So smoothing is absolutely necessary at 1000hz? That kind of has me nervous as I like to have mouse movement be as pure as possible and smoothing usually just makes things feel floaty. Guess, I'll find out soon enough.

I definitely needed it.  The jitter is very noticeable.  But the smoothing works great....just be sure to download the Beta firmware before playing.

just curious,... what dpi/ mouse are you running ? usually , the smoothing is need for the added jitter you get when using a mouse that exceeds its native dpi. (very high dpi/cpi).. 1000hz should cause no jitter unless your mouse is running at a lower polling rate or your above your mouses native cpi/dpi.

Entering Credit card info crashed the store on my end... PayPal went through with no issues though...

Not that it's always possible, but I mount my wires on the underside or back of the desk. For exposed areas, I use this sort of thing - https://www.amazon.com/ORICO-7-Channel-Management-Organizer-Accessory/dp/B06Y65GRT9

That's a big one, I use mostly 1 or 4 channel versions. They also work as cheap mouse bungies.

I use double-sided velcro tape to keep my Titan Two in place.

These are awesome for organization and I have a few myself.. (I 3d printed mine). For those that have a 3d printer you can find some great cable management ideas on Thingiverse. I'll be posting some custom Xim stuff soon on there so keep your eye out if your a 3d printer owner.

1. This was a decision of the owner, and I admire it, to give a head start of the loyal forum members, by just opening the store and announcing this in the forum, for everyone able to read it, so you were able to read it too.
2.I can confirm that at launch, there was only 1 xim per registered account, I wanted to buy 2 but it was not allowed.

According to people posting in here...some were able to buy more than one.

I don't understand what the problem is he has said to go here and click on notify and he is telling everyone when the store opens no one is refreshing the page 24/7 he is telling us when to buy it.

Welp ...
 Letting people purchase more than 1 Apex from the store is the problem. I'd hate to say it but the scalping can only be blamed on one person  -  Obsiv. Selling here in the forums without sending email notifications .... letting people buy more than one high demanding product ... yeah its obvious someone is going to be smart and triple their money.

Xim vet here. I'm a little disappointed because I actually thought the Xim team has learned from prior launches. I was acutely wrong.
2 things happened that shouldn't have.
1- People purchased Apex before notifications were sent out via email.
2- People were able to purchase more than 1 Apex and now they're selling on ebay for $300.00+.

Obsiv is well prepared for the rush of people wanting to buy the Apex . He and the crew have perfected supply and demand to an art form so I wouldn't be afraid of not getting one when it launches in the store. Trust me, I'm an old schooler to the Xim community.. They got this !
