Thanks OBsIV and 'The Betas' for putting me on the list.

In the ultimate 'that's what she said' comment, I really thought it was bigger from the pictures ;) I put a folded dollar bill next to it for comparison. (Sorry for the muted lighting).

In reality, it's VERY AWESOME looking. The pulsing glow makes it look right out of Star Wars (or insert your favorite sci-fi reference). I'm stuck at work still but can't wait to get home to try it out.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I'll do my part and provide feedback on the PS3 end. Unfortunately, I only have MW3 right now.

MW3 is fine. Please, as much gaming as you can do on PS3 as possible since it's the newest piece of the system.

yea the picture on xim3.com makes it seems as if it's as big as my entire hand for some reason.

An idea is to put 2 rulers next to it showing the length and width of it in the main picture.

Please post your comparison on MW3 PS3 against the XIM3.  How different is different :D!

Is there a battlefield 3 smart translator for the ps3 on the xim edge? Is there a list of the games the xim edge supports (smart translator) for the ps3? Thanks.

You took the idea right out of my head! I was going to surprise everyone. So I'll do this this weekend -- For Science!

(I'm actually in the process of building a new pc. So I can't edit/render my videos until I finish my build this weekend. My credit card bill's going to be horrendous this month, lol.)

I always find a playing card a good reference as its simple and universal. ;D

I always wondered why the international shipping is so much faster than domestic, I guess cuz its mostly air travel.

can I presume those that have already got a xim3 shouldn’t go ahead and buy this straight away unless they have multiple uses for it such as owning both a Xbox and ps3? Or unless they just want the extra storage space for more smart translators and more configs etc. am I correct in thinking i should just stick with my xim3 until it blows up from overuse or something then purchase one of these? :)

I got mine yesterday afternoon, but I was out for a friend's bachelor party last night.

I had this idea when I was coming home that it would be a good idea to set it up and play. I woke up this morning on the floor next to a half opened FedEx box.

I'll definitely be enjoying the Edge tonight and providing feedback.

If you ONLY have an xbox & already own a xim3, it is not gonna benefit you too much.

I got rid of mine & now only have a ps3, so it would be a much better investment for me & others like me.

There are a few comparison threads & a chart floating around to refer to. This is a show off thread... Not a dilemma solving one.

Most of the time they don't unless you've payed extra for Saturday delivery. Not many online vendors offer this option though, Amazon is the only one that I've come across that does.

I payed 33 dollars i expect saturdays. I will get my money back if not as the claim to be so confident. Its says i can get a refund. Their was movement on my package earlier at 12am so im sure i will get it.

Look at the expected time. Mine won't be here for the week end. Its expected to get here on Monday for me (Sunday for Americans). Kinda sucks as Fedex here works on Saturday, so technically speaking it should have been here today (3 days from when fedex picked it up). Its still in transit from Honolulu at this stage. I know right, why the f did it have to stop over in Honoloulu lol.

If Fedex depot is near by you can go there and grab it but I'm 99% sure they won't deliver it on a sat. Mines been delivered but I'm not home. On holiday at the moment. Got fedex to deliver it to the old dude opposite me. He takes my mail in when I'm not there......I pick his wife up off the floor at 5am on sunday mornings when she's got confused and decided to lie down in a cupboard. Its a good deal LOL.

What size was the outer box? I think judging by my tracking details they may have just posted it through my UK letter box.....UK letter boxes holla!

Yeah I've never gotten fedex on Saturday except from Amazon, next day shipping early Saturday morning delivery ftw

estimated on the 25 which was friday. I payed alot for this service. I will be ringing monday. I feel im in my rights here.

Not sure how much you can fight if they only estimated that date. Sucks anyway, worth a go having a pop at them.

ZOMG! It is true.  Finally PS3 support!!!

I've been dropping in every now and then waiting for it to happen and it's finally here.  LOL.  Bravo to the developers and testers.  Can anyone verify to me it works with Uncharted?  Don't care which version.  My XIM1 had a weird issue with Uncharted 2 and 3 where running forward and strafing left resulted in slow walking character.  I would love to invest in this...

I check every day  hoping that xim edge is on stock.
I have a lot of game where i want test it and im still on xim 1.
when i see this kind of post you dont know how im I'm jealous.
