I couldn't wait for global release so purchased from PC chrome in Taiwan only took less than a week to arrive to the UK but then held in customs for a week and then some custom charges (E.U) to be paid before release to my local delivery branch so prolly 2 and a bit weeks not bad considering it was over christmas period.

So i thought i would chime in with some early thoughts for anyone thinking of a purchase when ever global release is or the Taiwan route.

Colors come in Silver, White, and Dark Shadow

Sensor Pixart Paw 3389 Pro Ms

Incredibly comfortable it feels great for my hand size, weight is around 104g maybe heavy for some but the balance is well weighted as a pure palm gripper i don't notice it, the pro intelli moves effortlessly on hard surface not tried soft tbh i'm done with soft pads i might dig one out at some stage.

Microsoft software https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-gb/downloads/mouse-keyboard-center

Lots in the software Dpi steps, angle snapping, lift of distance, scroll wheel adjustment, lighting, pad tuning.

One of the very few mouse i have that hits consistent 1000hz on the benq mouserate test although i'm a little sceptical re those tests. Cable is thin braided i thought about doing a paracord mod but right now i don't feel the need to do so my only negative at the moment is the scroll wheel back and forward can be a bit hit or miss, prolly need more finger memory to get used to a new mouse also i can tinker in software, i shall just get used to wheel before tinkering for the time being.

Anyway just thought i would give some early feed back the pro intelli has been well worth the overseas purchase very happy with the performance and comfort for a in the middle medium to large hand palm gripper

Oh btw it works with xim apex  8) and don't get mixed up with classic intellimouse, Pro intellimouse is the modified one for gaming, classic is ol' school.

My god the memories of this mouse.

Are the side buttons still a bit rattly / hollow-ish?

If they made this in wireless I'd be all over this. I freaking loved the shape back in the day.

The side buttons are a big step up i reckon, scroll wheel and side buttons generally are much more stiffer. Prolly why i'm getting a different feel with the wheel, played some quake last night and the wheel is beginning to kick in now it's all coming back cracking shape for me, love it  :)
