There's no official ST yet for MW so the one you're using is for a different game. A lot of people are waiting for it and there's some configs floating around using other game's STs. I'll just wait patiently for the official one.

I tried this out with my G502 spectrum mouse on a SteelSeries QcK cloth mousemat and switched back my original (exponential) configuration after 3 hours. Aiming felt really "floaty" to me. I'll just wait until Blizzard fixes the 0 to 15% issue that's described here: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20754336532?page=22#post-431.

The way I see it, every console player is missing the highly sensitive 0-15% part of the linear curve. But I wonder whether a fix like that would warrant the training of a new ST?

Just tried it out and it feels promising, much better for quick aiming. However, small adjustememts feel jitterish.
With the aim smoother at 0, there appears to be no difference in turn speed when using the dualshock controller with stick at  max. Didnt do any measurements though!
Edit: I mean no difference between exp and lin ramp
I don't know how both compare to pre-patch however.

I am looking forward to this patch so much! Let's hope that the max turn speed will be bumped up. Does the follwing line from the blue post give us any clues?

If you use this technique along with disabled aim smoothing, you will rotate commensurate to the angle you deflect the aim stick multiplied by your sensitivity.

Regarding the expected arrival date: Season 4 is expected to end at the end of may, whereas Uprising will end on the 1st of may. Let's hope it is launched on the latter date.

That's correct. I need to have Numlock enabled to have the Xim4 register KPad5. The problem where the Xim4 kept receiving a repetitive KPadNum signal is gone.
With Numlock off, the 5 still appears to be nonexistent.

I'm having a blast using the BF4 ST for Battlefield 1.

My profile has a toggled setting for Vehicle/Tank setting with crazy sensitivity. Very scary for opponents when I get in an Anti-Air artillery truck  8) The turn-speed is crazy.

Turn assist for the spot/commo rose works fine although it's not as responsive as e.g. Overwatch's Emote wheel, I really need to drag the mouse to select a prompt and even then it fails sometimes.

I left UsA at default. Soldier sensitivity 100 and turrets at 200. If anyone wants to check it out I can link the profile.

Really looking forward to it! I wish the Xim4 Manager supported push notifications when new STs come out, can't wait to try it out:p

I suggest that we close this topic and move to the other one (http://xim4.com/community/index.php?topic=49538.0) so we can compile our findings more easily.

For testing purposes, I went into the practice area and loaded other ST's while aiming at a square surface. If I use the OW ST, when I try to make fixed length movements with my mouse, vertical and horizontal distance are not correlated to the distance traveled in the diagonals. But then when I load a BF4 ST, it's back to how it used to feel.
I used the Old default (exponential ramp).
Aim Assist on or off didn't appear to make a lot of difference.

This is a copy paste of a response to a different topic but it applies here as well.
After playing quite a few games on PS4 with the recent patch , I must say it feels like something has dramatically changed in the overall feeling of the XIM4. I used the old default but had to start from scratch. Diagonal movement seems to be way off, much slower than it was before. I used trusted Henry's curve and Humanfemale settings, both felt off in some way. I'm curious how others feel.

Sorry for the necro but I would like to let you know that the Ewent EW3102 works with the hardware compatibility beta firmware, so it can be added to the list of supported hardware.

Hi all,

I was wondering how the new Overwatch controller settings are going to affect the Xim4. It is highly likely that the fix/patch will come to consoles soon. I started this topic because I am curious how many people are also curious about the changes.

From the PTR patchnotes, we can gather the following:

Quote
Dual-Zone mode (New default): The vast majority of the thumbstick's range moves with reduced sensitivity and relatively high acceleration. However, when the thumbstick crosses to the outer 10% of its range, it will move with high sensitivity and relatively low acceleration. This mode will allow for more precise aiming, while still allowing players to turn around quickly.

With this new default, the way I see it, we would like the Xim4 to translate all mouse movement into the high sensitivity / low acceleration domain of the stick, i.e. the outer 10%. Am I seeing this right? What would this look in a curve?

I am wondering who else have given this any thought. Maybe even PC players who have acces to the PTR? Please let me know.

I spotted the commswheel turn assist feature in some ballistics I downloaded but had no idea how to use it. I wasn't able to find instructions, can you help Od1n?
