Welcome to the community. Controller updates should be done directly with the console while XIM is disconnected. It may help to factory reset your XIM4 using the beta flash tool. Be sure to update to the beta version of Manager as well.
The reset will wipe your XIM so before doing this I recommend either writing down your config settings or copying them to code so they can be restored later.
You can find the latest XIM4 beta firmware below. Please read the instructions on the download page.

Same topic. Seems xim 4 needs work.
I see several threads on this. How can we make it easier on you guys for tracking?

It's going to take some time to investigate how this can be solved for XIM4.

Vic do you have another controller? Or one you can borrow. I'm using my older Micro USB controller from my Xbox One X for now.

any news?
A beta update was released for APEX and is being tested. The changes needed for XIM4 are larger but if the update goes well work can begin on XIM4. Until this happens it may be necessary to use a controller that hasn't been updated.

Hi
I know whats wrong
The tuact venom x4 and xim4 are all working on xbox360.
Microsoft and VICE, (battlefield) and Activision etc for Cod games have disabled the above in their games with a software update.
Not working any more on xbox one x etc.
Used 3 xbox one original controllers and a X/S controler too
Please look into it.
Please build a firmware to counter this please XIM4
Best regards

If you are on a Xbox Insider build, then your controllers are running an update that isn't compatible with XIM4. We are validating the fix on XIM APEX and NEXUS. After that, we will port the fix to XIM4. You can remove yourself from Insider builds in the time being and downgrade your controller firmware. Then you will be able to game again.

Cypher72, please stop repeat posting, starting new topics about the same thing, and declaring games have blocked XIM4 which they haven't. We'd like to help and it sounds like you are running Xbox Insider builds which has been discussed. Please follow what is suggested in the last post here and let us know.

Sorry and thankyou
