Well I sold off my android phone without even thinking about I won't have Xim4 manager anymore. I had an old Lumia 920 that I was going to use. Forgot that the app wasn't ready yet for WP. DUH!
Anyway I went a few days having to use the PC version and UGH that's a pain! Anyway I remembered I had picked up a couple of cheap android phones that Target had on sale for like $10 each. Gave one to my son and put the other away.
Needless to say once I remembered I had it I immediately looked up which android version they run and it is 4.0! It is the Kyocera Hydro and while Target's price now is way too high it can be had on ebay for $19.99. I think there are some that are cheaper than that but beware of listings that are for broken phones.
The ones I bought were for Boost mobile but not that it matters as you're just going to use it for Xim4 manager anyway right?
Anyway I thought this might help some people looking for a cheap device to use Xim4 manager on the fly. It is verified working on my end.

Wow, that's seriously cheap, especially if the $30 walmart special on the LG is genuinely over.

I saw this at Walmart today. Idk how good it is, but it seems it could work.

Or @ http://sale.straighttalk.com for $19.99 I think.

Good find Jay! That's even better!

Shouldn't any brand cheap prepaid Android phone work as long as it is running Android 2.3.3 or higher?

My LG phone (http://www.lg.com/au/support-mobile/lg-LGP690F) doesn't work even though it's 2.3.4.
Still says incompatible & wont let me download the app. It's not that great of a phone though, lower tier for sure.
I don't really care though. I ended up buying a cheap Bluetooth dongle for like $6 and just use my laptop.

Yes, it's cheaper to just buy a <$10 BT USB dongle for your PC. Assuming you have a PC of course.
