XIM APEX Discussions / Xim apex won’t let me make a new config

When I go on the Xim apex manager app and go to try and make a new config the option is grayed out and won’t let me select it. My firmware is up to date and I have deleted and redownloaded the app and the option is still not working.

Followed the startup guide as requested but when I try to connect the apex to my phone it says apex not found.

As someone who has played with a controller my whole life im exited to try something new with the Apex but Im wondering if the apex will really make me a better player.  just hoping you xim owners can let me know if you noticed any difference when you switched.

You can make macros with the G502, but, I just picked one up too, so not sure how intricate you can go. The Titan 2 would let you do all of that and more I believe.

So by macros do you mean I could set something up to where when I  press a button on my mouse it would think that I pressed two different buttons on my controller like B then LB?

Sorry in advance if this is hard to understand im not really sure how to word it. So I Just ordered my Apex and also received my g502. I plan on mostly playing fortnite and was wondering if the buttons on the mouse can be programmed to do certain tasks like build walls,floors etc. or will the buttons on the side only be able to be binded to already existing buttons on the xbox controller like L1 and R1 etc.

Aiming is fine via a Xim and turning is really zippy. The AA bubble can mess with targeting as it can make it harder to enter the hitbox, but AA can be disabled if need be.

Check out thepr0's Fortnite settings on these forums. The guy's top 175 worldwide with hundreds of wins and knows his stuff.

Have never owned a Xim before and plan on purchasing an Apex when it releases. Im looking at getting a Corsair K55 and Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum to go with my Xim. Although both these are on the compatibility list im concerned that both these together may draw too much power. If anyone could let me know if these products should work with the apex or not it would be much appreciated. Also sorry if this is a noob question.

Just wanted to know why you would spend soo much in a rubber dome keyboard? Just use a Nav or get a cheap Aukey mechanical keyboard. (just a suggestion) with keyboard they like to add a big price tag with no extra perks

I dont know if I would consider $48 so much but I get what you’re saying. I have looked at cheaper AUKEY keyboards but my main issue with those is all are said to be very loud. And I would prefer a quiter keyboard but if there are quiet cheaper alternatives to the K55 that you know of im all ears.
