XIM APEX Discussions / Re: Razer Synapse Use/Support
« on: 08:34 AM - 09/21/18 »
I am using a Razr Tartarus V2 on Xbox One, and I've had issues with ghosting and rollover since day 1. Mostly when sprinting in several games, it loses signal for a spit second even when toggled and my character abruptly stops moving forward.

Supposedly you can run Synapse and this will eliminate ghosting/rollover but that's when hooked up to PC. My Apex is plugged into my Xbox USB and then my Razr is plugged into the 3port. Any ideas/suggestion to somehow use Synapse using the Apex?

Using tartarus v2 never had an issue on rollovers and ghosting too..

With this I never get the red blink light. Feels good. Max speed 98%

I've sent you message mate, is this a ballistic curve? or full set up?

does anyone tried this keyboard? will this work on apex?

This thread contains settings for different aim styles.
Make sure you're running the latest firmware (20180402) which you can find here.
Flash Upgrade Instructions can be found on the same thread.
Remember, your Xim Apex has to run at 1000 Hz.

My preference for hardware, other people might prefer other mouses and keyboards.

Logitech g502 -- 12.000 DPI and 1000 HZ
I don't think a specific keyboard matters.

If you don't have a 12.000 dpi mouse calculate your new DPI http://www.csgosetup.com/dpi-calculator/

Replace the value "93" with the sensitivity you want to change. The value under the tool will be the new sensitivity, input this in your Xim Settings

Hi Justh1n

I have tried all of your settings but its laggy, there is a little delay when we stop moving mouse physically and when aim stops on screen. If on the same settings i play Terrorist Hunt, aiming seems to be very responsive and gives you a feel of tight aiming. How can we achieve it in Multiplayer too?

My settings are 12000dpi, 1000Hz, Apex firmware is 20180501.

try these..

I would try calibration on the hard pad first (holding down CPI button, until the lights flash white), and then adjusting the lift off to be a little higher in SteelSeries Engine
How much lift off? Any idea??

Currently Running on this settings:

In Game:

MOUSE: SteelSeries Rival 600
4000 DPI
500 HZ

Y/X: 1.00

Y/X: 1.25

NO Curves for HIP and ADS

for the mousepad I use SteelSeries QCK Prism the cloth side, I will give full review for this mousepad after a week or 2, as of right now I'm loving this pads because its dual sided.

Did about 2 plus hours of terrorist hunt last night and tweeked my settings some. Came up with

Sensitivity: 7
No curve
Common sync
Xy: 1.6 (great for recoil and quick adjustments up and down depending on a crouching or standing target

Sensitivity: 30
Everything else the same.

In game setting I set vertical to 65 and left stuck dz to 27 for slow walking. Everything else is set at the recommended settings

Note mouse is still 4000 dpi 500 polling rate.

Why 65 Vertical? I will try today and give you my feedback thanks

I was wondering if I could get some help. I'm getting back into Rainbow on the XBOX platform. I've had my Xim Apex since it came out and had the Xim4 prior. However, I'm a little confused on some of these settings everyone is referring too. This is what I play with.

Logitech G903
12,000 DPI
Cloth and hard pad
DPI varies depending on game
Razer Elite Orbweaver Chroma
smoothing rate at 7
Sensitivity at 200
ADS At 175

Now, these rates were for playing ghost recon ghost war. I'm starting to get back into rainbow. I saw someone talking about binding keys and being able to lean in game. So I came to the forum and found more things that would be interesting. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help a noob?

My settings are:

4000 DPI 500hz mouse and
hip 55
5 smoothing
Y/x is 1.00
No curve
ADS 58
5 smoothing
Y/X is 1.25
No curve

For in game:
100 vertical
100 horizontal
100 ADS
29 left dead zone (for slow walking if you have walk button assign)
10 right dead zone

Haha well I知 pretty happy with the settings now. Now it値l just take time to get some memory, probably a month or so. It does take time to get use to the wasd movement. Can be clunky at times when compared to a joystick.
If  you are on ps4 eu server my squad is playing now. You want to join

Not with 4000 dpi. I did with 12k though and jitters kicked in so I went down to 4K at a 500 polling rate. Will it make that much of a difference?

Really don't know 😂😂😂😂

Dpi: 4000
Polling rate: 500
Mouse: G502

Have you tried 1000 HZ?

I try it and I love thanks for sharing but I would like to know what sync use please thank you

I was using default but have since switched ads to common and lowered sensitivity to 6. I think sensitivity increases if you switch from default to common. I left hip at default though. I知 much less picky about the hip set up honestly, as long as I can do a quick turn and run smoothly then I知 ok. ADS is where I use to have issues, but I知 honing in what I like.

Sensitivity: 33
Sync: Default
Curve: None
Xy: 1

Sensitivity: 6
Sync: Common
Curve: none
Xy: 1.25

I think the next thing to play with now are curves. I値l try a couple of the ones on here and see if they help. Then I知 done and will let muscle memory settle in to the settings which is honestly the true advantage of m&kb.

Note that I appear to be a bit of an outlier here and like lower sensitivity settings. Also I知 not an amazing player like some of the people on here. I知 a mid to low lever gold player and some of the people suggesting settings are plat or higher.

Since getting the apex a month ago I致e run tons of solo thunts and am now just starting to get easy quick(ish) snap headshots. My suggestion is to do t hunt until you can run (not walk) through a couple times without dying. Don稚 cam at all. Just run through it, only taking cover to reload.

What polling rate you are using??

Just out of curiosity, roughly how far in inches/cm are you moving your mouse to do a 360 degree turn for hip and ads? I only ask because every suggested setting seems nearly uncontrollable.

8 inches. Because it's high sensitivity maybe that's why it's uncontrollable .
