Even if you tweak all the settings different the main problem is still the jump velocity :-( its less when you set the Outer Deadzone to 0% but its still there. Just played one Round H2A MCC and the difference is immense. H2A has such a good aim mechanic compared to H5 its really sad.

Okay so i played 1 hour a custom game and tweaked here and there with the settings. I did 180 turns, 360 turns & flick shots on targets. Another Test was to strafe in all different directions and stay on a target all the Time.

My Mouse and XIM App settings are: Mouse G502, 3600dpi, Hip 35, H5STv1.3
With these Settings i do a 180 turn in about 4,5 cm (1,77 inch). So iam a high sens Player :-)

The Inner Deadzone i choosed is [6%] becausee if you set it down to [0%] the micro movment becomes to twitchy and jerky. If its on the highest [15%] the look mechanic feels to heavy till something is happening if you move you Mouse in a direction. 

The Outer Deadzone i turned up to the highest [15%] because your look mechanic is always as fast as possible. The Game thinks you are always on the maxed pegged direction of the stick. It's like Mist4 says you are able to turn way faster then before. I like it more at a high value because your aiming feels more active and not like an input lag. 

With the Look Acceleration on [5] i save about 1 cm of my 180 turn 0,39 (inch). So i'm able to do same turn in about 3,5 cm (1,37 inch). But nobody likes Aim Acceleration and my muscle Memory cant handle it so i have it on [1].

The other Translators like H2A and H4 are in my Opinion not better than the H5v1.3.
Just wanna say ist my personal feeling i like it to have a snappy look mechanic where i can turn fast as possible whitout any acceleration.


Hey XIM Support Team,

is it possible to implement a button config in the XIM Manager to simulate a half press for the Trigger Buttons on the Controller? What i mean is in GTA V for example you have the possibility to press R2 (PS4) RT (X1) half down and you can strafe and shoot with less zoom than you press L2 (PS4) LT (X1) complete down. Hope you understand what i want to explain otherwise try it out you will see the difference. I know there is a walk option in the XIM Manager to simulate a little press on the Left Stick so maybe this could be one of the new features?

Hey Mist, will you check the GTA 5 next gen versions for PS4 / X1. Because there are not on the List!! I think it would be interesting to know if there is any difference for the ST's. I know in November you have a lot to do with Far Cry 4, COD etc. etc. but it would be awsome if you check this too. Cheerz

I already try the config from gunstar but its still there :-) Its ok i can wait till the new ST arrives just wanted to know that iam right or wrong with the jittering.

Jop right but i dont wanna blame or talk about the turn speed or 360s i know that is limited and thats not the point. I just have the feeling that the Halo 4 ST is jiggling a littel when you look closer to the micro movment. But the @#$% aim assist in this game dont really allows to see it.

I have a good setup trust me. ALready as a Hunter on level 21 kd 2.6 so i think i diid it pretty good. So how many inches you need for a 360 hip and ADS than we see how high sens it is.

Well you have to understand that it is still a "PS3" title. So just upgrade some textures from a past game on an older engine is sure not to compare with a next gen title like Killzone or when we stay with naughty dog uncharted 4 which are developed from the beginning for a next gen.

But in my opinion is still looking very good and i like it really but well i can just tell this for myself. The most importent point towards the graphic are the 60 FPS in SP and MP. It makes the game so smooth and natural compared to the 30 FPS. Thats the main advantage of the game compared to even Destiny which will run only on 30 FPS. But again thats my opinion and i prefer a game in 60 FPS than a badass graphic with only 30 FPS, just sayin.

Yeah i guess you right roads. To play this Game SP/MP was just one of the reasons why i bought an PS4 ;D
