Random Words that make sense "Buffer bloat being a factor all of a sudden is outrageous. MW3 improved their "lag compensation" by improving geolocation locks first and foremost by leaps and bounds. They spent a lot of time on it and it improved MW3 ten fold. They never got any credit for it either."  I KNOW ALL AND I PROVED IT WITH MY MUMBO JUMBO!!

The ping comp or rather latencey comp..im sorry lag comp is there toys...deny if you want...that is the main gripe with "hardcore" gamers...and this peer to peer hosting is just greed...ded. servers for not even 1/2 mil. Players on at once is not alot if $ compared to pure profit...not just gross these game dev have made

ill tell you why im just fine with you and your @#$% friends who work at epic (cough) at best empty trash bins from the temporary staffing job that might happen to hire to Epic (cough) is fine by me.

i use to do my part in the Unreal engine too, with a little project called Infiltration. im not a stranger to them.

when i, a former #1 ranked UT3 player in the world overall in death match CTF and Warfare concurrently talks. cliffyb listens, and then asks Joe Graf (the senior online architect at Epic) to look into it.
Quote
@therealcliffyb know why COD4+ controls roflstomp ALL epic games control wise? ill tell you
@therealcliffyb Reach VS Halo3/ODST is improved, but still mega failed VS COD due to accel curve & slow turning! They did 2 steps not all 4!
@therealcliffyb Halo: Reach's "new" controls copied this. Using a smaller, OVAL (Circle > Oval > Square > Rectangle) DZ
@therealcliffyb b/c the DZ is a perfect circle, all diagonal movements are not over-accelerated. that's what they do "special".
@therealcliffyb Their small deadzone gives more stick room & negates heavy accel curves while allowing high turn rates.

therealcliffyb Cliff Bleszinski @Toysrme257th Interesting feedback, I'll follow up with the gameplay team.

Can we have some more Feedback from Joe/Lee/Rod plz?

So, what team were you on? What season did you "win"? And bragging about winning CAL-Invite is like bragging about winning HORSE on the basketball court. Nobody gives a sh!t about winning there. Playing in Invite was like playing in a professional pub.

So you got your GI bill and are now going to college.  good for you man, some of my former classmates did that, and it's a tough way to pay for school when there is a war happening.  But NONE of them bragged about getting to "shoot real guns at real people".  Quite the opposite, really.

And bragging about how much money people you sorta know have, is pretty lame dude.  I feel like I'm in highschool again.

Ya you also get into the speed boost of wall running but that was nerfed before the masses learned it in bo1/mw3 by making many loud surfaces. Its still there tho.

yea. toys can you explain some things to me? i was CS1.6 guy and i know every little detail about that game. but my question is that what is [email protected] engine? its still almost the same as Cod4 but Cod4 is source engine. so how it is? is blackops 2 source engine? btw iam so dissapointed that we dont have any longjumping methods other than strafejump

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCHNrEn_bfQ
most fun i ever had in game. but it need a lot of learning. several types of jump techniques and stuff. i played it for 7 years
explanation of gametype. CT have knife and T only Flash and Smoke. and basicly its CATCH.

ya CS is source. COD uses the id tech-3 engine (quake engine), its never been source. they have heavily updated it over the years, but you can easily see the influence by looking at how arches are drawn. the few located in COD4 draws them very similar to vanilla quake 3 arena.

the two biggest changes in COD since cod4 have been:
In World @ War (cod5) treyarch heavily revamped the sound engine. its the first (or one of) the first audio engines on console which will image sound reflecting off of surfaces. in all IW cod's sound is scaled based on distance from player. walls do not matter much. (stick sitrep on in MW2 and you clearly hear people two buildings and many walls away)

in MW2 they implemented texture streaming. using low resolutions across the game and streaming in much higher resolution textures anytime they are predicted to be needed.

You're an idiot. Take stopping power off in cod456 and they play the exact same. Except it's well proven the older the cod the more and worse the fps drops and the worse they do at picking hosts.

after becoming a tten mechanic i went to welding school so i could cert 6G and 6GR in smaw, gmaw and gtaw.
during that period (and during down months before retiring from the boilermakers union. which. BTW i retired from after only six years.)
i made it my full-time job traveling the USA working on custom turbocharge projects. generally Toyota. i was admin/mod/supermod and website developer for several websites. one of the most imfamous of whom just loooooved the twin turbocharged 4.3L lexus v8 we built for his LS400.

he loved it so much that when Ford came calling for prototypes to replace their lightweight chassies using the Ectoec blocks. Phan called me to work the engines and clean the frames up.

Here is the v8. it was 1400lbs wet. that's what a miata weighs if you cut it in half, or cut the slow cars you listed in thirds.

the v10 was stupid. couldn't keep the pointed end forward coming out of the corners and it was 100lbs or so over Ford's target weight.

when several universities in the south need last minute help with their Formula SAE race cars. theyve turned to me in the past to help them out.

who was it that wrote all those guides for making big power on toyota v6? and then turbocharging them? and swapping out the four banger's for turbocharged v6's in toyota MR2's?????? hmmmmm........ wasn't that one of those guys who built one of the top three fastest toyota camry platform vehicles on the planet and had a hand in the second fastest?
oh ya, that was what i did when i took a break from flying R/C planes.

no son. naming random cars you don't own doesn't impress me. those car's aint fast. what's fast is something that weighs 2500lbs wet+ driver and makes the same (or more) power over three times the powerband, still get's better than 27mpg, drives like stock and won't tear up for a few hundred thousand miles.

oh ya, TN, CL, lextreme, YT, pirate4x4,. im one of two actual do-it-for-a-living welders ever to grace the near 4chan crazyness known as HMT (later real-HMT). that would be me ;)
well what happened is after he had spent forever being a complete moron; i let the current super-mod know he's an epic newbie and backed that up with the truths that not ONLY is he not a mechanic, but after troubleshooting on the board for three years he still isn't correct 30% of the time. he's not even in the ballpark on many issues. he also spends most of his time reacharounding some idiot that also can't troubleshoot a car to save a grasshopper.

it's one thing for people to come on here and say something about a mouse or RAM or whatever. at worst it's a hundred dollar mistake and you can take it back. but you go telling people dumb @#$% like throwing out $600 dollar AFM's that are not made anymore "because it's bad" on a whim when you don't even understand that you CAN test it WITHOUT even buying equipment like a multimeter??? (when the actual problem is a thirty cent resistor gone bad) no, that @#$% doesn't fly with me at all.

i was unbanned after a couple of days. they just left the title and i frequent there so little i never got it changed. <- former mod there myself.

TN died years ago when it got sold off. its a desert. everyone moved to more specific locations. plus i was sick of getting screwed by people off there when doing projects. as nice as a lot of the people could be; most of them would put you in the worst situations possible and jack you for money. i've run into every from people claiming flawed products, to outright claiming no receipt of them. had a guy one time that was a nightmare. nothing on the project i required to be pre-done was done and it turns out instead of owning the car and being in college he was a senior in HS and working on his dad's camry. now that one was a nightmare. still made close to 400whp tho anytime it was running right. poor kid never followed through with tuning. wound up ripping out the management i had in it and just running water/alcohol injection and the FMU on the walbro 255.
lol they were all so in awe of watching the compressor wheel spin. that was so funny.

but that's why i bailed on it all. it got to the point where the economy was really setting in for hobbyists and it was hit or miss. for every awesome project someone would get me across country to work on somebody else would want to play "fix my mistakes" or "well i use to have project money can we still make it work out???". so i completely quit working on other people's projects unless i know them.

i miss the free parts and sponsorships tho. and not sponsorship to RACE. just all kinds of free stuff for being good at what i do. i remember right when i was finally having torque converter clutch problems on my A540e (i staved it off for YEARS by only running 280-320bhp on the street and saving 450+ for special occasions). out of the blue a semi truck comes rolling down the hill. guy kicks off a near 200lbs wooden crate. im thinking @#$% has dad ordered for the shop now? i bust it open and there's THREE custom built IPT torque converters with a hand written thank you note for getting a twin turbo lexus v8 rolling.

FYI, those are $500 bucks a pop now, but back then they were $740. hell ive still got one un-used. i use it on the  christmas tree stand because it's heavy as a donkey and wont tip over.

i tell ya 06 was a good year. for most of the year i had the fastest street legal camry platform on the planet. three free custom torque converters, two sets of free cam regrinds(that's eight actual camshafts), a ton of 550cc injectors for free. i had done so many toyota wiring diagrams for PerfectPower they shipped me some old SMT's. the first v6 MR2 swap i did, it was a supercharged 1mz-fe. that thing was tits. the owner had us go with him to the road track at talladega and man that thing could fly. nothing was close to it. not WRX's, evo's 3sgte MR2's and vettes (all making near or more than double the peak power) >90% peak torque on those car v6's from under 2000rpm to nearly 7k. that's when i started dabbling in open wheeled cars.
IIRC that was also the year i accepted the challenge to do a 100% custom toyota v6 turbo project and have it cost under $500usd. which i did. ;)

XIM is for fun. i don't get paid to be here. but you wanna talk how to turn oddball things into monsters... ya ive paid bills with that. anybody can get a JZ or S block hot under the collar with off the shelf parts. any idiot can go on hondatech and make a crappy four banger manifold. but ever seen a turbocharged 3.0L toyota truck/suv? a turbocharged toyota v6? lexus ES, toyota windom/camry/avalon/solara or an MR2 swap? im being conservative in the statement that you've got a greater than 80% chance my hands and sweat were put into it. or look at some of the fastest turbocharged UZ block v8's out of the last decade. the couple that my hand's didnt touch still sought MY input on how I would go about doing it and many of them took that input. think there are off the shelf parts for any of that? hell no. it's all custom work. aint no parts catalogue queens following DIY forum instruction manuals. you better show up with your ducks in a row!

i like the older ones too. its like anything else. not as nice in many ways, but the build quality was a little tighter and you just completely loose the DIY wrenching ability much later than that.

ive played with some bmw's ;) toyota licensed their management system in the 80's and improved upon it. i hate the steering and shifting (way too heavy for me), but they are as easy to work on & tune as toyotas. very logical, not overly complicated. built like tanks & last forever on the streets (not so long in lemon's racing, but almost nothing does hah!)
real good friend of mine had a nice 1989 325 (whatever the i6+coupe+MT was). we had lots of work in it. it was pretty high strung after porting, cams and some free tweaks on the management side. everything taken out you could take out. it was a quick car. real quick on the road races up in memphis. it was kind of a brute tho. didn't weigh that much, didn't have a lot of low down, but you had to drive it real ham-fisted.

You aren't really arguing or making a valid argument. You have no pics of you at epic games or wherever you went. You have no pics of the lambos or paychecks or building. You didn't actually refute anything toys wrote. You just made up @#$% that you can't back up in poorly formatted blocks of text. If this is you "trolling" it's pathetic. 1.) It's not a 3rd world country.

2.) Afghanistan ain't so pretty when you have bullets whizzing over your head, or you're afraid to drive around because of IED's.

3.) He posted a pic of his BMW, something I know you cannot afford if you're full time US military. Unless of course you're a higher ranking officer, which you're not.

4.) It's not illegal to post war time pics, unless said pics are of formal duty.

5.) You have nothing "Top Secret"... unless of course your toon mates are trolling you.

6.) If you're really in the military, then I thank you for your service. Unfortunately, that doesn't make you smart.

Don't know many servicemen who say crap like "our gift to people like you." Lol God I hate that @#$%.. "we're out in the @#$% to protect your freedom." What, you think you're entitled to something? You think you're special? Did you serve in world war 2? If not, shut your mouth.

Btw, soldiers don't make much. They really don't. Are you making at least $250k? No? Then shut your mouth. There are people in this forum who make six figure salaries and don't mouth off about it. Those young soldiers buying bmws and benz because they get a little signing bonus (I am aware how much they get) are stupid. They're young and they think that's good money. It's not.

P.s. you're welcome.. we're the ones who pay for your salary.

If you want to troll don't drag us veterans down with you, some of us are sane hard working people that are proud of our service. Foul language is not well received here nor is tolling. I am not going to get into a fight for you calling me a lyar regarding my military service. I did my time (OIF) and im satisfied with my service, I have no quam with you other than your conduct being unbecoming someone in the military.

I'm in the Army, stationed at Ft. Anyways, most of what I get from the ones who have this game, is that the servers them selves aren't bad, and they're probably running on XEON BLADE servers which are great servers, but if the code comipling and code manipulation on the servers is Jack Up, then thats mostly programming error not really reliablity of servers, and as we all know this game's programming is not up-to par with its peers or just the time, 2010 this game came out. If its the programming on the server, either expect it to never fully function right because no company is gonna spend the money to re-programm and re-hash and compile their servers, or either come to the fact that just like in 2k9 the online game-play will never satisfy you.
just to break this down in easy to follow point fashion:

that's some pretty epic insight there you gave everyone on the 2ksports forum.

However GI Bill is friggin amazing for someone in college. $360 a month to do @#$%? Heellll yeahaahh. Between that, TA, and just regular pay I could live off of nothing and get out of college debt free... However I like shiny things so I've got a bit of debt racked up. I actually thought about military out of high school after talking to some recruiters taht were hanging around the school all the time. Just from the amount of idiots in the recruiters offices and around the meps i could tell it wasn't for me though. Far too many people like you. Got a 149 on the dlab, they harassed me for a long time. The fact that there are people who can't even get a 22 or whatever you need to be a marine and get waved in is horrifying. It's not even a test, its just to verify you are literate and non retarded.

Who exactly do you think that you freed us from? The wars were a sham to line defense contractors pockets. Terrorist hijacking planes? That's what the useless TSA is saving us from.
