Title: Does Bluetooth have to be on to work properly?
Post by: Ruhward on 09:55 AM - 01/18/19
What I'm trying to say is do I have to have my phone on Bluetooth and connect to the xim manager in order to play Call of Duty right. Or does it already save the settings and I don't need to have my xim manager open.

Configs are stored and used on XIM itself. Manager is not needed to play. If you have set config hotkeys you can cycle between different game configs without using Manager at all.

I never knew I could change profiles with hotkeys without the xim manager being on. I've also noticed that I do get Bluetooth lag when my phone has it on, even though the xim is wired. Ever since I turned it off, I've been playing a lot better. Sorry to change up the topic but I'm using SA4 firmware and it feels the best. Why is that?

You may prefer the SA4 implementation over other builds.

Yea I've been using it for about 2 months now. Feels solid to me. Every other firmware blows playing bo4

Bluetooth has to be work properly and if it does not work properly then what will be a reason to use it. I can understand you're saying as Bluetooth is important for you. Have you tried it to connect with a different device?
