Title: KO's - AAA Ballistic Curves (20190810)

This is just a thread for storage, so I can free up some configs on my Apex. Of course anyone can use these curves with Apex. That's up to you. They are all Anti-Aim Assist/Response Curves. If you want "MORE" Aim Assist then what's already in the game then you've come to the wrong place.

These curves are Numbered 1-6 with a smooth .1 version added. The lowest number will offer the most AA feel. The Higher the number the more Responsive it will be and the more it will cut through AA. The "Smooth .1" versions will always offer more AA then the Stair step versions.

I've been enjoying the stair stepper config you shared earlier on your Apex config. It certainly seems to work better than no curve for me.

Watching this thread! 

I know in the original thread you said that you found 5 on hip and 4 on ADS worked best for you, then changed that to using 1 on both.  I'm still trying to decide which one works best with the only game I play - Battlefield V. 

It certainly adds a bit of "twitch" to the mouse movement (I didn't alter the sens from my original settings).  Will have to give it some more play time, see how it goes, but it certainly doesn't impede on my performance, so would recommend people try them if nothing else.

With all BF games I'm currently using the #1 curve for Hip and ADS. However, If you're sniping without Aim Assist. Then I would either lower sensitivity quite a bit or use no curve

Created this account just to say thank you. I use these curves in just about every game I play now. Make AA feel perfect for me with every weapon that uses AA. Also makes movements feel more responsive. I didnít even realize movement felt slightly in responsive until I started using these curves at 1000hz and sync off.

Hey RML,

What would you estimate the sensitivity changes are with these curves?

I remember the OG AAA Curve thread you made, you suggested % changes when using specific curves.
I think I've gotten a good ballpark of around 10-15% sens decrease depending on the aggressiveness of each.

Just wondering if you had a more precise number to go off of.

Hey SAB215, youíve pretty much nailed it. Using BO4 for example, I went from 56 Hip (no curve) to 47 with curve. So right about 15%

Are some of the curves better for sniping and long range and others better for CQC and mid range? What about tracking with semi auto weapons in mid to close range?

Iím using the current apex legends config with the curve posted, I believe itís #6, and having trouble with longer ranges and semi auto weapons like the longbow and wingman. Something just feels kind of off. I love how everything else feels and Iím destroying people with full auto weapons and up close. Prior to using the config and curve my aim was pretty on with those weapons though.

If you have any suggestions let me know, and Iím fully willing to accept that itís just me and my aim thatís off but figured Iíd ask.

You should look into Disables setup. He plays the game a lot. Personally I donít care for Apex Legends and canít bring myself to play it.

Thank you RML for curve #6 it has brought my gaming to another level .Being a 63 year old gamer I need all the help I can get. Now If we can get a slow reflex compensator switch on the xim that would help also. Its difficult to test my own settings because of my broadband connection with the lag and high ping times. So thanks again for all you do.

No worries just figured I would ask. I actually switch off between your config and his depending on they are feeling that day. I use yours for pubg and battlefield as well and love them. I really appreciate the amazing work you do, thanks man.

The exact curve is not possible on XIM4. You can make something similar though, I donot have a XIM4 anymore.

Honestly, you should stick to linear movement ďno curvesĒ until you get used to Xim. If you find youíre struggling with Aim Assist, then come back and see me.  ;)

With curve 6 what SAB do you recommend for Bo4? I have 15 or 25 for hip it varies and 48 exact for ADS. I canít get much better aa behavior then those values and it still tests me in certain situations with height difference, pixel peeks (rarely) and tracking an enemy strafe firing.

 Also I really only play league and GBís I gotta be precise every ms counts for time to kill. I run icr if that helps. Also Iíve noticed with Xim that every gun has a different aa behavior is this normal? Some guns I really donít have time to configure nor do I care to.

 One last thing do aim assist algorithms learn over time with your game play to make predictions on how the aa should behave in that particular gunfight even if it is wrong and adds a bubble, then goes back to running smoothly (hopefully) in the next gun fight..? Seems like I find a sweet spot that deteriorates over time and when changed or tweaked is revitalized for a shorter period of time then changing back over this ďshorterĒ period of time to the original feels like it did the first time i ďstumbledĒ upon it but a little less sharp. Idk man I play religiously for 8-16 hours a day Iím telling you I notice these kind of things and it intrigued me more than it annoys me.

 Itís like solving a puzzle and my thirst for knowledge gets me enthusiastic to find a way to take the wheel and make it roll smoother. Sorry for the long read and excuse my ignorance as I am new to how programming works Iím just excited and want learn more about my device and maybe help others in the future like you have.

I know the answers exist with the settings Warface is the only game I mastered the settings with Xim. It was a @#$% @#$%, That game lags to hell and back we play Germans French Canadians Brazilians etc. IMAGINE THE AA BEHAVIOR MY PACKET LOSS WAS UN REAL I played the game for 60 days. Out of 60 days I have 500 in game hours not Lobby time I mean in game. 480 hours with one particular gun (it shows the time stats in game) sync common hip boost 1, 9% SAB, .75 sense ads Inherit 91ms activate 0ms deactive .12 sense .1 SA 13 boost no ballistic. If one value is changed itís no good it works for my favor in every situation and I mean every, Lag, low ping vs low, high ping vs low ping, vise versa, head glitches, point blank, cross map, any scope, you name it.. if one gun fight felt wrong or the aim assist fought me once no matter what it was wrong scrap it and write a new config.

I know the answers exist with the settings Warface is the only game I mastered the settings with Xim. It was a @#$% @#$%, That game lags to hell and back we play Germans French Canadians Brazilians etc. IMAGINE THE AA BEHAVIOR MY PACKET LOSS WAS UN REAL I played the game for 60 days. Out of 60 days I have 500 in game hours not Lobby time I mean in game. 480 hours with one particular gun (it shows the time stats in game) sync common hip boost 1, 9% SAB, .75 sense ads Inherit 91ms activate 0ms deactive .12 sense .1 SA 13 boost no ballistic. If one value is changed itís no good it works for my favor in every situation and I mean every, Lag, low ping vs low, high ping vs low ping, vise versa, head glitches, point blank, cross map, any scope, you name it.. if one gun fight felt wrong or the aim assist fought me once no matter what it was wrong scrap it and write a new config.

If I had a word to describe all of this.. evolution


Use SAB off thereís no need for it, considering you have a good board, use natural movement from it trust me board movement is better than controller imo. Or you can use 0% which actually enables sab, check Ximgameplay YT , they have a lot of helpful things for anyone struggling w any aspect of the product. They also build some nice configs for fps games!

If the sniper doesn't have AA, I wouldn't use any curve.

Sorry... I'm pretty much addicted to Tarkov these days. I don't spend much time on console anymore.
