Posted my temporary set up a while ago. Now onto more permanent digs. Just started setting this up over the weekend and the result so far. Apologies for poor phone quality photos.

It's an ikea bekant corner desk. It's 160cm wide and the corner is 110deep (main bit 60cm deep). Very happy with it.
And thanks!
I've had a few updates since last year's post (http://imageshack.com/a/img633/1502/H20AEY.jpg).

Specs are in my sig, but the video is now handled by Samsung's 65" 4k curved 7150 UHDTV (up from a 55" 1080p, which is now in my bedroom). I wasn't really after a curved TV, but I like it now that I've had a chance to get used to it.
Audio is handled by an Emotiva preamp/processor and 5 channel amp (roughly 260-280w per channel) and Martin Logan Electrostatic speakers. The sub is my favorite addition so far, an SVS PB12+. Took about 80 hrs to break in, but after that and running Audessey to EQ and calibrate for the room, it sounds excellent. Powerful yet blended.
I use the XIM4 with about any game that requires shooting routinely (SP only). It's a God send.
Here is my current setup:

Still need to replace the monitor, will be having 2 benq monitors and a little pc.
Elgato capture card and a nice microphone.

See a lot of people using there computer monitors. Guess I'll have to join the group. I understand why with the refresh rate but guess I never realised how much better a monitor is over a tvMuch better. I have Samsung tv with 11.1 surround but I have monitor with 2 speakers and performance is way better.

Some pics of my spot. When we had our second child my office became a bedroom, so I switched to a mobile, height adjustable, standing desk. I've been standing while I play lately and have been sleeping and feeling better during the day. When the weather is comfortable I roll this bad boy outside and play there. Fire up a stooge... you know how it goes....

No one uses their TV as a monitor? that for me would be the whole point.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170404/756581d78ea23d498f52ebfc6c92fa4e.jpg)
I would build a lap board to put the keyboard and mouse on.

Wait... do I see radiators in that thing? What are the CPU/GPU temps like? Going all water cooling isn't a very good solution in the Enthoo Evolve cases... doesn't get enough airflow when you throw radiators in it, so there's a high chance you will cook your whole system.

So it looks like a ton of people here actually have gaming PCs, so why don’t you guys just play on your PC instead of console? I mean PC is objectively better than console in pretty much every way afterall. I for one would definitely be playing Overwatch on PC instead of my PS4 if I had a good rig. However, I don’t want to lose my skins in Overwatch...Also I would post a pic of my setup but I’m on iPhone at the moment and I don’t know how to post a pic here on my iPhone.

here is why i personally think why most xim users don't play on pc. first reason i'd say is that most have friends on console that can't afford a good gaming pc or their friends are to scared to play on pc because of the "pc gamers all cheat" thing. the biggest reason i think is because of the advantage.Well if that’s true then that would make sense. Gaming with friends is always more fun. That would suck tho if you can’t play on your PC because your friends are all on console and won’t switch to PC. As for the advantage thing, I feel like that’s not really why people use xim. It doesn’t actually give you as big of an advantage as people think. At least not in the game I play (Overwatch) I mean sure it gives a slight advantage, but it’s not like it gives you PC M&K aim or anything. You can’t flick the mouse and do fast 180s, you’re still limited to what the analog stick can do.

when we get threads asking how to use xim on pc i'd say it def does gives some sort of advantage. it gives console players faster aim advantage and using it on pc gives you aim assist. it won't make you a god but with practice you can join lobbies and own them. i don't want to destroy this thread with the xim advantage talk tho :)I sincerely hope no one would want to or try to use xim4 on PC Overwatch, that would literally be like shooting yourself in the foot and then trying to run/walk. And yeah sorry to bring XIM advantage discussion into this thread, this is not really the place for that.
I started off as a PC gamer, but have played some console games, too. The keyboard and mouse has always been most comfortable to me. The XIM4 allows me to enjoy console games in a way that feels just like using a PC.
My set-up would not complete without the CouchMaster Cycon. It is so comfortable, sometimes I forget that I am playing games on my couch with a kb + mouse :D. Also, I cannot say enough great things about nerdytec's partner, Steiger Dynamics--their customer service is second-to-none (thank you, Brian!).
Everything fits perfectly inside the CouchMaster Cycon. I have run both of the USB repeaters together as a "tether" between the gaming systems and the Cycon. It takes about 5 minutes to get everything ready to play, but it's absolutely worth it because it's so comfortable being able to be on the couch, recline while gaming, and use my keyboard and mouse.
Thank you for letting me share my set-up!

My setup is in a constant state of flux. My game area looks like a bomb hit it sometimes, cables, controllers and stuff EVERYWHERE! Sometimes I find messing about with gaming hardware more fun than actually playing the games lol
I have the same one. Bought it last week on RocketJumpNinja's recommendation.
How are you getting on with it?

That looks perfect. It’s amazing how pre-built desks never ergonomically fit the person, custom is the way to go.
What's a decent gaming desk and chair? I have a A DXRacer right now... It's alright... The support pads it comes with aren't the best... Might take them off lol
I couldn't find any I really liked, so I had to build it.That looks perfect. It’s amazing how pre-built desks never ergonomically fit the person, custom is the way to go.so true

Just a queston out of curiosity, the guys who have a pc and console, do you have to unplug everytime your K+M from one to plug into the other one?
(https://i.imgur.com/x2tB8T3.jpg)Don’t you run out of room to move the mouse on that small pad? If i used a pad that small it would be impossible to do a 180 or 360 so i use this https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/31gYjvCVMLL._SX466_.jpg

I decided the new 27L (7G) fish tank wasn't the smartest idea sitting in the middle of $10K+ of gaming equipment, so I took a quick snap before ripping that sucker outta there and moving it to a safer location :o
A few retro consoles to drop into the spare shelves and the dishes are done. I'd love to slot a backlight into the Pip-Boy display, but that's beyond my meagre electronics skillz.
Hello Antithesis, I have had conversations with you on another site where you helped me with coding. I saw your setup and seen you are left handed. Nice setup. I also saw the modular controll pad you are using. Can you give a quick review on the quality of it and if it works with XIM. I will assume yes being you are on this site. Also one more the split keyboard will it work with XIM? I have disability and can not use just any controller. Thanks for any reply.Hey Scope, the Ergodox EZ split kb works on XIM APEX, but it's very expensive. I use it mostly for work but can swap the right half of it across the desk to play console games. USB switching from Mac to XIM APEX is very reliable (unlike Windows 10) so swapping between devices is very simple.
Upgrade time...That... is a lot of stuff!
43" 4K 120Hz Asus screen replaces the 32" 1080p Bravia. It's set it to ultrawide 3840 x 1440 for PC gaming and 4K for PS4. This may be replaced with a Samsung Odyssey G9 49" 240Hz 5120 x 1440 screen by year's end, depending on console specs and requirements.
CoolerMaster ControlPad has been added to XIM APEX / Titan Two setup for on-the-fly digital input &/or a macro-pad. GoPro Hero 5 + Lume Cube Air replaced the Razer Kiyo as the hand cam to reduce video lag in OBS.
A second HDMI matrix needs to be wired into the shelves for a Nintendo Switch and a few retro consoles, so it's not quite complete, but is getting there.
The kids go back to school in a week, so I'll start streaming again very soon. J2K at ConsoleTuner is working on something for OBS which I'm hoping to showcase asap.
By the way, I got ControlPad working in analog mode via KMG Capture on Titan Two. Analog is better than a Wooting (not as shallow) but it’s no Azeron. Really nice keypad, but I’d rather a lefty Orbweaver.Good work. So to go analogue I’d have to buy a ControlPad and a T2? In your opinion, is it worth it?
It’s not worth it. The ControlPad has great build quality, but I can’t imagine it’s selling well and likely won’t be supported for long.By the way, I got ControlPad working in analog mode via KMG Capture on Titan Two.

Not sure how to just show the photo but here's a link

Update time - it's not quite finished, but it's getting there and should be done & dusted within a few weeks (still waiting for some components on order).
It's hard to fit everything into the one shot given the tight confines of the nook. For scale - the desk is 6', the left screen is 27", right is 43".
All consoles, PC and Mac are connected to both screens via 2 x HDMI 2.0 matrices and some HDMI & DisplayPort splitters. Audio is piped into an Astro MixAmp, GoXLR and Creative X7 DAC/AMP. Audio pipes out to Fidelio X2 (via X7) & Fidelio X3 (via GoXLR) cans and Logitech Z5500 5.1 speakers (via X7) mounted under the desk and on the half-wall behind the setup. The MixAmp feeds audio cues to a SubPac S2 on the rear of the Aeron chair and Nanoleaf panels in responsive audio mode.
The enormous quantity of cable spaghetti is managed behind the shelving unit and on the rear of the Zen Space Desk, which can easily swap between seated and standing modes without snagging. A few rogue cables show here and there, but that's unavoidable for the 3 x streaming camera & multi-light setup, all of which are mounted on the desk.
Total overkill, but we all need a hobby...

Better perspective of the desktop and FragPedal Quads on floor. Gaming PC is mounted under the left side of desk. Mac Mini and eGPU for work are on the right.

The XIM and streamy bits. The iPad mount will be replaced in a week or two with a 24" PlayStation 3DTV 1080p display that I haven't used in awhile.

Not the best shot, but consoles, handhelds, controllers, mice, keyboards, spare cables, games, camera rigging, mics, USB switches, network switch, HDMI matrices etc are all stored in this sucker.
The metal thing next to the Fallout helmet is the PS5 mount, to be hung from the right of the shelves. That'll mess with the Feng Shui, but I can't access the disk drive with the PS5 on the shelf (the console is freaking huge). A Nintendo Switch will move to the PS5 shelf.

PS & Xbox console and controller management. I also need to hang a Switch Pro, Nacon Compact and a couple of modchipped Titan DualSense and Series X controllers that should arrive soon.

I can see the photos. I'm logged into Google and have Google Photos setup, so maybe that's needed?!?Ah that's probably it. I've never actually used google photos before. I had my google mainly because of youtube and then later some documents/spreadsheets.
