Title: Need help optimizing my Destiny 2 config
Post by: Enrix on 06:39 AM - 09/28/19
Greetings,
As the title says, I don't know why the XIM just feels weird with this game.
I can't describe it, but it almost feels like the aim is kinda weird and sometimes shaky...
I am not using anything special, default sync, no curves...
Am I missing something?

I find the best sync to be on is ' slow ' at 3200 dpi, 1000 response rate... It is a 30fps game.

Nice, I tried slow sync, it's actually a lot more smooth.
I am a fan of 12k dpi tho...
Will give 3200 a try. Also no curves? Apparently one of the main problems of Destiny is that it has some weird acceleration.
Maybe we can make up for that with curves.

I like 12k too. The only reason i didn't use 12k was because i felt the recluse smg played better with both hip and ADS at lower dpi... unless using sync off.
When using Sony Nav back in the day, it did feel like a lot less hassle.. 12k, plug and play.. using the keyboard has been a headache lol.
I did make a quick curve to increase the hip sensitivity the more you turn. ADS i'm not using one as of yet.
The slow sync is definetly slow so add some steady aim if needed and maybe some boost.. try about 3.0 steady aim on hip and 2.0 on ADS and see how that feel.. i think a bit of steady aim feel better with any sync. or you can try the config i'm using.

Just change your keybinds.
- Auxiliary 1 is sprint. x3 sensitivity of your hip. (without traction)
- Auxiliary 2 is sparrow, set to a key to toggle on. x5 sensitivity of your hip. Deactivation keys are action/reload and jump..
Inherit is unchecked so you can bind sprint and crouch (dart left and right) to L3 and R3.

Thanks for all the replies guys, I tried RML's config, and it's way better now.
Still does not feel perfect but it's a great improvement :)

Just make sure that you look out for boots with the Traction perk. Makes turning whilst sprinting soooo much easier.
