Title: Will wired controllers ever be compatible?
Post by: RetroGMR83 on 05:39 PM - 11/08/18
Surely they could be used with a firmware update. I have an Xbox One Power Pro EX controller and Xim doesn't detect it, but cronusmax does.

For the Xim to mask itself as a genuine console controller, it requires a genuine console controller.

CM doesn't care to go to the effort to mask its presence to the same extent.

And yet the CronusMax has never had any problems with being detected and works just fine.

Negative. It has a way bigger delay compared to the xim4.

I use both, used Cronusmax + before getting the Xim 4. The Xim 4 is great, but the CM + has no noticeable lag to me. Well, hopefully, I get another XBox One controller for Christmas so I can use my $140 Xim 4 again. The Xbox One controller I have worked with batteries but the USB port is bad for some reason.
