Hi all,

I have been trying to find a good mouse for FPS games.

I currently use a razer naga for FPS games but I cannot make micro movements with the mouse (not even on windows, it seems to kind of "skip", so I know it is not a config issue in the Apex manager).

I do love wireless mice, but I am OK with wired also, as long as the cable is not disturbing my aim.

• Weight - I have no preference.
• Hand size is large, I prefer palm grip.
• I need at least 2 side buttons.
• I have no budget, I just want the best FPS mouse I can get.
• I aim with a wrist aim so I generally use a decently high DPI (16k)

I have very noticeable aim drift when using look deadzone = none.

I have to run it on small otherwise it its just terrible. Anyone else have this issue?

I did do the 4.2 ST setup on my PC, so I am confused why people think this ST "plays nice" with no deadzone? Maybe I made an error somehow with the ST setup? Any way to check what version I have?

i am using a ps5. the ST setup is to use the old 4.2 set up and this i had to do on the PC, thats what i mean.

 I also tried the controller on its own and it was fine. but through the Xim I get aim drift.

Hi Maria, Thank you for your efforts (and to all who take the time to post configs for us others to try!) I have a 16,000 DPI mouse. I use a PS5.

I set it up as described and adjusted the sensitivity in the Xim Apex Manager to my liking but I cannot make micro movements. Its extremely difficult to be accurate long range. Any suggestions or things I can try?> I do feel that Sync = default is a bit better, but I suspect this is because I am just using a lower sensitivity overall.

So, with the new cable and controller it has worked fine 2/3 times.

It once failed out of 3 power cycles and i had no response on the controller. I un-powered the Xim hub and it worked the time after. So frankly, I am unsure what caused the issue or the fix . I will try to tinker a bit more and see if I can find a cause.

Hi OBsIV,

Sorry I took a while to respond (busy weekend).

I have anyways ordered a new cable and a new controller (one that should not require the plug in and out workaround - Horipad FPS Plus).

I will try first the new game pad as I am a bit sick of the constant plug in and out (PS5 is not so accessible) then try the new USB cable. I can type here what fixes the issue (hopefully =)

I tried several usb ports on the pc and both the . and .. ports on the hub.

I already ordered a new cable:

This one was recommended by someone as it is very hard to get the options recommended in the thread in Europe.

Hi all, I am having a weird issue with the transfer cable for Xim link causing issues with the Xim Apex..

My set up:

• Ps5
• Horipad mini
• Xim link
• PC with mouse and keyboard
p.s. The Xim Apex hub is powered.

I have this set up:

• Ps5 to Xim Apex to Xim Apex Hub
• I turn on the PS5
• Once the Apex is Initialized I plug in the Horipad mini to ... on the Apex hub (this controller needs this as a workaround)
• Gamepad works as expected
• I plug in the USB Transfer cable connected to the PC
• Gamepad is no longer recognised and the Xim Manager cannot connect to Xim Apex anymore


I cannot figure out why plugging in the USB Transfer cable would cause this. i have ordered a new cable and new controller online already, but, I am concerned this will not fix the issue. Can anyone suggest anything that might help?

How do you find the Titanfall V2 ST for Ps4? If I check on my manager I only have Titanfall ST for Xbox consoles (I dont think Titanfall 1 released on PS4, so I do not see how they can train it, let alone 2x.....)

Both cases happen. Sometimes I get an alert, other times I do not.

Hi Mist,

Issue occurs with only 1 cable directly connecting to one controller.

I assume then it its nothing to do with the Apex at all and I just have 4 or 5 broken USB cables or 2 broken controllers.

Can you recommend good cables (or just let me know what to check for in a cable) that I can order off Amazon in the EU to replace all my current cables with? If i still have issues, I would then buy a third controller.
