Every time I try and copy this to the Apex Legends config I just end up getting error. What gives?

My firmware is updated to the latest on my phone as well as my XIM.

EDIt : NM I'm an Idiot. Hadn't updated to beta versions. Installed successfully now, hopefully works good!

Can someone possibly help me out here.

I have used RLMs settings for HIP and ADS (not gonna lie I don't even know what the aux stuff does.)

Anyways, the aiming is working BEAUTIFULLY , I have been racking up unbrokens and 5+ K/Ds every game.

My struggle however is with the turn speed of the game. I understand that there is a turn speed cap on consoles, but if I increase my DPS crazy high, the turn speed(or just sensitivity in general) increases like crazy and I can easily use that to turn.

1) Is there something I am missing on why my turn speed isn't smooth and fast enough, I really require it to turn when being shot in the back.

2) If there isn't anything else, is there a way to make the sensitivity extremely high at the hold down of a button on the mouse? I can use that to quickly move/turn and release to get back to the default HIP and ADS sens.

Thanks for any and all help if someone can shed light!

ALSO I have my DPI at 800 because of people's recommendations for their specific scripts, and obviously it's working great.... BUT Xim apex suggested to max out the DPI on the mouse, so should I be maxxing out mouse DPI and getting it's equivalent lower dpi on the xim now or should I keep the xim sens high and keep mouse dpi low?

Guys I thank each and every  one of you for all of your incredibly detailed replies.

There have been lots of thoughts on both pros and cons of going for or against a MKB setup, it has been decided however that a XIM is the best hands down.

As good as I am with ccontrollers (you can check my games out by searching for 'newuxtreme' on youtube) I just have that thing at the back of my head, that logically it makes sense that aiming has to be better with your entire hand and a mouse than a thumb on a joystick.

Movements with the keyboard would be something I would REALLY need to adapt to I guess but I don't think it'd take too long. As Gray here has mentioned he didn't touch an M/KB in over 6 years since CS and that's EXACTLY my situation. Any game that I played remotely competitively on the PC was CS but that was like 7 8 years ago.

My decision is that I am most definitely going to go  for a Xim4 + Logitech G502 + (undecided maybe Keyboard) and just give it a go for a month or two. I might have some troubles with movements like everyone is mentioning (turn speeds) but that's sort of a smaller thing. In a shooting game that's obviously what you want to focus on obviously.  I will give myself time to adapt and say worst case scenario I don't think I am better than I Was with controllers I'll just jump back on them.  Currently I use the controllers like I'm doing the ballet so they shouldn't be too hard to get back on. Plus I have had to reset onto controllers so many times, PS1, PS3, PS4, X360 etc.

The tiniest problem I have right now is figuring out when to get the items, there  are no games out there right now worth making adjustments for. Maybe I might pick up the crappiest game ever like Division just to test out the MKB.  or Perhaps  BF4. Will decide.

Thanks again for all the great replies and help! I'm sure I'll be posting here more often asking you guys for help!

Hey there,
Going to try to keep everything super short.

Console  player for 8 years, I'll never leave  consoles, because friends.
I'm a very VERY good player even with controllers by default a fear I have is not being as good or possibly worse with a mouse. I don't know how unfounded this belief might be.

I tried to once use the MKB with a 6 year old mouse and the CronusMax which also provides MKB support. The setup of the deadzone, the sensitivity the DPI and everything else pissed me off to no end. Like I said before I am pretty @#$% good with controllers so that frustration was double for me and I went back to the controller.

Recently I am seeing great things about the XIM4 and it's auto configuration, the app and everything else.

If I am going to give it a try I'd rather go for the XIM4 or  the VenomX and if XIM4 then I'd buy the most popular mouse  everyone  uses  i.e. the Logitech 502.

XIM4 or VenomX?
I know XIM has been around forever. I know it has a lot of popularity too. However last time I checked it required a lot of customizing and every mouse was different.
The one thin with the Venom seems that it comes with a default mouse AND a joystick which would otherwise be external purchases for me. Since they give you the mouse I would assume this would take all the guesswork out of your setup, since everyone has the same mouse.
Am I missing out on something, is the XIM4 still by far hands down the better choice here? I hear great things about both and the faboyism putdowns of some XIM users are pretty see through so I wanted to know some actual concrete benefits and arguments in the discussion.

How long to adapt?
I haven't used a MKB since about 7 years since I last played CS. I of course know how to use a mouse in general. How long could one take to get back into feeling real good with the MKB coming from my situation, about 7-8 years of playing on consoles with different controllers.

Most importantly perhap?
How close to perfection can a XIM4  MKB setup come by? And would whatever setup I get with the Xim4  always be superior to that of using a controller?

Can a XIM4 be used in conjuntion with the CronusMax?

Finally a bonus question to be answered...
Any Uncharted or Destiny players here that could give me their experiences on playing with both a controller and a KB/M? I am looking to play UC4 and Destiny as my first few games with the mouse.
