Hi guys,

Is there any way that by touching a button the doll will make an automatic 180 degree turn?

Mmm not sure.... In bed so can't test but perhaps assigning a key to left or right. The key then activates a sub config with maxed out sensitivity and all you do is tweak the deactivation delay until your character does a 180 turn.

I will try.

You either have left mouse button bound to something else which is cancelling out your melee. Check your secondary binds baby

Long time xim user.

First time posting.

Long time fan of RML. You've done a great job my friend putting these together for the community.

Just my 2 cents. I feel my setup is pretty on the money and wanted to share it to see if I'm crazy, or if this actually feels good to other people. I use a different method while using the curves from RML and I can't explain why it feels better. Not sure if it's a firmware thing or not but for me it's the tits.

Quick run down
12000 dpi
10000 if I'm twitchy that day.
Latest firmware

RML hip curve
Sync SLOW!

Ads rml curve from the destiny 1 config.
1.35 xy ratio
Sync SLOW!

I've used every mix match method from common default slow mixing it up and I've spent way to many hours feeling this just doesn't feel right. You know that feeling? After switching and switching I've realized that this is the best I can get for myself right now.

I use hard light and sereph carbine.   The Xtra xy ratio helps me fight recoil and most of my shots are crits. It feels snappy and controlled. Strong 2+kd easy

Maybe this will help I don't know. Everyone's different.

How I test? Sereph towers are great. Spawns a load of mobs you can practice on.
Earth being the easiest to get too.

Wish you all good health in these troubled times.

That's it. Thanks all

Thanks for sharing. It's hard sometimes to measure small improvements to your set up right? You make a change and question If that feels better.

Can you paste the entire config code and I'll test it out.

For those who don't know, it's an auto rifle meta in destiny right now and as such I've been tweeking my settings to adapt, as previously all I would use is hand cannons.

I was struggling to find the sweet spot... Too much sensitivity and its hard to track a target as you get thrown off target. Too little sensitivity and you struggle to break through the aim assist bubble to get on target in the first place.

I tried all the usual things, changing boost, dpi, Smoothing etc but nothing seemed to work, I even tried mjframes settings (I know, I know antithesis!)

Rmls latest offerings has definately improved things for me especially from a pvp perspective.

Not 'flexin' by any means as they aren't high scoring games of rumble (kill death ratio I mean) but I won my first 2 games of rumble when applying these new settings.

Another nerdy way I judge the effectiveness of a setup is to go into a strike and use a masterworked weapon which generates orbs on multi kills and see how many orbs I can generate by the end of the mission. This setup is right up there in terms of accuracy, I find that you can flick from one target to another without that feeling of being stuck in the aim assist bubble. Something more akin to games like call of duty and battlefield games than destiny 2 which is known for its high aim assist.

As per usual, put traction on your boots. More testing today.

Thank you rml, another fantastic step up here I think. Will report back after more game time.

Ill be adding a brand new setup as soon as I hear back from a member of the forum. Hes created an amaze-ball curve for handling Aim Assist. To give him proper respect and kudos, Im waiting to hear what hed like to name his new curve.

All Ill say for now is this setup is the closest to a Call of Duty feel I believe possible with this game.

Coming soon...

Mjframe is my hero.

Destiny on mjframe settings is like steak with peppercorn sauce.

Too many people overthink configs and waste a lot of time tweaking. MP performance differs from game-to-game, depending on who else is in the lobby, so establish a baseline and work with it for muscle memory.

These are general recommendations for XIM gaming, plus a few specifics for BO4.

Find a mouse sensitivity that feels right and get used to it. Use the full width of the pad for a 360 in HIP, regardless of game. HIP is all about responsive movement, but the reality is you only need to turn 180 degrees one way or the other.

For ADS, use as low a sensitivity as possible for maximum control, whilst still keeping up with a moving target. Use roughly 65-75% of the HIP sensitivity value and the HIP translator for ADS in BO4.

In BO4 the AA bubble is real, so use Sync Off. Use whatever DPI is comfortable (Sync is more important than DPI for AA), add Steady Aim of 3, optionally add Boost of 400 for ADS...done. This feels roughly the same as OBsIV Quantization Curves, which emulate the XIM4 SA3 build.

I disagree that tweaking is a waste of time. It is through tweaking that we find true xim enlightenment. You antithesis, of all people, should know this. Shame on you.

It's intended for CoD and likely makes little to no difference in other games.

This doesn't answer the initial question. Disappointing

Get well soon Alan. I appreciate all your battlefield configs enit.
