-[Mic]
[Y Headphone Out]-[3.5mm male to male]-[ADC converter]-[Optical cable]-[EL DAC Optical In]
[EL DAC]-[RCA cables]-[AMP RCA In]
[AMP Headphone In]-[Headphones]
All Game/Chat Mix done on XB settings.
Headphone EQ on the Dolby Atmos App.

The other way (not recommended) to keep using your MixAmp and added EL DAC and Amp at the end, is putting the ADC converter, on the MixAmp Headphone Out. (You will need a Y Headphone / Mic Splitter).

For keep [email protected] and VRR, there is not other way -at the moment- that using Controller headphone out.

If you still want to have a physical working Knob, then you should use something like Astro M80 MixAmp, and setting up everything as mention before.
