Straight up amazing. Cant stop playing it.... Its the best game ive played on the 360 though im not as experienced as others it makes arkham asylum look weak. I am rocking it with a controller which works perfect for this game. If you buy it you will not regret and if you rent it youll be ripping rocksteady off bigtime. Anyone else addicted?

Looks good. What exactly do you do? Is there a lot of RPG elements ie puzzle solving, collecting items etc? Or is it more GTA beat the crap outa stuff?

Dont think it has mp... Havnt looked... Gabba kinda gta and kinda rpg. lotsa action great story impressive graphics great controls huge sandbox. Im an fps whore btw and I love this game.

If it plays like GTA then i'll go for it. I hate only having 1 path to take....such a waste of a huge sand box.

actually started arkham asylum last night.. I have 2 27 inch monitors side by side and downloaded the demo on xbox 360... the PC version blows the console version out....
I had the settings at all very high and AA at 16x.. still thinking if i should get achievements or not =[

I'm really having a blast with this game. Wish I didn't have to work today, LOL. I've only used my controller and I've been doing fine. Here's a couple short videos I made for my blog.

Is the Scarecrow in it? Id love him to come out with some cheesy lines like "This is the final straw batman". Does Mr Freeze say anything like "Its 'Ice' to see you" or "Im putting you on ice" ??

Seriously, I haven't seen Scarecrow or Freeze and I don't know if they'll be in the storyline later. I only had ~ 2hrs to play last night after the kids FINALLY went to bed (my usual amt, unfortunately). By my estimate there are about 30 different characters to meet. I've only met (or got referenced to) 1/4 of that. Briefly saw the Joker (after the first video above) and he through in his share of puns, as usual.

Mr. freeze is in it but its a very serious mr. freeze.... Havnt seen scarecrow yet but scarecrow was awesome in the first game. Turn rate is kinda slow but in combat it doesnt matter cuz you just snap to enemies with your attacks. It plays great with a pad. Legit im sure the pc version looks ridiculous.

In one of the beginning missions where you save Catwoman from Two-face, there is a basement in the courthouse. If you go down there you will see a guy who is locked in a cell and he keeps telling you to come see him on Holloween for a surprise. Pretty awesome I thought, I guess it goes off your date from your Xbox. Anyways, the reason I said this was because I think he is the Scarecrow. At least he kinda looks like it to me.

I'm planning on never playing any game except FPS and then when i'm too old to play that i'll be a retro gamer on cool games like this that i missed.

I still haven't had the chance to play arkham asylum yet. Do you guys think it would be better for me to just buy the new one or buy the old one first because its cheap then grab a preowned arkham city?

Just got the new game informer and they gave batman arkham city a perfect 10 and called it the best licensed game ever made. So were not alone in liking it.

This thread isn't fair... I can't buy anything right now, so, should I trade in and keep black ops for my fps fix and get this, or should I trade in for mw3, and hope for something good for Christmas?
