Please provide feedback here.

Is this still supported?

Can't seem to get it to work. It use to work, months ago, but I stopped using it. Came back and now it just hangs when trying to start. The xim manager icon will keep spinning on the right, but if I try to interact with it or the other side the commander side will freeze and become unresponsive while the icon keeps spinning.

I'm on the latest version of it all, xim manager works fine on it's own, not sure what to do :\

I started work on this in the last week and was really excited that there is a way to stay in the game for longer than a few minutes now. I spent a couple of days going through the in-game settings to determine which would yield the best performance and began to train. Unfortunately the game still does not allow for a full training session and I haven't been able to use the data I was able to capture. This is a popular shooter that is in demand so I would love to have it supported but this just hasn't been possible yet.

Glad you gave it another try. Sucks it didn't work out..

Do you have any suggestions for a ST to use in the mean time?

It looks like they just changed Aim settings again.. Lots of Aim Assist additions..  a new Aim assist acceleration and friction setting..  I've been using your flick settings for a month now and been wrecking but when they reset the aiming settings now I can't seem to get it back to where it was...  Super jagged aiming..  like going bottom right to top right is a stair case instead of smooth..

Yeah, after the patch aiming feels completely different with all the profiles I had.. Can't find anything that feels good now. :\

I've been using Expo with no curve, with scope sens at 100 in game. I use an ADS profile as well. I was top 150 on widow before I took a break from the game.

And aim assist settings?

Haven't played in awhile, and thought the last profile (Overwatch) I made for it worked okay, but apparently not anymore. Anyone got a profile that works decently? The acceleration and lack of small movements sucks...

Even with a crappy profile I can get 15+ kills more than the next best person every match, would love to see how much that would change with a "decent" setup.

so, what do you like the best?

I have been using linear since it came out (that was right when I got my XIM) with the basic linear curve starting at 8.0.  I just tried to switch to the generic expo ST since I've seen many people recommending it lately.  I think it feels way more floaty than linear ramp. It's difficult to describe: its doesnt feel as responsive in comparison to linear, and almost feels like a joystick movement but with a mouse if that makes any sense. Expo feels sloppy and feels like theirs acceleration when I try to flick with it. Linear feels way, way better for flicks.  Maybe I should try expo for a week rather than just two days to give it more of a chance?

Really enjoying expo now, but like I said, with a curve. Even with the curve I have no trouble with acceleration and aiming, but I usually play soldier. I don't flick with McCree because this isn't PC, and it feels to weird to flick on here for me. But when I did with expo w/curve it felt pretty @#$% good. I used a 15~ aim assist window while messing around with flick shots, but now use 30AW on McCree and just track people as it feels much more reliable.

Also I'd try out different settings before giving up on expo. If you have a high DPI mouse, try swapping between low and high DPI and using the same relative sens. New Sensitivity = (Current DPI x Current Sensitivity) / New DPI. Maybe a little boost.

But who knows, I usually find a suitable sens pretty fast in games, and am pretty flexible with what ever sens I'm throw with. When I was remaking my expo, I barely configured the sens and went with one of the first settings that I'd tried. And it feels great too me. So if you aren't like that, what works for me probably won't work for you, and that's really the theme of XIM. We all have very different tastes. :-\

Just use the default ST and expo ramp and you guys are all good no need to research for advance settings like linear ramp OW on ps4 with xim4 will never have the turn speed a PC has you really need to drag your mouse to move 180-360

Definitely not for everyone.. I hate the expo ramp ST compared to my linear profile, they feel completely different. I'm a top 500 soldier main.  ;)
I like soldier did you post your settings here if not can you post all your settings

Sorry! Haven't checked the forums in awhile. Got some messages about my settings, so I'll just post that reply here.

I actually use expo again, but with the anti aim assist curve. I figured I'd try expo out once more, and it felt pretty ehhhhhh. I like to use a high sensitivity for quick turning and have aim assist slow my crosshair down for precision, but with the default curve it felt impossible to break through the aim assist bubble. Then I tried out the anti aim assist curve, and oh boy... Expo with the curve feels very snappy and responsive, yet feels very nice to control when tracking.

28.5 xim sens, 1.15 x/y and 2600 dpi. 20 - 45 AA Window 100AA. Lower window for flicks, more for tracking.

My linear(CCC) is 36.62, 1.5x/y and 2600 dpi. I used this all the way up to top500, and only recently changed. McCree, Tracer and 76 all feel great with it. But the AA bubble is a problem sometimes. It doesn't feel like mud, but I've let a few kills get away simply because the aim assist will slow my crosshair down too much, and then overpowers my aim just enough to where I miss a shot and they get away. Something about linear makes the AA feel very sticky, which can be a good and bad thing. Tracer feels great up close and can easily 1 clip people. But I play her a lot less now, and feel linear hurts McCree and 76 too much.

Curve- X4MB:AAAAGgA0AC4AMAAwAC4AMgAwADEANgAwADQAMAA1EClCW3V9hY2VnZ2en6ChoqKjpKWm:X4MB (You may need to change the start point of the curve, ranging from 7-10. You will have to test it ingame and find the lowest number at which your crosshair moves with the least movement of the mouse. Too high and your crosshair will be jittery, but too low and it won't respond.)

I'll be checking the forums more, so if you've got any questions. ;)

I use to use 12k DPI, thought it was good, tried 2600 out and it feels WAY better. But whatever works for you. I suggest having 2 profiles with equivalent sens to DPI and seeing what you prefer.

Your mouse probably matters in this also, even though a mouse has the option for 12k DPI, it might not be optimized for that.

Game Support / Re: Fortnite - Possible support?
« on: 06:44 PM - 07/11/17 »
I don't expect to have support for this at the start of early access. We generally don't support alpha and beta but we have supported some early access. I would like to see the game mature a bit as these games can undergo a lot of changes including changes to the look mechanic. As an example there were a few players reporting that Paladins changed their look mechanic three times in a month. Once it matures or releases I can look at adding support.

But Paladins is in Beta.. Fortnite is actually releasing on the 25th..  ???

Its not working for me what am I doing wrong?
I can play on 800DPI with a Sensitivity of 1 and still get Pixel Skipping...
I tried the 8.5 curve and 5000 Boost nothing worked the starting Sensitivity just gets even higher.

You made sure to switch to linear in-game, right?

Been using BF4 and a curve for paladins. I tried BF1 and there was too much acceleration in it.

3200 DPI, 500 Hz, 1deadzone, 100 sens ingame, dynamic aiming mode. I don't know what acceleration strength I'm using because it's bugged and I can't change it, So probably whatever the default is.

It's a bit sticky feeling, but I'd rather that than too much acceleration. I'm using SA3 too help with the aim assist slowdown. I'd recommend adding a bit more boost. (If you don't know what SA is, check out http://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=51992.0 )

>>> XIM4 [Paladins] START PASTE >>>
<<< XIM4 END PASTE <<<

Whole profile here^

Also up and down aiming is way faster than left and right, how do i fix that?

You can change this in XIM manager, go to Mouse -> X/Y ratio and lower it till you find something comfortable. :) You can also raise it to make up and down movement faster if you ever need.

I'm not sure how you guys are using 8 sens etc. Currently using 32 sens with 12k DPI and it's just enough to turn around in 1 comfortable motion. Tracking isn't an issue at all with this sens either. Using the Logitech g303 and cloth mouse pad.

I wasn't sure about this at first, but after a few games, I definitely think this is better than the current ST. Took some getting use too, but already I'm doing a lot better. Though I've missed a few kills I would've gotten before, I'm going to attribute it to being the first day using this new config and I'm just not attuned with it yet.

100 Aim Assist
25 Aim Window (Might lower this to 20 - 24)
0 Aim smoothing

Been using it with Soldier and trace primarly, and it feels pretty good. Did some games with widowmaker, flicks feel pretty good, I will have to try a low sens and tracking, but I prefer flicking with widow. But overall the new config feels good with everyone.

Thanks a ton for this post!

Soldier and tracer mainly, McCree if he wasn't so crap :'(. Zen is pretty great too once you get really good with him and you need a support. Zarya is an ameizing offtank with xim also.
