According to who? All gaming headsets are crap. What you're paying for is the brand, not the quality. Razer suffers from the same disparity.

You're far better off buying a 2013 MixAmp (the last good MixAmp, it's also cross-platform) and BYO audiophile-grade headphones from Philips, Sennheiser or Audio-Technica. Bang on a ModMic or a Boom Pro and you'll get far better audio for less than the outrageous price Astro charges for their sub-standard gear.

No truer words have ever been spoken concerning gaming headsets. I, too, have the 2013 Astro Mixamp Pro and have recently paired it with the Sennheiser GSP 600 headset. HUGE upgrade to the A40. Hope that helps.

Best way to fix the problem is plug your m+kb into your PC regularly and stop abusing the aim assist + mouse on PC. I get why we do this for console, but for PC that's just a stupid level of low...

I use XIM myself for 10 years, since XIM 1, Iīm one of the first registered users on the forums, ever, and I love XIM and Obsiv Work because it allows people with physical limitations to enjoy their gaming experience; it also allows people that was "born with a mouse" to adapt to console play.

 But I will never understand people going on console with a mouse and using Aim ASsist. And even more shocking is people getting excited about a guy like this. You should all be able to do this with aim assist. This is why you donīt play PC, because you canīt really aim with a mouse. you use XIM just to have an advantage, not really because of being your "Prefered input device".

And just before someone says the usual "XIM is not like PC mouse behaviour"; yes I know, but it gives you enough control to beat everyone if you are good, WITHOUT Aim Assist. Donīt be a cheater please. I have almost 60% Locus accuracy on Black Ops 3 PS4 and I donīt use aim assist (that weapon has no AA anyway). But I played Quake on PC and I never looked to go on console to have unfair advantages.

As much as I love Obsiv, mist and XIM, for years; I hope next gen this madness ends. Devs are developing special tools to spot it anyway, I canīt go on detail but soon you will know about it.

Have fun "hacking" on console (and on PC with Xim Apex for aim assist + mouse too), while you can.

RML all the way. Personally I turn off the boost for ADS and turn off AA/TA in-game for the best possible “close to PC” feeling. This may not work for everyone as I know most people prefer some AA. There are other configs on this forum but some of them are rediculous.

I was interested in this thread until you just said that console APEX Legends can be made to feel similar to it's counterpart on PC. You've clearly never played this game on both PC and console with a XIM. Turn mechanics in the console version of this game is such utter trash it's not even worth it to play the game on console if you own a decent PC.

When my G13 broke, I switched the the Tartarus v2... loved it at first, but the joystick/d-pad broke within a week of use... got a replacement from Amazon, that one was broken out of the box... got a third one from Amazon, joystick/d-pad broke within 3 days. Got a 4th one from Best Buy... joystick/d-pad broke within a day.

Moral of the story? Pay the extra premium and get the Azeron - or get better at WASD. Learn from my troubles and save yourself a lot of headaches and money. Or don't ;)
