I am getting back into gaming....stopped playing for a little over a year. I grabbed an Alienware 17R4 (nvidia GTX 1070) to start gaming again until my house project is complete, it should be finished in late August. I like that I can use my mouse but I hate that I can't use my Sony Nav stick without jumping through hoops and using 3rd party software that is hit or miss. Will the Xim Apex solve this problem by allowing me to just plug it into my USB and go from there? What if the game doesn't support an Xbox controller, can I still use a Sony Nav being that you have to connect a Xbox controller to it? Thank you in advance for your help.
My old setup when I was gaming
Xim 4
X1 and PS4
G502, G602, G700
Sony nav

Probably tbh you would naturally be decreasing your abilities mouse wise for the game though. How much do you want to use the nav? If tones then why not tbh but if like me you came from hard console gamer and the prospect of using a keyboard is very annoying and hard to get used to it was fully worth it for me and i now find things incredibly easy and am super comfortable

I just like Nav movement better, I'm not a fan of the WASD. I feel I can move and react faster with a Sony Nav. I also don't have a lot of free time to perfect my game play with a keyboard. I just want to plug in a Xim Apex, Sony Nav, mouse and go to work.

I take it no one uses the xim with their computer? I would love to get the Apex if it supported this feature.

Have you tried something like the logitech g13?
Basicly a keyboard with a joystick

No,I haven't. I like the freedom it allows my hand to have. I also play on a folding table which gives me no room. I use another folding table just to use the mouse, the laptop is big. I might just get a G13, who knows,I might like it.
