Title: Controller is still usable while xim4 is hooked up correct?
Post by: xXSluggXx on 07:12 AM - 01/12/14
Just wanted to verify. From the video it appears so. I want to be able to still use controller for vehicles in bf4 and kb/m for on foot only. I searched but may have missed it. If I did then I'm sorry.

Answer is yes...Also cross-over support

Quote from OBsIV Dev page

"Allow the gamer to choose their hardware: Another principle of XIM is to allow the gamer to game with their existing gaming hardware. This includes use of wired headsets through the controller so that gamers don't have to spend extra money on buying wireless hardware."

Sad thing is I read that the other day lol. Oh well. Got to love getting old. Memory isn't what it used to be.

This has always been the case with xim products, comes in bloody useful for games like battlefield where if you're like me and suck at controlling vehicles with the mouse you can simply pick up the controller! Even did this with those stupid flying things in cod aswell.
