Title: Advent K112 keyboard

Hi, I usually use a sony nav but i bought a super-cheap Advent K112 keyboard to try out.
Unfortunately it's not working, doesn't seem to get any power as caps lock key light doesn't show when pressed.

Does the keyboard work on PC and if so are you familiar with entering bios mode on PC?

Yes it works on my laptop; I know how to access the bios.
Don't know if it matters but it's a pretty old laptop I'm using at the moment.

Could you please check if the keyboard works in your PC bios? This will tell us more about the keyboard's compatibility.

Yes, the keyboard works within the bios.

It's strange that it's not working with apex then considering that it's such a basic keyboard and works in your bios.

Could you please disconnect apex and the hub then connect only the keyboard to apex and apex to the console? Does the icon display in Manager or three keyboard light turn on? Note that you won't be able to use the keyboard or remap keys in this configuration, this is normal.

Hi, yeh strange. I thought such a basic keyboard was a safe bet to work with the Apex.
When I plug the keyboard straight into the Apex, not using the hub, the apex displays a solid white light.

Thanks for confirming. Unfortunately this keyboard is not compatible. Would you be interested in helping add support for this device? If so please send in a device log so that it could be looked at for support in the future. Here are instructions on how to capture the log, the steps are the same with APEX aside from the link to the tool.
