Unfortunately no, there is also no fill squad option either like COD, but your teammates will likely jump solo and/or disconnect for several reasons... you chose their main, you didn't want to drop at their location, you aren't using your mic, there is a kid in your lobby, etc, etc.
That said, you'll start out in "noob lobbies", I think until around level 10 so enjoy that while it lasts. I think I remember you saying you had already played before so you may be out of those already?
I don't mind being with rando teammates, but I don't usually talk on the mic either. If my teammates are loot goblins or just have any kind of other bad etiquette, I really question whether or not I respawn them if they are worth the effort or not. I won't put myself in a bad situation for a crap teammate because as soon as you hit that respawn any nearby teams are going to come running. Heck, I've told my older brother that I wasn't going to and he threw a fit. There was 2 squads left, didn't need that attention.
I am testing out your latest curve from the bo4 post, it kind of reminds me of the granular curve that would emulate steady aim, but more smoothed out from the look. So far I like it on Apex Legends, it is working well with getting in and out of the hitbox. I'd prefer to use the standard settings over the advanced look controls in game, you've provided an option to do that so thank you!

I was using that curve when I got my win. It’s actually pretty smooth in this game so far but I haven’t played but a handful of games to this point. Hip also feels a little sluggish so I’m going to work on that.
Appreciate the reply, I don’t mind playing with others I just don’t want to screw up their game while I build my config, goofing around.

I tried it and it's amazing as always, the only thing I changed is I reduced the boost for the hip to 300 instead of 1000 and it suits me best, I dropped a 15 kills second game with these settings, nice job man, I hope it helps against ranked players to cut through aa bubble fast. excellent work as always. gotta try it against diamond players today to see how good these settings really are.

I think there is just a small amount of AA in the range, at least on the pop up targets up front. Not sure about the ones further back.
For guns:
Alternator with Disruptor hop up is the primary gun right now -- shreds shields quick! (use r99 until you find the hop up and then get an alternator since the hop up can be hard to find at times)
R301 is great with a 1x sight (preferably 2x HCOG for me) it can be a laser. 262 damage with no extended mag if all shots hit / register.
R99 fast fire rate, quick reload. It is basically the Vesper from Bo3 with a little recoil but completely manageable. Hit headshots with this for quick kills.
Havoc is pretty good for an energy weapon, manageable vertical recoil, just watch that muzzle flash it can be difficult to see targets after a bit of shooting.
Devotion, the energy LMG has one of the highest DPS in the game, as it's fire rate gradually increases while shooting. Just be careful with energy weapons, most people don't use them so it is hard to replenish ammo, especially in fights where you have 3rd and 4th parties as you most likely wont find energy ammo in death boxes.
Longbow is a great sniper, combined with the skullpiercer attachment you can get some easy knockdowns from distance.
Wingman is a great primary or finisher weapon, needs a heavy mag though, 4 shots can be annoying with multiple people / squads but you maintain your movement speed while ADSing with the wingman. If you empty an R301 for example, you can swap to the wingman and usually finish with 1 bodyshot for 45 damage. (Pair this with the alternator with disruptor, shred shield in a heartbeat, swap to wingman, down enemy in 1-2 shots!) Known as the high risk high reward weapon. Also skullpiercer is a great hop up for this, sucks they made the hop up harder to get this season.
Flatline which has recently been buffed has iffy recoil compared to the other AR's but once you get the pattern down it is stronger than the R301, but I would not recommend it for anything past medium-close range, r301 would be better suited. If im using this, I'm in somebodys face and nailing them at medium close while ADS behind cover, or if I am really close, the hipfire is pretty good at taking them down.
Spitfire (Not as good as it once was, mainly used with hip fire up close as its magazine size is massive) would not recommend over other weapons though, its alright early game.
G7 Scout -- can't really recommend, but it is fine early game and still viable late game. I usually grab this and a 2x sight if I can as a placeholder for the R301 to swap. 30 damage to body 60 to head, unless they are using Gibraltar or Caustic. If you get it early game, watch out, the iron sites are pretty bad.

Stock - does not let you strafe faster like Cod, rather it reduces idle sway
Barrel stabilizer - reduces recoil, higher tiered ones reduce muzzle flash
Extended mag - Priority for me, i've won a lot of 1v3s because I was able to take down enemies without having to reload as often. I can often take out 1 enemy per mag with a lvl 3 mag. Whereas if I had a lvl 1 mag I'd likely have to reload twice as much.
Landing Location is preference, but I like Thunderdome because it has top tier loot, usually enough to have your whole team fitted with lvl 2 or 3 armor, can push skulltown after if you're wanting to be aggressive. Usually at least one other squad lands here for some quick kills up front. Every now and again you'll have 4 other squads and it turns into a playground because it is so open. Longbow can be devastating early game here. Do not land artillery!!!! Worst loot distribution IMO and it can be spread out. For as big as the buildings are and how far apart they are with the amount of teams that go there, its just a horrible spot. I've hit 3+ buildings there before only to retreat because my inventory is full of magazines, sights, ammo, stabilizers, shields, health, but I haven't found a gun. Can happen anywhere but it seems to happen more often there.

I tried to convert off sync to common ( which is the one i've been playing for weeks now) and I did better, my aim is on point and my shots register better, and I can cut through aa way better than without the ads curve, I think this is a really good starting point. I tried it on a high competitive players "diamond rank" and I did better than usual. i'll be using common sync from now on with this ads curve until better curves are found, thanks RML, as always you delivered and you didn't disappoint.

Unless he’s changed it any it is in his bo4 advanced setup. Works well with Apex, I’ve tried a few of his and this one is the best one for apex in my opinion, easy to manage, not too much acceleration but enough to break through the AA bubble in and out with ease.
Edit, just saw the previous context there, you’re saying an even better curve than the one posted for the bo4 advanced setup?

The new curve should be plug and play for Ads, you may have to change sensitivity slightly. For Hip you’ll want to lower sensitivity a few points. Really makes Hip feel snappy though. I also removed all boost from Hip with this.

No this is completely different then Happy Campers. Mostly default, all settings are in OP. It’s been updated.

I figured most would, I left all the curves in the Config for testing. I like to play pretty fast, with very minimal Aim Assist.

This is still a WIP, as I've now got the aim pretty much down pat. Changed my curves around a bit and added them to the OP. Currently using #2 Curve for Hip and #1 for ADS.
Feels Awesome and helps with sniping.

Tried this out. Good job man. That's what's nice about the xim. You can pick the way you want to play. RML as always has created great configs to harness AA and to make the game feel as smooth and constant.
Mists default STs are great.
IMHO if you are a slow, methodical shooter then use the default. If you run around and like aim assist then RML all day, and if you've been watching too many shroud and dizzy videos then go ahead and use my setting LOL hi speed little to no aim assist.

I’m using the #1 and #2 as suggested for HIP/ADS, man! I was using the peacekeeper and g7, both of which I’ve not had the best track record with, only had a 1x sight on the g7 to make matters worse... peacekeeper I’ve notoriously gotten only 8 or 20 damage with when hip firing, it’s like the slowdown was slowing me down too much when firing from the hip or something. ANYWAYS.. with your curves I dropped a 3,000 damage game primarily from using the peacekeeper with at least 40+ damage per shot, most of the time over 90 damage! Felt like a whole new gun. I didn’t even have a shotgun bolt for it and I was wiping squads. Good work RML!

The jitter is because of multiple things. Sync off would be the number 1 culprit. I only feel some jitter with micro movements though. I’d suggest using smoothing for the jitter. If that’s not enough try lower dpi, if still not enough use default sync.

The original curves for hip/ads are the best, i have tested both curves out, and i use 1 smoothing w the off sync. This is now my main config, thank you RML you really are the GOAT ;)

I'm probably the last person you'd want to talk to about SAB. I turn it "OFF" not even ZERO, OFF! But I'm a Nav user and I know others have complained about stutter with SAB.

Everything feels responsive, snappy and AA is manageable now. No need to learn how to fight it as hard as with Vanilla.

Yeah ALS settings aren't needed with my curves, they fix the unresponsiveness and AA issue's of Vanilla settings. Thanks for confirming. G502 is a great mouse. I only use it do too using Nav though, because I NEED BUTTONS! I would use the Gpro, Rival 600 or O mouse if I could.

Absolutely love the curve so I decided to add it to my settings I’m also using it with the TF2 st and it melts.. I know it’s better with the official st will have to give that a try

Is the only way to have 1:1 PC aiming , also he provide to improve your aiming , those games work with AA bubbles for controller player and sometimes aiming be difficult for ximmers .

If possible, yes, you can try that. But not every game allows you to do so. But for me it's not even just about aim assist anymore. The curves I've created make mouse movement feel more responsive, cut through AA, and feels as close to PC as I've ever felt with XIM.
But that's just my opinion.

Sync, HZ, KB, Nav, mouse, mouse pad, yadda, yadda, yadda.. They all change things slightly. However, the curves are meant to create a certain feel. They'll make Hip feel less "Laggy, Sluggish, Slow, Unresponsive, etc. etc." You will be surprised, I promise you that. Especially if you throw C4 (curve 4) on there. Hip will feel snappy, I guarantee it! ADS is meant to feel snappy and cut through AA. It won't do this quite as good as with Sync off, but it will still feel AWESOME!

Lol I'll try this st tbh I'm use to having aim assist pretty strong tho I usually try to make it strong as I can get never tried to cut threw it usually I get 10 kills + a game and as for the healing I'd suggest getting a titan two ;) alanmcgregor

I m using the original config shared from RML and same setup , game sure feel better aiming is flawless , I give I try to curve 2 in ADS provide to have less AA sure is better with holo x2 - x3

I tried it and it's amazing as always, the only thing I changed is I reduced the boost for the hip to 300 instead of 1000 and it suits me best, I dropped a 15 kills second game with these settings, nice job man, I hope it helps against ranked players to cut through aa bubble fast. excellent work as always. gotta try it against diamond players today to see how good these settings really are.
where is that option? I still don't control the xim well .. thanks

I tried it and it's amazing as always, the only thing I changed is I reduced the boost for the hip to 300 instead of 1000 and it suits me best, I dropped a 15 kills second game with these settings, nice job man, I hope it helps against ranked players to cut through aa bubble fast. excellent work as always. gotta try it against diamond players today to see how good these settings really are.

Within your game's Hip config, tap the elipses (...) under the Aim section. You can change your Boost setting from there.

Yes, this is a great mouse.
In addition, it has almost no competitors - high dpi and the number of buttons, allowing you to play with sony nav :)

There's no such thing as an Aim Bot on XIM! My entire setup is actually quite the opposite. I always try to create more of a PC feel for a game while still maintaining some of the Aim Assist feel.

Yes i know, that's why I lime your configs the most because they feel like PC gaming, maybe you can test those weapons.

Yo... I just paste those there so I can test curves quickly. This also allows you to clear curves and add them back quickly without losing them. Incase you want to test against vanilla settings (linear).

I just pasted curves + aim settings to my existing Apex Profile (based on official one with custom button settings, bindings, auxiliary settings, etc.)...
And I'm sitting now with my jaw dropped....Like "whoa... that's is responsive now"

I’ll be working on a “Smooth” set of these curves that you guys can try out. The current curves work best at higher sensitivities. Smoother versions should feel better for lower sens players.

RML, the whole time I was thinking that my aim is @#$%(not perfect still) but it was AA hindering me the whole time. I added your curves ads/hip and I am melting people.
Going back to G903 hero lightspeed from basic G903 wireless (please tell me it’s a good idea as not sure about hero sensor yet) Sending G502 wireless back as hated it felt really slow on 12kdpi as opposed to my basic G903 wireless, can’t understand why as it was the same DPI? Anyone got any idea?

They just keep getting more aggressive with acceleration that’s stair stepped to help keep that 1:1 feel.
I’m leaning heavily toward just using #1 on both Hip and Ads. Find your sensitivity and it dominates!
I still haven’t tried every weapon yet though.

Good question. I think my problem is not enough AA but still need to cut through the bauble. I use common sync on both and 12k dpi with 1000 polling. Ideally want more AA specially for longer range shots.

What's your guy's setup? I may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue. I'm not a big fan of the game TBH and I haven't been playing it very much.
Initially I used the original st then I tried this one of rml but I am better with the original one especially in micromovements
Everyone is different man, my setup does favor Close/Mid-Mid long Combat. Many prefer more Aim Assist then I do. My setup may require some additional steps for many of you, such as trying different curves with different Sync values.
In the end though, if the plain ST works best for you then you should absolutely stick to it. Thanks for the feedback, could help others.

Dont understand me wrong the config is very good with other weapons, but with the singe shot weapons like the wingman the aimbot is hard and you miss all bullets
try it out with this setup.
Wingman > 1 x HCOG "Classic" Scope or 1x Digital Threat Sight
Longbow > 3x HCOG "Classic" Scope or 2x HCOG "Classic" Scope or 2x - 4x Variable AOG Scope or 4x - 8x Variable Sniper Scope
You will notice the aim assist and the setup with this config is hard to control

Man I love it with very very little to no aim assist. Reminds me much more of pc. That’s the thing though. If your playing with aim assist quite active in other games and are used to it this is going to be much harder to get used to especially with the single shot high risk high reward weapons. When you play with AA very active you simply do not need to be super accurate due to the help your getting. It will take a bit to get back to accurate movements if you have a pc background... and if you don’t have one then it will be like starting on pc for the most part. Just my take anyways. And again if you find what’s working for you you should definitely just stick with it
Being an old school pc gamer who has been away from the pc gaming for awhile (can’t afford one as I have two kids in university and they want all my money) getting the xim 7 months ago and now getting the no AA experience back finally it’s like my muscle memory is finally coming back.

Don’t get me wrong bro I’m not saying that anyone is bad at the game (including you) but once your reply on aim assist at all it can become very hard to control the single shot high risk weapons. And maybe that’s not it at all and could be something off with your setup or settings.
All I know is this is the best I have felt apex legends since season one with D1sable settings and aim assist off

Good question. I think my problem is not enough AA but still need to cut through the bauble. I use common sync on both and 12k dpi with 1000 polling. Ideally want more AA specially for longer range shots.
Lowering the dpi should help. I feel like the lower dpi should give you more accuracy but may affect mid range tracking. In my experience lower dpi makes the dead zone more noticeable and it can also make close quarters a bit slower in the hit box so you may also need to lower SAB on ads if you do this.

Using a controller or a peripheral with analogue stick will optimise AA. Everything else, including KB&M, will give diminishing returns.

All the info you need is in the OP. I will be adding a few newer curves to try though. I've been working on a few things to try to help manage AA and optimize sniping a little more.

I don't recommend this, but for more AA go with Lower DPI values 2000-4000 range. Lower SYNC settings, low to high Low-Common-Default-Off. Use as low as sensitivity as you can get away with. You can also use curves, but I'm not building any sooo...

The whole intent of SAB was to make your KB movements behave more like Analog movement. This is not a good thing for KB user IMO. My perspective though is one of, I like less Aim Assist.
I only use a NAV because I prefer the thumbstick analog movement for comfort purposes. It's easier for me then a KB, I can walk or run without issues and I have better directional movement. That being said, what I HATE about NAV and analog movement is the slight increase in Aim Assist that you get with Strafing and the fact that you CANNOT Strafe as well with analog movement. IMO, Strafing is your #1 advantage when using a KB. It makes it harder for your opponent to lock on to you with Aim Assist. Why people are minimizing this vantage and creating more Aim Assist by using SAB is beyond me. But everyone is different, soo...

I just recently switched from the Nav to the Azeron Compact. Best decision ever. I know they're near impossible to get right now but there's a new wave coming in 3 days from this post here: https://www.azeron.eu/store/
I use the analog pad for movement AS WELL AS the "a" and "d" to strafe. I can still curl my right trigger finger to ads. It's pretty @#$% perfect.

Advanced settings aren’t much fun. The curves suit this game well... I’m using 1 on hip and 6 on ads. I’m on a KB so the only thing I really had to do was tinker with SAB and sensitivities. AA is no longer a negative factor thx.

The thing most struggle with is dialing in their sensitivity to the curve's. What you have to understand is, the curves let you lower your normal sensitivity slightly. This is by design and allows for slightly MORE initial Aim Assist stick. However, the acceleration steps greatly increases maneuverability within the hit box. So, once sensitivity is dialed in properly, Aim Assist will still help you get on or Close to target, even more so then Vanilla (linear). Yet, greatly increase maneuverability within the hit box, so that you don't ever feel like your cursor is stuck in the mud.

The new mode has really identified how poor the standard ST is. It's great for short/mid distance, but sniping is really difficult. I feel like everything slows down and gets stuck.

I’m not sure I totally follow you but maybe this helps:- copy/pasting a full config code does all your xim keybinds, sensitivities, syncs & curves (ie everything). It doesn’t do any in-game settings, you do them in-game (obviously lol).
You can also copy/paste just a ballistic curve. If I’m playing round with settings, I’ll do this to avoid losing my key maps if I used a full config. I’ll still have to adjust the sync, sensitivity etc but that takes 2 seconds really

Also, since I like my ADS to be as close to HIP as possible I just went with 1.25 * ADS sens. with 1. 00 x/y ratio to keep things more consistent ( I presume the whole sensitivity thing is personal preference, for some reason I like my ADS to be fast as well )

All curves are very subjective based on sensitivity. The stair stepper curve is best for close to mid range encounters. Which means game modes like TDM, Domination or FFA. It's doable for Battle Royale but not really ideal because of all the long range shots.
I don't use any Advanced look mechanics because I haven't played the game enough to really know what the hell the do TBH. I try to stick to default settings because that's the way the ST was created. If I get time I may try advanced settings in the game. If the game had a solo mode this would be alot easier. It's hard for me to get into a game where I always have to team up with another person.
Yes, I will improve on this setup as time allows. I'm playing alot of different games right now and I'm now back on a 5 day work week.

I have a pretty abnormal setup so I do use alot of crazy button binds, that's no joke!
I use a Sony Nav controller, Razor Ultimate mouse and a Koolertron-mechanical-programmable keypad (see the link below) for extra buttons and macros. This little keypad is actually really cool and perfect for my needs.

Ballistic curve - it’s the same for both ADS and HIP right?
As they looked very similar in the graph I didn’t bother copying these independently into my game profile with my bindings.
The rest is reasonably default ie: (sync off & max dpi; 7/7 in game w/ mist settings)

Hey dude, I need convincing to switch from XIM 4 as well, I play a lot of overwatch and apex legends, I seem to do fine with XIM 4 (not brilliant, and I'm too dumb to know if my settings can be improved :-) but like you say, the lack of XIM 4 support is a a big factor, would you say your setting feel better, every time I ask about the switch loads of people just say stick with Xim 4 if you are happy

But as a controller player, in the range, when you do a 360 turns, does your turn speed massively speed up around the guns and loot etc on the console?

I was using your last setup for the past week and it felt so good, lets see about the new ones! I only have 1 question, in the 2nd setup is the 90FOV important for the setup to work or i can choose 110 too?

You may just have to adjust sensitivity accordingly. Typically, higher FOV = Lower sensitivity. Sensitivity should always be adjusted to one's liking no matter what. There's nothing more important then be comfortable with your settings.

I just ordered a XIM.
I'm losing my mind with controllers crapping out on me and spending a fortune after burning through the sticks. So I figured this is the best alternative as I used to be a PC gamer before console.
Is there heavy amounts of delay with the mouse and keyboard to game? I play competitive ranked in Predator lobbies. Is it noticeable enough to impact me negatively where I shouldn't make the change?
Anything noteworthy to keep it fresh and smooth? My XIM comes on the 28th so I'm just trying to figure out how to prepare for it!

No, there is no delay at all for me, and that goes for all games. If you are able to tune your config to your liking, you will see an immediate improvement when it comes to tracking, flicking, and movement. Hipfiring with aim assist and using movement in gunfights is where the xim will excell.

Back when I PC'd gamed I had a stock keyboard and a mouse haha, now I know it's a bit beyond that.

These settings are horrid on XBox Series X. Not sure if the 60 FPS has anything to do with it or what but I literally couldn’t track at all. This coming from a Diamond 3 PC player.
I’m shocked because RML is the man at this stuff. I don’t know why but I could never get the XBox tracking right :(

8000 dpi is sufficient, I used to run 3200 when I had a Zowie. Most configs here are based off extremely high dpi like ~20k with a low xim sens, so getting the same level of aim assist will take some tuning of response curves I think. Right now I run an old ALC config from Maria (not the tf2 one) and it works fine for me. Add me on psn derMann_de and I can help.

Sorry I looked back and im not sure who's config it is. You removed the previous ALC from your shared config, so I will post the one I have been using here . (At least the deadzone, curve, and outer) So many configs have been posted here recently, so it's a bit chaotic. The config is VERY slow on 16k dpi, but is perfect for range and has great micro-movements imo. If you play gibby you might like this. Yesterday it felt terrible though, and I felt like there was a huge delay in movement and I would try and slide jump only to be at a dead stop.

Which one are you using? The Linear is a different feel, which is actually better IMO but can I can see it being strange to someone that is really used to using the standard curve. Still, I track really good with it or I would use it. You should have very minimal AA though with the Linear setup. It cuts through the AA way better then anything I've used in the past. Coming from PC, I would think this would be your preferred setup. Its got that kind of feel, if that's not the case you may be doing something wrong. I was literally destroying duos with this setup as it's so easy to change targets and just enough stick. Lol.. funny thing is, this is probably one of the best setups I've ever created IMO. It actually lets me enjoy this game. The AA was so strong before it drove me nuts sometimes. That never happens now.
If you want more AA for tracking use the Base setup. I like very little AA.
Even more AA use base setup and Go 10 notches from the left with the response curve.
Even more - Put in game sens at 7.

Not sure what the question is here. I suggest using ALC with the standard curve "In Game". I suggest not using ALC with the Linear curve "In Game".

If I want to use Boost or Steady aim (instead of using any curve--this is for my own settings), which one should I try using first? From my experience, when I lower deadzone the game feels better, so which one of these settings will have a similar result as reducing deadzone?
