the download link for mac is not working please fix  https://imgur.com/a/MYdqtCm

Much like when you try to install any other software that isn't signed by Apple you have to right click on the executable file and click open, then you will get another option to open the file.

Installed absolutely fine here on a Mac.

Can confirm itís live!

Great work Mist!

Updated TestFlight and the Apex no problems. Will give it a go and see if the connectivity between it and iOS is better. I have noticed I would have to close the app to be able to load up preferences again. Thankfully itís  never been an issue due to how quickly the Apex connects and loads configs.

I think if people canít tell a 30 FPS game from a 60 FPS game then expert mode on the xim isnít for them and should leave it default.

Yes, as per the sticky!

It does say ďtryĒ however so see what you feel works best.

Itís my assumption that;

60fps game = Common
30fps game = Slow

Thatís what Iíve been doing and itís been great so far!

I did get an email about TestFlight again this morning but the email and current version are still 321. Iíll be patient. Still loving 321 so all good here!

Thanks for adding me to TestFlight OBsIV!  :D

EDIT- Just had a quick go on PUBG and Halo and matching synchro really gives an immediacy to movement. Iím liking it so far!

It sure is! I found this out the hard way when I got my Xbox One X as my PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro before it automatically put the TV in gaming mode due to the TV being Sony.

Tried the beta firmware and seems better but could be placebo. The smoothing seems to rectify how disjointed it feels in Halo 5. Iíve pulled the xim out from behind my cinema setup now to test and can see Iím reaching the limits of the profile quite easily.

Does halo have quite a low turn speed limit? Canít remember it being that much of a problem before on the 4.

are those the Halo 5 ingame settings that you are using and can you double check if your Halo 5 xim config is active when playing it but not your Overwatch one?

Halo 5: Guardians

Button layout: Recon
Sensitivity: Custom
Horizontal Sensitivity: 10
Vertical Sensitivity: 10 (Default)
Acceleration: 1
Inner Deadzone: 12 (Default)
Outer Deadzone: 0

Yes, using those settings. One problem I do have with the profile on Halo is that Iím setting the right click to trigger a slower ADS sensitivity and it keeps on setting back it middle button even with a save...I think this is just a GUI bug though as the ADS trigger works regardless on the correct button.

Halo 5 is what sold me on 1000Hz which is why it was put into the product. I think it feels amazing at 1000Hz and 7-Smoothing and with the Beta firmware. Are you doing these 3 things?

Iím fully open to accepting liability with the problems Iím having as being caused by me. Iím happy to investigate further. Iím testing by making circular motions and seeing if that translates into a perfect circle with no delays to the consistent speed Iím inputting with. Iím not on the beta currently but will download it and have a go to see if this fixes the issue.

I find if I spiral from large to small the micro adjustment is ďblockyĒ when it gets down to a certain point of micro adjust.

I love the product dude so keep up the good work on such a polished item.

XIM APEX Discussions / Polling Rates - Circular Motions
« on: 11:45 AM - 03/09/18 »
Hi there!

This has probably been answer and discussed in multiple other threads but I thought iíd Chime in with my experiences thus far.

I have been enjoying some Overwatch and PUBG for most of the week with little splices of Hhalo 5. Overwatch has felt good to me and so has PUBG. Iíve been playing in 1000Hz mode with a G502 and Nav. 12k DPI. Think Iím on 120 sensitivity on Overwatch with a small about of smoothing to reduce jitter, possibly 6? Hope this gives some bearing.

My problem lies when I started to play Halo 5. This game felt so good on the Xim 4 but on the Apex at 1000hz somethingís just not right. Drawing a circle in Halo resulted in some strange behavior. Itís not round, itís like an octagon. The mouse has been tuned for the surface. If I change the smoothness is doesnít change the way a circle replicated on the screen. I put it back down to 125Hz and went into training on Overwatch to troubleshoot. 125Hz felt good. Move the mouse in circular motions and itís replicated perfectly on the screen but wow...can I feel how slow 125Hz is now...

Put it up to 250Hz, feels better response and the circlular motions are fine like this also. 500Hz feels better than 250Hz yet again with response but this is where the circular motions start to feel less smooth and round. Back up to 1000Hz again and itís just as it was. The micro adjustments have now gone to pot and the circular motions to see how it is getting on is poor.

Iím sticking to 500Hz at this moment in time due to how it has better response times and ok movement.

Iíve changed the DPI of the mouse and that doesnít affect anything and iíve Been adjusting jitter also to see if that helps to no avail.

Has anyone else noticed this?

As an aside I feel like Auto Aim in games is a hell of a lot more instrusive at higher polling rates that I felt before. No idea if this is a weird anecdote but to me it seems different now but may be because iím Getting used to the different response times.

I just copied what ports everything was connected to with my 4. RTFM next time!

Hope this thread can be of use to others though!
