It's outstanding. A quick tip - increase the dead zone on the right stick otherwise the cursor feels too jittery. I found 12 to 13 to be perfect (that's 12-13 in the game settings not XIM).

Yes i believe they come in batches. I signed up for both xb1 and ps4 but haven't gotten a key for either yet.

I'm pretty meh on this game guys, nothing really stands out to make it a game to compete with CS:GO for a tacticle shooter.

Been trying for about an hour to try and find a match on ps4 but it just stays in the searching mode.  Oh well hopefully it will be fixed by tomorrow.

Not bashing you or anything but LOL if you think CS:GO is a "Tactical" game. (i.e. - if you can bunny hop or dolphin dive, its NOT a tactical game)

Man, I dunno. I am digging this game. It gets real intense. I am just using controller atm and I suck but still having a blast!?

Fyi the aim assist says it is disabled in all but training and two modes in terrorist. If I read that right. So not sure disabling it will change anything.

The game is slower than a turtle in molasses. Run speed is about .0001 faster. What a joke. SOCOM is still the GOAT next to Counter Strike. Nothing will come close to these two games.

I agree the game is slow, hip to ADS feels like it is in slow mo, these guys are suppose to be elite i'm sure they can get there gun up faster, i also don't like how the gun comes up, it comes up on an angle from right to left which makes me compensate way to much because as soon as my ads sight shows i use it to aim even though the shots are still using the hip rectile, and since the transition is so sloooow , well you get the idea.
And before someone says that they are weighed down and its realistic, I'm ex Military and have trained with the sas and believe me it does not slow them down, thats why they are the best of the best, and i mean all spec forces guys, this is what they do all the time, they are probably more comfortable in there kit then we are in bathing suits.

I am playing some more this morning.  giving it another go.  perhaps im not digging it with the controller as we all love our mouse!

The game is just slow.  and it seems the only mode I can get into on MP is finding and protecting the bomb.

I truly love the ability to repel and hang etc...

wish the speed of the character was a bit faster.  i assume that when i get more crap unlocked there will be a gun that aims faster?

anyhow on now playing... took the day off work for this @#$% might as well keep playing.

Soo I'm seeing many people hating on this game, but in the same breath sounding like its enjoyable for them.

I got the Humble Bundle E3 key thing, also signed up for PS4 beta so I have a PC and a PS4 key coming at some point.

Only concern for me is, with riot shields and silly gimmick gadgets, the game is leaning more towards S.W.A.T than elite special military forces.

When I hear 'Rainbow six' I think S.A.S / Navy Seals with a couple flash bangs maybe 1 breaching charge and expert level gun handling...

Not taser BOTs and Riot sheilds.

Game could still have things taken out, I guess. But I doubt it, i eager to play it now. So i can make my own opinion of it.

The game looks too slow for me personally.  Can see the SnD style fans liking it though as the basis from the mode ive seen isnt that bad (get organised and set up to start and then a tense battle at the end)

I haven't played yet, but judging from the videos, I don't get a R6 vibe. Looks more like SWAT, like you said.

Well so far i have found using ADS for both the best solution for me, using bf4 st xboxone

14.5 sens

on my 502 12000 dpi and 500hz

Been playing this with controller for past 2 hour's still enjoying it the only time I'm not is from my @#$% aim due to controller sticks, will try B's settings & see if they help.

The game.. is pretty intense ^..^
If ya get in a group with some people talking, its just fun as hell, we was on a roof, attacking & there was 2 entrances at the top, we were in groups of 2, threw a flash down each one then counted to 3 and rappelled down, shooting as we went.. It felt soo good..

& Yeh it is slower then some games like BF & Call Of Duty, But thats what it set out to do, its not mean't to be a run n gun game imo, it's mean't to be a competitive, tactical game.

LOVE the game so far, playing with controller.. anybody got a viable ST to use for the beta the feels smooth? I've seen some say BF4 ADS and some say Blops2.. we need a poll or something haha

It just feels like old no respawn military shooters i used to play 13 years ago that is really updated. So far i love the feeling it gives me, gets me immersed. Only played like 2 hours though so it can change.

Nice change of pace from the cod/bf/gta mindlessness.

A PAD player friend of mine says he thinks if feels a lot like BF in terms of aiming.

I can't get online right now, so maybe worth a try?
There is absolutely zero reason to think the look mechanic will be similar to RSV on PS3/360..

Yea I got it on both, but planning on playing more PS4 (PC feels really great) but my broke friends demand playing on Consoles, no dolla for the PC you see.

Sad times. (I usually don't mind of its COD or BF since XIM is guaranteed to handle those amazingly.) We'll have to see with this one though.

Just been going through a tonne of STs for this, so far "Enemy Front" PS3 ST on PS4 feel (OK) its not perfect, but better than most of the (obvious) choices, certainly much much better than RSV for PS3.

I think you have it confused with the first extension they announced ages ago (to the 1st). I just don't see the 3rd mentioned anywhere.

Where did you hear this? Drift0r said the same thing, but he and you are literally the only two times I've ever heard it mentioned. I've not seen it anywhere else.

I have the beta on Xbox one but now that it's extended until Oct 4th and I just got a PS4 yesterday I wanted to ask if anyone had an actual PS4 Code for the beta they could spare. Not the access code but actual PS4 code?

I heard that if you played one game of the beta before Sept 29th they will be emailing everyone some beta codes to give out to their friends.

I was getting worried on the 1st clip as it was sloooow but he had a few nice plays in there.  It seems like you can sound whore quite abit in it as from the clips i could hear quite a few things goin on in the background

Yea he thought the sound needed toned down xD, i thought it was perfect. The buildings are so big, it doesn't matter if you know the general direction in which they're coming. My only gripe with the game is team play orientation relying heavily on that, because if you roll solo or with a small group you will get stomped coming against a full group. (the riot shields)..

Its a bit like Destiny raids, you have to have people who know what they're doing. And since you can only have one player pick one specialist (no two players can have the same specialist) then you have to know how to use all the classes, since if the one you're comfortable with gets chosen before you could select it, then you're kind of screwed.

Its not very friendly to the casual player.

I wish that was  the case but I actually tried them right after you posted them. Had this page on auto fresh every 5 seconds.  Your codes just didn't work for me.    Thanks anyway.

Cool the beta is extended, been enjoying T-hunt.
Started with BF4 ST on PS4, but found CoD:AW to feel better.

I need to find the tut here on how to combine 2 button presses, so leaning is a single button press.

Simple bud just bind a primary and secondary function to the same key.  Example L1 Primary is F and L2 Secondary is F

Or just set both secondary binds to same key

With PSN those CODES you don't add the ---- just the characters.

I got a code from being in the Alpha and also got one from IGN.  I used the one from the Alpha and gave the other to a friend.  The code for my friend was invalid.  It happens a lot.

People have code generators/know the format for the codes.  They just try stuff.  I always enter in codes the second I get them now on the PS mobile App to avoid this and still every once in awhile a code from Amazon or something will already be used when I enter it in.  Luckily they always make good and send another.

It happens.

PSN codes are also region specific. You may find that the code you are entering is for another regions's PlayStation Store.

Had 5 mins on it last night.  Used AW ST and it felt slow...... because i forgot to set max sens in game lol

Honestly tho the AW ST feels off maybe in circular motions not too sure so i might try BF next.

Any other suggestions?

Enemy Front..

Just expect really slow turning (you black dot ALOT) but it felt the most precise to me. (Still felt really bad, but it was the best out of all I tried).

I also put the deadzone on 6 I think (5 being the lowest, then go one up from that).

This is the problem when theres no ST.  Takes alot of messing about.

I will give them a go but as ive only got a small timeslot i really dnt think im gunna b able to judge the game properly unless i use the controller (as its a slower game its probably not a bad option).

Yea :) its not perfect but I got along with it.
It felt less awkward to use than anything else I tried.

The game is a lot of fun, just some balancing issues as I stated earlier. Really cool game for teams and clans tbh..

Why hasn't a quick ST been made for the beta yet tried load of setting none of them are good enough for me at the moment gun fire all over the place with most of them not accurate at all :(

Ok so ive never pld a rainbow six game so i pussied out n pld solo terrorist hunt.  Yes im @#$% but i just go in gung ho rambo style but back to the point.

Tried a few ST's and so far the below work best for me

AW PS4 both set to Hip Translator
Enemy Front PS3 both set to Hip (The ADS was soooo sluggish)

BF4 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 did not feel good at all.

Not sure the game is for me but atleast ive tried it.  If i get a chance on sunday i will give MP a go

You'd enjoy the game with a full party to play with. It's not a solo game at all. Playing On PC you can play a lot faster than on Console. (Definitely needs a ST).

Also its launching at the wrong time of year..

Yeah, it is competing against CoD and Halo. However, R6 has a different pace to it, so it will only appeal to a certain crowd - those who like games like R6, SWAT and maybe CS.

I am not sure if this was posted- I am too lazy to look through the thread right now. However--I tested a few of the ST's and the best luck I had was the following and it works very good IMO- Not even sure it can get much better...

I am on PS4
Dying Light ST- PS4
Below are my settings in game. I know it is recommended to have max turn speds but these seemed to work better for me.

Reduced Aiming Speed- ON
Vertical Sens- 6
Horizontal Sens- 8
Left Deadzone- 5
Right Deadzone- 5

I am using a G500 with max Sens (6800?- not sure really)
Xim Hip- 58.5
Xim ADS- 4.0 (Delay-0) (Some might want this changed but 0 seems good to me)

Also- Best way to set up your Xim is to go into terrorist hunt as lone wolf. That way you can just sit in there solo and work it out. Before you click terrorist hunt- hit square to change from multiplayer terrorist to LoneWolf.

Had repeated episodes last night where my xim4.com controls would get screwed up: I'd start sliding uncontrollably  laterally.  Had to unplug and log into my DS4 before regaining full control.  This didn'the happen before last night, odd.  Anyway I just lowered the sensitivity and picked up the controller the rest of the night.

Biggest problem I found is that there is no host migration, so if the host disconnects, you are kicked off back to the menu.

The game itself is ok but too stop n start for me so i doubt i will get it unless i get alot of people in my circle tellin me its worth it for a laugh.

The servers were abit messy tonight with alot of rubber banding but i expect that on a beta

I had some odd issues using the XIM while playing this as the mechanics would sometimes act differently almost as if the ST changed or reset even though i didnt press any shortcuts etc.

Just remeber besides cs this is the most hardcore tactical game probably in a decade... There still is a lot of work to do but im psyched.
