Is it possible to add custom crosshair for consoles?

Are you asking if you can customize the in game reticle to something other than the predefined ones? I don't believe any console shooter will let you do that. Others can comment if that's not right.

Realm Royale is the only one i recall doing this and I believe OP wants his XIM to do this somehow.  ;D 
Best option will be looking into one of those new monitors that have custom crosshair options which are basically overlays.

I think he's talking about custom OSD (on screen display) cross hairs. You will need to buy a gaming monitor for that. Some non-gaming monitors / tv's have it too but it's not as common. Mine has one and it's pretty nice (24GL600F)

see through sticky tape and a highlighter with a dot will do the trick

Bingo, keep it simple. I bought some stickers on eBay years ago, I should probably dig them up and see if they work.
