Title: Improved USB Stack?
Post by: gunit2004 on 02:25 AM - 02/07/14
Just wondering about the improved USB stack. Does this help with having more devices be compatible with XIM?

I can report that the mouse wheel scroll function still doesn't work on the Zowie line of mice (it didn't work on the XIM3 or XIM Edge either).

Not really a big deal or anything, but was just curious about whether or not the improved USB stack been implemented in the beta test or will it be implemented in the XIM 4 final product only?

Does your Zowie require special drivers to run on your computer?

Nope. The Zowie line of mice are known for being simple plug n' play. No drivers or software required.

Hmm, it must be doing something different with regards to the wheel that we don't expect. Is the wheel the only thing that doesn't work?

Yeah, mouse scroll up/down is the only thing that doesn't work.

Mouse wheel click down does work.

Obsiv you remember we set 64ms for the mouse scroll after a long discussion with Publix? I think the Zowie doesn’t like that. Solution could be that simple.

Hmm, well, that's just the system holding it for that long. But, I'll look at it.
